Feature requests

Hello! Since I upgraded macOS to the Big Sur release, Enpass starts on user login with its main window open in the center of the screen. Could you please fix it? AFAIR it used to open in the menu bar on startup, but now the main window opens as well. Thanks! Best regards, Mariusz Schimke

I was pleasantly surprised that the Linux version (Ubutnu 20.04) of Enpass is compatible with iCloud. This was not so clear to me from the manual etc. Edit 220310: On second view, it's not so compatible. The browser auto fill option doesn't work. Anyway, about all these feature requests: You often say you will take them into consideration etc. And we all understand that the developers time is limited and is first of all used for keeping up with the regular updates of os-es and fixing bugs. Currently, global search does search for text within notes, but it doesn't give any indication where the search string was found within the note, which makes it useless for large notes. An alternative would be a separate search field for notes. I've had response from Enpass back in 2018 that this feature was already on the roadmap, but it never materialised. I don't think this is very unusual use case, there are few other queries in forums requesting the same feature. Currently, to search within notes I have to edit the note, copy all text, paste to notepad, then search in there - hardly an elegant solution...

I have been using enpass for quite a time a now. I've noticed that enpass doesn't have any field for autofill info it only has URL,TEXT,2FA etc but I'd like to have an option that lets me manually add which app i want to fill my data in instead of opening the app scrolling through the passwords and associating it with the app. Example in image

Adding a second existing vault to Enpass from the cloud is a pain, especially on mobile devices. One has to insert the cloud credentials, the cloud url, and the vault password. However, I normally have all this info in one item of my primary enpass vault. I envision a feature where I can select an item within enpass and setup a second vault from this item. I would love to see Inline Autofill added to Android 11

I have a record with two file attachments. I deleted one and added a new file. The original file Enpass report that the product was "Added a few seconds ago". This is not the case. An enhancement would be to have the date when the attachment was added to the record. Another enhancement on this topic would be the ability to view the attachment rather have to save it and then view it.

Hello, I am happily using Enpass on 3 desktop systems + 2 Android devices, and sync everything by Google Drive. Every time I change something on one device, I must remember to manually sync - or just open the main app to trigger sync - on other devices in order to have changes applied locally. It would be nice if e.g. the Android app checked the cloud stored DB version every x minutes and automatically triggered the local update, so when a new password added or changed on desktop, the same would be available on mobile without having to open the main mobile app to force sync. Hello, I'm glad to switch to Enpass. Everything works perfect. But as for while Windows 10/11 comes with UI improvements. So unfortunatelly system tray icon doesn't fit Windows UI. If you look like Onedrive, dropbox, wifi, speaker etc iccons they looks right for Windows 10/11.

Hi, When you select an item for a website that has 2FA available, there's a big notification. After dismissing the notification with 'Don't save' ('Sla niet op' in the Dutch version I have here), there's seems to be no way to get it back. The site will also not be counted in the Audit page anymore. I'd still like to see which of my items could be set up with 2FA when I get around to work on it. So it would be nice if I could either Get to the list of items where 2FA could be set using the Audit page Or have an option somewhere to reset all my 2FA notification dismissals Thanks for considering.

Ability to share password with enpass users within the app.

Dear Developer, recently i noticed some new feature idea in enpass app, i'm using enpass on android and i noticed that i have using different Desktops and PC while access password so, its so complicated for me to copy the password and paste in website and its not possible to install enpass on every desktop and in every laptop or chrome extension on every extension so can you add feature in web access on enpass that can make me access and copy my all pass word via just one QR code scanning on web so i can every time connect enpass android and iOs app via QR code or via secirity key.. and i can disconnect view feature on web via just one click and i also add search ba…

Even if you show the password of an entry in "Big Mode" font size is really small. I would appreciate if there is a way to show password even bigger, maybe customer could define font size in settings etc.

If a search for URL fails on autofill, Enpass shows the full list of all my passwords. Please show my favorites on top there instead on A, B, C... on top. Favorites are just shown if I open the full app, they also should be shown in the autofill list. see app view and autofill list here below. App view shows favorites and password autofill needs the favorites on top (this feature request)

It would be awesome if you could select / show all entries with a specific tag in the browser extension (in chrome), as they enable an easy way to organize and group elements without messing with categories.

Hello, My feature request: please also sync Enpass app settings among the credentials. I have to reset all the settings (lock timeout, PIN code, autofill, auto-submit) whenever I reinstall Enpass (strangely enough, it happens quite often). It would be nice to have these settings synced. PS: I hope this feature request has not been posted yet, I haven't found anything similar in the forum. Thanks

Noticed this morning that my options for fields to search in the desktop app are: Title Fields Passwords ...and that adding a unique tag to an entry would not allow that entry to show up when searched for. On the Linux desktop app, version 6.7.4 (933) This feels more like a bug than an RFE.

I have seen some other password managers being able to change password with one click. Please try to implement this Example: Dashlane password changer

One feature I like on 1password is that whenever you change a password, you can see the previous changes done on an entry. Allowing you to see previous passwords I have not seen this on enpass. Is this a planned feature?

Have a "reveal" / "show" password would drastically help to type the master passwords. It is really a pain not having this basic option !

hello, i was wondering if there would be an possible workaround to store the same password in different safes without showing it twice or more. Why? Cause we use enpass-app to collaborate passwords in different teams, so each team holds a sprerate safe to store them. Sometimes different teams store the same password, so editing one, means edit it twice or more times in all safes.

I would like to be able to choose a custom icon for my groups and I would like to be able to arbitrary reorder them. Thanks

I would like to suggest to add several buttons to the extension menu. It will be really nice that we could directly copy password/TOTP and email address in the extension menu instead of clicking information to access in a subpage. The reason is that in some website autofill has some problems, with these buttons the workflow will be much better. One of the example is Bitwarden's interface. I'm aware of the shortcut, but it is not as handy as the buttons.
