I have put this issue into support but they have been less than helpful. I responded to their original question but have not have received an update for over a month. First and foremost this is not an issue with the Android App this only affect Mac, Windows 10 & Linux desktop client. Here are the answers that I gave support. I have enabled the feature to ask for storing passwords when logging into a new site. But after that popup, has show, my click function in Chrome seems to be broken. I need to double click on all links to activate a click. At a certain point, this issue solves itself and I can just use a single click again. This issue seems to happen after Enpass asks to store the user credentials after login. on ver 10.12.3 Like others I get "Enpass Connection Error", but after much messing around, and it was previously working, i found disabling my Proxy/VPN (built like this https://300m.com/privacy/setting-up-a-simple-vpn-server/) I get it to work, maybe I need to add some exception to the proxy, but would be better if it worked through it.

Hello: Overall, super happy with Enpass. The biggest frustration I've noticed (and I'm surprised I couldn't find a similar topic...) is the user experience when entering my master password to unlock the browser extension. As a developer, I'm very quick with the keyboard, and I've noticed that when I use the cmd+/ shortcut to bring up the browser extension then immediately start typing my master password, if I start typing too soon, it will highlight what I've already typed causing the next keystroke to replace the existing text. I'm usually not paying that close of attention, but the net result is that nearly every first attempt at entering my master password fails.…

Hi, thanks for a great tool. But since i upgraded enpass to 5.5.0 i can't export my vault into a txt nor csv file anymore. Enpass crashes and thats it. My operating system is OSX Mavericks. Retina late 2012, i5 8gb ram. Thanks and have a nice evening.

For the last couple of versions of Enpass I've not been able to synchronise using iCloud. I am mainly using 1Password at the moment, but want to switch away as I'm preparing for possible future upgrade costs, and/or having to use their subscription model at some point. I've tried multiple times to uninstall and reinstall Enpass, as well as tried various settings in firewalls, all to no avail. Although 1Password does sync fine. I get Enpass Connection error advising to enable browser extension in preferences. I followed the instruction and Enpass still won't work. Disabled/re-enabled the extension, reinstalled the extension, same problem. Enpass works fine on same PC with Safari. For one, the menu options don't match the docs. Hi all, I just started using Enpass on my Mac and my Nexus 6. I sync using Google Drive. This all seems to work well. The only catch is that I end up with multiple Enpass folders in my Google Drive folder, and even multiple "sync_default.walletx" files in a single Enpass folder. As long as Enpass knows which is the latest file, I guess it doesn't really matter, but it makes a mess of my Google Drive folder. On the Mac the folders are all numbered, like "Enpass (5)". If there's more than one Enpass file, they're named like "sync_default (1).walletx". On my Nexus 6, all files all of the folders have the same name, as do multiple sync_default files. When I add a new item (say, a login), on completion I see that it has been added automatically to almost all of the folders I've created. It should actually be added to none of them. What folders an item belongs in is up to me, I would think. It's not a convenience to have to go through and remove the item from all of the incorrect folders. It wouldn't be as bad if there was a way I could edit the folders an item is in, but there isn't. I just added an item and then had to go through and remove it from ten folders. On a Macbook Air. When I also download Enpass to mobile devices, I am given the choice of being a new user with no ID, or restoring my info. How do I sign in with my new credentials? I want to import my data from iPin to Enpass. Many vendors are listed but not mine. Am I out of luck?

Hi, Enpass (newest 5.3 version from App Store) grills my MacBook (without fans) and runs 100%. WTF!!! I bought the iOS version to have all my passwords in sync over my WebDAV server. This is what 1p doesn't deliver. But the behavior of Enpass on my MacBook makes me angry, your app ruin my MacBook!! Doesn't matter if it was running on El Capitan (latest) or now Sierra GM. I just forgot the exit Enpass before going into Standby and let run my MacBook nearly 20h(!!!) at 100% CPU. I have the problem since day 1 with Enpass (2-3 weeks ago). Please fix this ASAP. The Safari Extension (Safari Version 9.1 (11601.5.17.1)) does not open; Sometimes only while Enpass is started it has any function, without not. I can push the button but nothing happens. When I start the user account it works, a few minutes later not any more. The bowser extension in preferences is activated. Mac OS 10.11.4 El Capitan

Is it possible to change the field names for all records at once? Even editing at a database level instead of the GUI perhaps? For example, if I wanted to change the name "Url" to "URL" without doing that manually for the 300+ records I have in Enpass, how would I do that? If it isn't possible, then I guess I'll create a related feature request.

