Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hi, for some reason the Enpass Browser Extension correctly detects the amazon.de login page, but the page where you have to enter the TOTP code is not recognized correctly, so the list of items to choose from in the extension is not pre-filtered to only show amazon, or matching items. This means everytime I log in to amazon, I have to search for the amazon.de item I want to use manually in the list of all items, to get the TOTP code, which is tiresome. I use Enpass 5.5.0.2 (Beta), with Enpass Extension 5.3.4 and Firefox 52. Thanks in advance for looking into this issue, please don't hesitate to ask if you need further info.

Is there a way to configure Enpass, to automatically fill the login form, without having to press Ctrl+/ ? If there's only one set of credentials for a website, then there's no reason to select anything. The only available credentials should be filed automatically. Is there a way to do this? Thanks

Using the Fastmail web interface in Chrome with the Enpass extension, a bogus login with password 'PIN' is detected by the extension (and offered to be saved) whenever I move a message to a different folder.

Hi， As you can see in the screenshot, if you right click the text box, and choose enpass, some buttons are covered by the dock. You're unable to click them, please fix.

Autofill does not work on the main page : https://mabanque.fortuneo.fr/fr/identification.jsp But it works on this page : https://mabanque.fortuneo.fr/paiement-securise/#/login The same logins are used on both. Websites are https://app.tutanota.de/#login and https://app.tutanota.com/#login. Forms expand as if it fills, but nothing is pasted into the username and password fields.

Sometimes I've come across a website that will reject the autofill for the password field. The login screen appears, the autofill notifications appears, I click it and select the matching credential that shows up, and it proceeds to autofill but the website automatically clears the password field after autofilling. What would be great for situations like this and other situations, is that instead of granting ZERO access to any details of each credential during the autofill process (other than selecting which one to use for autofill) allow a button on the right of each entry to be able to open that credential to see and copy each detail of it... just like it does when you …

Attempting to use https://exchange.gemini.com/signin the autofill plugin for chrome or safari doesn't find the fields at all. Both are animated when attempting to use autofill but no info is pasted into them. Hi, Complete newbie here, so apologies if I'm missing something bleedin' obvious! So, I'm attracted to enpass because I've got a new laptop with Windows Hello and I'm trying to work out what it can do. So far I seem to have 2 desktop apps installed, Ver's 5.2.4 (from the windows store) & 5.4.1 (from enpass website). 5.2.4 seems to work fine with Windows Hello, but it doesn't appear to support browser extensions and there is no browser tab on the settings page. 5.4.1 does have the browser tab in settings and I can get it working with Chrome to log in, but it doesn't seem to support Windows Hello. I recently came across this article: Password managers: attacks and defenses -- FEBRUARY 6, 2017 found here: https://blog.acolyer.org/2017/02/06/password-managers-attacks-and-defenses/. It describes common password attacks on password managers, mostly surrounding "autofill." For example, "The evil coffee shop attacker," "Sweep attacks," "Injection," and so forth. It lists several password managers like the big browsers (Chrome, Safari, etc.), Lastpass, 1Password, etc. It does not mention enpass. I would like to know if these types of autofill security concerns have been investigated and addressed in enpass. Thank you.

All of a sudden the little light or dark icon won't show up in the firefox toolbar any idea why? Oops. Just discovered that Enpass not working at all with Firefox. Will advise.

In latest Firefox version 50.0.2, the keyboard shortcut does not work at all. Have to manually fill logins by clicking on extension or context menu. Please fix this issue.

I'm trying to use enpass 5.4.1 with chromium 56.0.2924.76 and it doesn't want to work. I'm getting the "enpass connection error"... It does however work really nicely with Opera and Safari.

How do you save new logins? The browser extension never asks if I want to save new logins. I have the option checked in the app's settings. I'm using the chrome extension on Vivaldi on Manjaro Linux.

Hello, I've been trying Enpass, and find that there are lots of issues with detecting autofill on many sites. Here are two that don't work as of now: webmail.abioscientist.com turnitin.com Is there any workaround to get autofill working in these sites? This is using Firefox v48. I also think that it would be nice to start a common database/list of websites that are not working for autofill. And finally, perhaps make a keyboard shortcut in the extension to copy U/N and another one to copy Password (for sites that don't work with autofill).

Hi, im using Enpass on macOS Sierra and its working fine. The last update Enpass version 5.4 needs new browser extensions. Autofill on the login page of my qnap nas is not working with extension since version 5.3.3 in google chrome, firefox and safari. The password field will never filled, so the autofill-process failed every time. Its not a big problem. Browser extension version 5.3.0 works perfektly. Where can i get older versions of the browser extensions? Thanks for your work on Enpass, its making password administration a hole lot easier.

HI, I have been using Enpass for some time now, I have been waiting for that magic moment when the Chrome Extension starts working. Does it work for anyone? I have Windows 10 Home on 1 machine and Window 10 Pro on another. I assume I have the latest Chrome browser installed since I think it auto-updates itself. I use Super Anti-Spyware (free version) and Sophos Home Antivirus. The extension doesn't ever work on either machine. All I ever see is the Connection Error. I have paid for pro version of Enpass for Android and would like some sort of step by step tutorial how to get it working.

Hello, this morning i updated my enpass desktop app. Win10Pro, Firefox 50.1. No the autofill extension refuse to work. I get this error message: Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension. I read older threads about this issue, but nothing helped. i tried to reinstall extension and enpass its open in the background browser extensions are enabled minimaze to tray is enabled i started enpass first and the firefox after restart kind regards jokerman

It doesn't work anymore. Opera 42 is new release Disabling browser check in desktop app solve the issue.

happy new year everyone, I have installed enpass on windows 10 and on my browsers they are all working except UC browser extension which is my browser of choice for both mobile/desktop and this is keeping me from deciding to purchase premium I always get Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension.
