	I recently tried to install enpass from the flathub and found a problem where the extension cannot connect to the enpass installed. I tried playing around with Flatseal but can't figure out what the issue is. I did eventually install it using the instructions provided by Enpass, but the instructions is outdated and I have to modify the instructions to use the new DEB822 format.

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I have the problem that Enpass doesn't synchronise with the tresor in Nextcloud.
</p>

<p>
	I set everything as usual, using my password, but it doesn't work. I attached some screeshots.
</p>

<p>
	I don't know when this happened, but it worked before, with the same credentials. I can access Nextcloud without any problems via browser.
</p>

<p>
	It is not the password, I checked it 100 times.
</p>

<p>
	Since I paid for this app and I rebooted my desktop system and lost a lot of passwords or can't access them now, I am not very happy about that.

<p>
	Hi,
</p>

<p>
	I've been using Enpass for at least 5 years (I think) - several platforms and always loved it. About 3 weeks ago it spontaneously stopped running on my desktop, won't launch at all from command line or from the whisker launcher, and the browser plugins don't do anything. Working fine on windows and android.
</p>

<ol><li>
		Tried uninstalling &amp; re-installing (twice): <span style="background-color:#ffffff;color:#353c41;font-size:14px;"><a href="https://www.enpass.io/support/kb/general/how-to-install-enpass-on-linux/" rel="external nofollow">https://www.enpass.io/support/kb/general/how-to-install-enpass-on-linux/</a>  <span>:: </span></span>immediately after install I get taken through the dialogue to restore data from dropbox (the authorisation page failed at first both times which it never has before). Then the next time I try to launch the app it fails as above.
	</li>
	<li>
		Tried installing Enpass Portable (into a new folder in my PATH) but that didn't work at all - maybe I'll try it on an external USB.
	</li>
	<li>
		looked at these forums  ... <a href="https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/19359-is-enpass-still-availble-for-linux/&amp;tab=comments#comment-32741" rel="">https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/19359-is-enpass-still-availble-for-linux/&amp;tab=comments#comment-32741</a> and <a href="https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/19302-xubuntu-64-bit-2004/" rel="">https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/19302-xubuntu-64-bit-2004/</a> tried the suggestions but a bit alarmed to see that neither thread seemed to be resolved.
	</li>
</ol><p>
	I'm looking for any help at all to get this fixed please - I love enpass, there isn't ANY other password manager I'd trust - but this is unusable. In case it helps some info below.
</p>

	Hello,
</p>

<p>
	I'm using Firefox 128 on Linux (SuSE Tumbleweed). I noticed problems when the Enpass Browser Extension for Firefox (Version 6.9.4.2) is active.
</p>

<p>
	Example: Website <a href="https://www.geocaching.com" rel="external nofollow">https://www.geocaching.com</a> (requires registration)
</p>

<p>
	With the extension active I noticed several modifications of the page, some of them make it unusable.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Example 1:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileext="png" data-fileid="5154" href="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_1.png.a5dd907f71de5b6007423beb7468807c.png" rel=""><img alt="example_1.thumb.png.44e806e2ce4a62544ec86356aec3f326.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="5154" width="1000" src="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_1.thumb.png.44e806e2ce4a62544ec86356aec3f326.png" loading="lazy" height="290"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Left picture: extension enabled, right picture: extension disabled
</p>

<p>
	I clicked on the edit button (pencil) to edit the coordinates of a geocache. With the extension enabled nothing happens, when I click the button. With the extension disabled a windows pops up allowing me to enter other coordinates.
</p>

<p>
	For some geocaches it is required to change the coordinates. As a can't do this with the extension enabled I can't save new coordinates for the geocache.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Example 2:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileext="png" data-fileid="5155" href="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_2.png.7f811565fcc5b3a2e20f6ebc8fa68248.png" rel=""><img alt="example_2.thumb.png.62894261d8b32aab6f8862ec0e41bdc9.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="5155" width="1000" src="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_2.thumb.png.62894261d8b32aab6f8862ec0e41bdc9.png" loading="lazy" height="400"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Left picture: extension enabled, right picture: extension disabled
</p>

<p>
	To check new coordinates I can enter them in the field above and press "Check Solution". This requires to check "Ich bin kein Roboter" (I'm not a robot) for the reCAPTCHA. However, with the extension enabled I don't get the reCAPTCHA at all. Entering coordinates and pressing "Check Solution" with the extension enabled just leads to an error message "Recaptcha validation failed.". No chance to check the coordinates. With the extension disabled the CAPTCHA appears.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Example 3:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileext="png" data-fileid="5156" href="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_3.png.0eab9695bf18cc7c1418416f6fef9d67.png" rel=""><img alt="example_3.thumb.png.6a629b20139ebfb69bf0240cf5629de1.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="5156" width="1000" src="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_3.thumb.png.6a629b20139ebfb69bf0240cf5629de1.png" loading="lazy" height="340"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Left picture: extension enabled, right picture: extension disabled
</p>

<p>
	With the extension enabled I have to click on "View all logs" to see the log entries. Firefox then loads the log page and I can see the logs, but have to use the Back button to get back to the cache. Without the extension log entries are visible at the end of the page.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	<strong>Example 4:</strong>
</p>

<p>
	<a class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image" data-fileext="png" data-fileid="5157" href="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_4.png.e593d503f3bca1d75b6b9763c80e04f5.png" rel=""><img alt="example_4.thumb.png.4d8f57fdd8a2a1053da959a386a439ac.png" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="5157" width="1000" src="https://discussion.enpass.io/uploads/monthly_2024_08/example_4.thumb.png.4d8f57fdd8a2a1053da959a386a439ac.png" loading="lazy" height="200"></a>
</p>

