Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Since month, I'm using "Bitwarden" and here I have the problem that passwords seem to be saved in browser cache or elsewhere. Now I'm trying "Enpass" and it looks great so far, but it seems that I have the same problem here. I'm using "Enpass" on Windows 10 with cloud sync enabled via OneDrive. Safe is synced to my iPhone with iOS 14.3 installed. If I create or change an entry in the desktop app it is synced to the iOS app. So I have a login saved in "Enpass" for a website. When logging in to the website in Firefox on iOS everything works great, and I'm able to login. For testing, I changed the password of that entry to a wrong password in the desktop app. The c…

I have a Problem with Enpass 6.5.2 (726) and the Browser Extension 6.5.1 running in Firefox 83. I cannot get the extension authenticated to the Enpass App. The Extension Log reads: Safari and Edge Working without any Problems. My OS is macOS 10.15.7

Have installed enpass on iMac using Safari with latest update,, and am having a problem with empass will not automatically ask to save sites and passwords. I have tried deleting some non-important sites, and then bringing them back to the login page, and enpass has yet to ask to save. Would appreciate help on this issue. I am considering switching from LastPass to Enpass and use Linux as my primary platform. On Fedora 32, I tried to use Enpass to fill credit card info in Amazon but nothing happens when I double-click on the desired credit card entry. Should this work? TIA

I am using Enpass for a few years and I have just tried 1Password for few days. And maybe I have bad settings or Enpass in browser is terrible. It does not work, the browser is not trusted if you want to enable the extension. I downloadet the originial from the chrome store and this on works as it should.

Using enpass with windows 10 and chrome doesn't work. After installing the extension for chrome I can't connect the enpass app with the enpass extension for chrome. I always get the error "Enpass assistent can't connect to the Enpass-App" (Enpass-Assistent kann keine Verbindung zur Enpass-App herstellen). On the same windows 10 system enpass is working fine with edge. Any hint what could be the reason for this behaviour? Best regards

Hey, is it possible to make use of the "sections" in one entry for Autofill? For Example i use a service and this service has two login forms (or two apps) but uses different login data, is it possible to determine that i would like to link the first app with Username/E-Mail and Password from the first section and the seconde app with Username/E-Mail and Password from another section? And is it possible to determine which fields should be used for autofill?

When using enpass to connect to qnap NASes, the username is not getting filled. In the webform, only the password field is mapped. I tried several thing (delete, recreate, save webform, ...) nothing worked. If I edit the Enpass entry to change the User Name to the e-mail address it functions correctly. The chrome password saving feature is blocked by the Enpass extension, and it is not useful, specially for development, when you want to save trash logins in browser instead of Enpass. Is it possible to enable them both, to make a choice where the login would be saved?

I have a site where i need to fill in 3 fields in order to log in: 2 different ID fields and the password. The problem is I can't figure out how to do it with Enpass. When I was using Roboform it was able to handle this without a problem. I upgraded Windows10 with the recommended updates from the Microsoft Update panel. Now under Opera, a message keeps popping up that the EnPass extension is too old to communicate with EnPass. Installed the extension (latest version) now says that the extension needs to be accepted. No errors on the extension screen under Opera. Somehow the handshaking is not working, I don't see these issues under Chrome.

The app works as expected but the extension is not, instead I get the attached error (unlocking cancelled). I would like to note that everything works ok on Ubuntu Mate 18.04 but not with the Ubuntu 18.04 distribution , with the same version of chrome browser (81.0.40444.122).
