Hello Enpassians!

Today, we're thrilled to release Enpass Beta v6.7 with one of the most awaited features- Wi-Fi Sync. This feature lets you sync data across devices using the local network or Wi-Fi, without using any third-party cloud service. For more information, please check out the Wi-Fi Sync webpage.

Along with Wi-Fi Sync, the update brings some improvements and bug fixes. Check out the complete changelog:

Getting beta versions

• iOS (via TestFlight): Our beta subscribers can install the latest beta updates from the TestFlight app.
• Android (via Play Store): Beta versions can be installed directly from the Google Play Store by joining our open beta program by clicking Become a Tester.
• Windows – Store version (via Package Flight): Our beta subscribers can install the latest beta updates from the Windows Store.
• Windows – Website version (.exe setup): Download and install the beta from here.
• macOS  – Website version (.pkg): Download and install the beta from here.
• Linux (64-bit distributions only): Download and install the beta from here.

To test the Wi-Fi Sync across different platforms, you will need their respective beta versions as well. Check out our Beta Program for all platforms.

Hey everyone,

We are pleased to announce that a beta release for the next version of Enpass i.e. 6.4 is now available for all supported platforms - Android, iOS, macOS, Windows and Linux.

The latest beta release comes packed with enhancements, bug fixes and performance improvements. Our goal in the newest version is to improve the auto-fill functionality as well as provide users with the much awaited OneDrive for Business cloud sync.

What's New:

• Support for OneDrive for Business: Enpass now supports vault sync with Microsoft OneDrive Business. 
• Reveal password(desktop): As requested by many users, we are adding a keyboard shortcut for displaying the passwords for a particular item by pressing Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+H while viewing the item detail window.

Fixes:

• Enhanced Autofill: Your favourite feature, Enpass auto-fill, is now better than before.
• Tag update was not triggering the auto-sync. 
• Improved performance for the items listing making it faster to load the items.
• Option to dismiss the registration reminder for Pro/Premium users.

i am using enpass 6.0.0 (220) on my Mac (Mojave) - and i am using enpass 6.0.6.200 on my android phone.

I have both set to use the 'primary' vault on my google drive - and they both have 515 items (so the data has loaded correctly for both).

however, when i make a change to something in my android -> it doesn't sync to my mac; and visa versa: so now they are getting out of whack, and i'm not sure where all the differences are?

Occasionally I will get a sync error (code 904007 being the most common). The error is transient in that after a short while the sync succeeds.

It seems more frequent on Android than Windows.

E.g. I have a login entry with a username starting with appdev... When I search for it, Enpass does not find it. When I search for the title, it will be found.

Before you ask, YES, search in every field in the settings is checked ;-)

It's a kind of mystery... maybe a index or caching problem ?

How did this happen if they are both Beta installs and syncing to Onedrive?  How do I check both files for differences and then merge the desired differences into 1 file going forward?

Will Enpass 6 (on Android) be covered by a lifetime license for Enpass 5 or what do we have to expect? Does lifetime mean lifetime of Enpass 5 (which is pretty much over now) or lifetime of Enpass as a whole (Including 6, 7 ...)?

I'm using the Enpass 6.0.0 beta for macOS but there's a rather strange issue that's making it unuseable on my machine. Whenever I try to use the browser extension (tested with Chrome and Firefox, same results) nothing happens for a while and then a new tab opens saying "Looking for the Enpass app" and "If prompted, please grant permission to the browser in the pop-up to launch Epass." If Enpass is already running the tab closes after a while and nothing further happens. However when I quit Enpass and let the extension open it (by clicking the button in the browser) I am able to use it exaclty once from within the browser (the popup opens when I click the extension button a second time) but the popup doesn't know what page I am currently on so it can't provide usefull autofill information. It just opens the same way as if I clicked the taskbar icon. When I try to open the popup again the same tab as before opens and nothing happens afterwards.

Do you know what causes this issue/can you repoduce it/are you aware of it?

When you create a new template, it is being put under the right category

I created a category and I can't see it in the new imported vault

- if you have the same  website with different login names which you like to store in two seperate vaults, it does not ask to be saved when it is already saved in another vault.

- When manually adding this in the second vault, it does NOT ask for the password of the second vault on login.

Maybe you guys need to add an "add to vault button"

Whilst there is a workaround of adding 127.0.0.1 to the web filtering exceptions this is only applicable to Sophos Home, and isn't available to those who have Sophos centrally managed by their IT department.

The firefox extension for Enpass 5.6.9 worked fine on the same set-up so the problem appears to be related to some change made to how extensions work in Enpass 6.

I cannot use any browser extension on my computer anymore i keep getting "Enpass assistant is unable to connect with the Enpass app"

What have I done to try and solve this in chrome

• Reinstall Chrome plugin
• Enable / disable browser plugin in enpass
• Reinstall Chrome
• Reinstall Enpass
• Remove “.sync”and “.settings” in my enpass folder
• Reboot
• Full cleanup of enpass and chrome including manual cleanup ( Registry entries, folders, appdata...)

Tried Edge but i get the same error...

Chrome Plugin: 6.0.0.56

Any advice on how to solve this?

How can I sync between 2 Windows PCs and an Android device running Enpass 6 Beta via my own Nextcloud?

When attempted to sync for the first time, I get error code 908500. This seems to be a problem when it creates the Enpass6-Beta subdirectory.

I can work around this step, by manually creating the Enpass6-Beta directory on the server, in which case the initial sync seems to work (and a file vault.enpassdbsync gets created under Enpass6-Beta).

However, subsequent attempts to sync fail with error code 0.

I have replicated this in both the latest Windows desktop client, and Android client.

When an item gets copied or moved from one vault to another, the item loses all assigned tags. The tags remain useless in the source vault.

Tested on platform: macOS High Sierra, Enpass 6.0.0.220

I've tried to import an Enpass 5.6.9 backup file in Enpass 6.00 (72). Some items are missing after restore.

I've 515 items in Enpass 5 and 492 in Enpass 6 after restore.