<p>
	Left picture: extension enabled, right picture: extension disabled
</p>

<p>
	With the extension enabled I don't see the map with the location of the geocache. With the extension disabled Firefox loads a map.
</p>

<p>
	All these problems only show up in Firefox, which is my main browser. In Chrome, the page loads without any problems although the Chrome extension is active.
</p>

<p>
	Is there a way to tell the extension to not modify web pages (at least selected)? I haven't found an option in Firefox to disallow the extension to modify web pages.
</p>

<p>
	Regards,
</p>

<p>
	Oliver

	On Linux Mint 22.1 (MATE), enpass assistant does not remember my search term whenever it loses focus. Here are the steps to better explain and also to help reproduce the issue:
</p>

<ol>
	<li>
		Open enpass assistant and enter password
	</li>
	<li>
		Search for an entry using text search (for example: "Amazon")
	</li>
	<li>
		Right-click on an entry and choose "Copy Email" (for an example)
	</li>
	<li>
		Paste the email into a login form. At this point, enpass assistant loses focus and disappears from my screen
	</li>
	<li>
		Click on the enpass assistant icon in the linux system tray / dock before the auto-lock time period expires
	</li>
	<li>
		Enpass assistant opens, but the search term "Amazon" is missing and the entry I searched for is now gone and I have to search again.
	</li>
</ol>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	This makes it difficult to copy / paste both the email and the password in succession. Ideally it would remember the search term until the auto-lock time period expires.
</p>

<p>
	For me personally, this falls into the category of "bug" and not "feature request", but please let me know.
</p>

<p>
	Thank you!

	Hi,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	an Enpass dialog window came up a few days ago, requesting to give permission to Telegram to access Enpass. I declined the request, obviously and asked about this in a Telegram github issue opened by other user with the same experience. They denied that Telegram can do that and they invited me to ask here. But anyway I'm bit suspicious about this at the moment.
</p>

<p>
	Is it possible that Enpass incorrectly detects something as an incoming connection from a plugin? Does Enpass developers have some possible explanation to this? Is there any public documentation about the communication protocol between the plugin and Enpass? I would like to study myself how this could have been happened.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Thanks in advance.

	<strong>Issue</strong>
</p>

<p>
	After setting a location for automatic backups in Enpass Desktop, changing that directory moves <strong>all files in the previous backup path, including those not related to Enpass</strong>, to the new path.
</p>

<p>
	This behavior is not documented or reported in the app, resulting in potential data loss of data not related to Enpass.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Environment</strong>
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Fedora 41 (x86_64)
	</li>
	<li>
		KDE Plasma 6
	</li>
	<li>
		Enpass Desktop 6.11.6.1833, installed via yum repo
	</li>
</ul>

<p>
	<strong>Steps to reproduce</strong>
</p>

<ol>
	<li>
		In Enpass Desktop, open the hamburger menu and select Settings.
	</li>
	<li>
		Select the Backup tab.
	</li>
	<li>
		Note the path listed as the backup location, and enable <strong>Backup Automatically</strong> if not already enabled.
	</li>
	<li>
		Place files unrelated to Enpass in the backup location path.
	</li>
	<li>
		Select <strong>Change Location</strong> and set a different path for backups.
	</li>
</ol>

<p>
	<strong>Expected behavior</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Enpass moves <strong>only</strong> the files related to Enpass backups to the new path.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Observed behavior</strong>
</p>

<p>
	Enpass moves <strong>all</strong> files in the backup location path to the new path.
</p>

<p>
	<strong>Problematic use case</strong>
</p>

<p>
	A user who initially selects the same path for Enpass backups that they use for other backups, such as sensitive information, documents, or system backups, then creates a new directory for Enpass backups and changes Enpass's backup location to this new path. <strong>Enpass then begins moving the user's sensitive non-Enpass backups into the new path, without confirmation or warning</strong>.
</p>

<ul>
	<li>
		Enpass becomes unresponsive during the operation, and killing the process prematurely can lead to potential data loss of non-Enpass backups.
	</li>
	<li>
		If the destination path is a network share, disconnecting the network share during the operation can lead to potential data loss of non-Enpass backups.
	</li>
</ul>

	After install, Enpass ask for setup a synchronization. Here i choose "WebDav" (which works on all other machines), and enter the credentials for the webdav server.
</p>

<p>
	Then Enpass wrote that it has found a vault in the webdav-folder and i should provide the master-password. But here, it says always "Wrong password".
</p>

<p>
	I have entered this password in a textfile, so i can see it, and tested the same password with the synchronization on the other machine (works!), so it is proved, that the password is correkt.
</p>

<p>
	Same behaviour if i try to restore a backup or use a wifi-sync-server.
</p>

<p>
	I'm out of ideas.
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Does someone have a idea, what else i can do?
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	Best Regards
</p>

	Hi,
</p>

<p>

</p>

<p>
	I have a small problem with my desktop client in Linux. I have a vault in Onedrive (personal account) and it shows a message that says that the session is expired (see attachments). The process to authenticate/re-authenticate seems to be working fine, but when it returns to Enpass, the error message stays there.
</p>

<p>
	I use the same vault from a Windows client and it works fine without any odd messages. I made some tests and at least one time the Linux client got a change made in the Windows client. But I had to try to sync manually. I made a bunch of changes in my Linux client, but none of them made to the Windows client.
</p>

<p>
	I have another vault with Dropbox and it works and synchronizes without problems.
</p>

<p>
	In other Linux computer I have the same problem.<br>
	<br>
	Enpass Linux client v.6.10.1.1661<br>
	System: Manjaro Linux. Client installed from <a href="https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/enpass-bin" rel="external nofollow">AUR</a> (uses the enpass official DEB client package).
</p>
