Autofilling and Desktop Browser Extensions

Hello everyone, my name is Tom. I'm a new user of enpass. Found out about this program from the app store on my iphone. I've used keepass 2.x for years, but decided to try this on my home computer before I take it to work with me I have several questions, but the first one, how do you autofill using a shortcut key? and what shortcut key combination is it? At home I use Firefox, which I see there's an extension for that but at work, we are FORCED to use Internet Explorer. I know....but not my idea... in the docs I see something about CTRL + \ so I tried that, holding down CTRL while hiting the "\" key & nothing happens. I tried using "/" in…

I don't understand the automatic login. It doesn't work, never An example http://forum.hdblog.it/index.php?app=core&module=global&section=login forum (ip board..) Or Netflix

When entering the password into the browser extension/tray icon version the unlocking is quite slow. It takes about a second until I can search/select an entry and paste it into the input fields. Is this a limitation of the crypto library or speed of my computer or is it just a visual thing? If it is just visual I would like to be able to disable that, as it is rather useless and annoying (.2 seconds should be enough, it's obvious that it is unlocked as the entries are shown). - schrej

So, the thing goes like this: Enpass goes to the password recovery form, instead of loggin in to netflix. I think its because of the button placement, I'll try to show you in the image attached below. Hope you can find a workaround

Hello, I'm not quite sure if this is a bug or the expected behaviour at the moment: When I open a website on my Android phone and bring up the Enpass Keyboard to autofill the credentials, it seems that there's not chosen the one entry for the website, but I get a list of any entries that have a URL type field, regardless of what's in there. This doesn't happen if I want to autofill into an app... Any suggestions on this?

Please note that Media Portal sites have two different addresses http://www.team-mediaportal.com/ and http://forum.team-mediaportal.com/ but user and password are the same for both. Enpass, through Opera extension choose, to ask to save both in different position That's a little bit annoying Imho the best strategy to handle it is to check user, password and domain. and insert multiple url under the same entry.

I've problem with autofilling on my android with some apps. E.g. I've an account in Raiffeisen Bank, so url in Enpass is http://connect.raiffeisen.ru/rba/logout.do Also I've an app for Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.raiffeisennews the package name of app is ru.raiffeisennews So every time when I try to use AF in Enpass it says that can't find login for raiffeisennews.ru. I've added "raiffeisennews" into record name. It didn't help. I've added "raiffeisennews.ru" into the record. It didn't help also (Right name the record name is "Raiffeisen: raiffeisennews.ru". Hello! I'm new to Enpass (switched from Lastpass ) and so far everything was working really well, but now I have a problem with the Enpass extension for Google Chrome. Extension support is enabled in Enpass Desktop, connection to localhost / 127.0.0.1 is not blocked by any firewall application or AV software, but whenever I try to use the extension it shows me "Enpass connection error" and sometimes the following: If I disable the "Verify browsers" setting in Enpass, it starts working, but I think that could be security risk... I do not understand why every single Chrome app I install has to insert their entry in the context menu of web pages. Especially when they have nothing to offer on that page. Enpass is one of them. Please provide an option to remove that option. It does nothing but opens up the app which can already be done from the addon bar or taskbar. Cheers.

When you start typing in a string that matches one of your passwords in the extension popup search bar, the matched login is displayed among the search results. The search bar should be used to filter only logins/emails, and not include password fields. That's a security and privacy issue since the text you are typing is visible on your screen. Windows 10 64bit Chrome 51.0.2704.29 beta-m (64-bit) Enpass 5.2.0 The keyboard shortcut is unreliable, especially for intranet sites. I have multiple very similar intranet sites, which all get matched correctly when I manually click on the extension (only one result), but the keyboard shortcut doesn't work for about half of them. Let me know how to provide more info, as I realise this would be hard to replicate.

Hello! Since Firefox 50 (which got released today) the browsers multiprocess architecture "e10s" is supporting extensions, too. However, Enpass is being reported as "Not compatible with multiprocess" by the Addon Compatibility Reporter and is thus preventing e10s from being enabled. Do you have an update in the pipe for giving us multiprocess support? That would be great, because right now Enpass is the only extension which I'm using that prevents me from using FF in multiprocess mode

When I try to use the extension the button to generate a new password appears under Windows's toolbar, as you can see on the attached images.

After the update to version 5.3.0, the Enpass extension has been sluggish. Newly installed Enpass for myself and my wife. My Safari extension works fine but my wife safari extension does not respond at all. We have user accounts on the same Mac, the issue arises when our user accounts are both logged in at the same time. I have now tracked the problem down to when both user accounts are logged in and Enpass is loaded in both accounts. The first account to load Enpass will be able to use the Enpass extension for Safari. The second account to load Enpass will have no access at all to the safari extension. Is it possible to autofill a set of username and password fields when visiting a site without having to click the Enpass button and select the site from the listing? I'm using Chrome and the Enpass extension on OSX.

When entering a username and password for a new site not yet stored in Enpass when you receive the "Save as new login in Enpass" dialog message. If you dismiss with "Not now" is there a way to save using the extension without logging out and back in to the site for Enpass to detect? I know you can add using the PC client version but I could not find the option to manually add with the extension. I was using Firefox and I presume it would be similar for the other browser extensions.

Hello, As of recently I'm having issues autofilling some sites such as RBC and WHM/cPanel. When I go to autofill on the site I am giving with a list of items that are not for that site. If I find the item in the list it still does not autofill. I've read somewhere else that someone else was having the same issues and you mentioned that this would be fixed in the next version. I just wanted to also state that I'm having the same issue. Hopefully this gets resolved shortly. Thank you!

Trying to log into the following site: https://ecareets.opuc.on.ca/myDSM/login.asp The username is split into two boxes. In chrome, after entering all info, pressing login, the extension does not prompt to save the information. (I've noticed this on a few sites, but forgot to note the other ones) In Firefox, enpass prompts to save, however it only saves the second part of the "username" and in this case there are two boxes for the account. I tried manually addingthe record to field_account & field_occupant to my login, it didn't help.

Hello. I am using Enpass on Linux desktop with Firefox and Chrome extensions. As of recent I cannot autofill the credentials for StarMoney anymore: triggering Enpass shows some credentials, but selecting the correct one has no effect. This definitely has been working previously. As a workaround I have tried to automatically save the credentials with Enpass anew, but signing in have not triggered the credentials saving dialog.

Hello! First of all, great tool, i love it! When i try to log-in to a phpMyAdmin interface in Chrome the browser will come with a pop-up. I can't find a way to automatically let enpass fill in this form? Any thoughts about that :)...? Regards, Maico