Hi community, i am using Enpass on Mac/Win and Android for a while now. I started of with a imported dataset, originating from Keepass. Because of this background my database contains alot of entrys which do not contain any information about their type. All imported entrys show up in the "All objects" view. Every new item i add via the "+" - icon is sorted automatically into the pre-existing categorys. What i want to do: Convert / Enrich the mentioned imported entrys to make use of the automatic category sorting. I would prefer to just set the type on an existing entry instead of making a completely new entry via "+" - icon and copy paste the data in there. …

Hi There: I am wondering if this can be fixed or I should not put Dock at right. The extension on macOS will always stick to rightmost of screen. When you using system Dock on the right. I cannot click the rightmost button like "copy password", "info", which is very annoying. Can you add code to detect the rightmost of working viewport(Desktop/host application like chrome, firefox) instead of rightmost of screen?

Hello Forum, This is for me not just an update of the operating system, but I rather check the software, with which I worked for 5 years. Now I have 1Password for more than 5 years and I liked more or less. Now I try Enpass as an alternative. I have as my data of 1Password ertsmal exported and then imported into Enpass. Unfortunately I am missing in Enpass important information, which I had stored in 1Password! For example, in 1Password, there is a field "location" that does not take into account when importing. Hello, first of all thanks for this wonderful piece of software. Yesterday Enpass stopped syncing with Dropbox. The sync button is red. Status: There went something wrong with synchronizing. (Error code: -119) I tried removing the dropbox account and reconnecting and it seemed to solve the problem at first. I am using OS X El Capitan 10.11.6, with the latest version of Enpass 5.3.0. Any ideas? Edit: On my Windows 10 machine the sync is working perfectly fine and on the Mac, Dropbox is also working.

I have a Mac running El Capitan. I have installed Enpass, desktop version, on the Mac. I am running Chrome 53 and the Enpass icon is greyed out. If I click on the icon, I get a Enpass connection error. The setting "Enabled browser extensions" is already checked and "verify browsers" is checked as well. In Chrome the extension is enabled as well. How do I fix this problem?

After upgrading to Sierra GM, Enpass Extension say I should open Enpass app even it is running and the Extension doesn't work. This is on my Mac mini at work. At home I also upgraded my MacBook to Sierra GM and here it is working (but grill it - see it on another post). On the same Mac mini, Chrome and Firefox Extension works. How can I reset Enpass completely?

Hi, I'm trying to setup sync with enpass on my mac 10.7.5 laptop. After succesfully authorizing enpass to my dropbox (Authorization Finished Please continue with Enpass application.) I get the following error: Not able to connect to Dropbox. Please check internet connectivity. My internet connection is most definitely up, tried with and without firewalls, multiple browsers, also both enpass connections settings ('No proxy server and 'system proxy server'). Even tried the same with box.com All without success... any pointers would be great!

When I go to a site's login page, it seems that the the browser plugin always shows me two entries. This seems to be happening on entries that I have imported from another Password Manager and these entries have two urls in them for the same domain (although they have different port numbers). Example 1: I have one entry that has the following urls: example.com:1234 example.com and I will see two entries when I am at example.com (port 80). I notice that the 'sync' icon is always in the 'busy' state and never seems to actually: 'be synced'. This is possibly because I have a really bad network connection, that is always going up and down... However, the app never seems to 'time out' and retry a sync. If I quit the app and reopen it and enter my Master Password, it seems to sync properly and I see a refresh button. However, if close my lid and go to another location with a different WiFi network, I'll see the 'busy' sync again... .. and no, new passwords do not propagate to my mobile device when it's in this mode. I'm using v5.2.1
