The new enpass version brought an awesome feature allowing to add my custom icons. However it doesn't work seamlessly so far. I've been struggling for a short while to add custom icons, since it's not known the exact size that is required for the program (for those who is looking as well, i ended up on 256x256). That is annoying, but not very crucial. The really bad thing is that i can't find how to remove items i've added while figuring it out, so now i have a number of corrupted icons in my set. How can i get rid of them?

Hi.. i've been using enpass for a few years now on my android and windows... but recently my phone died on me..and i had to ask my friend for his pc. I opened up the incognito and suddenly realized that i cant use enpass on web.. even for the chrome extension i need to sign in on chrome and then also need to have running full windows app on that pc.. I just cant do all those things on a stranger's pc.. So what would be the best and easiest option for me in such situation ..apart from keeping my phone charged haha.. I hope somebody could help me... THanks !!

Hello, I use the free version of enpass since about three years. My System: 32 bit; Windows 7 Professional Enpass Version in use: 5.6.10 / available for update: 6.0.2 When I try to make the update it says: failed, it was not able to get update informations. Be sure, that your internetconnection is working and try again. (See the attachements) -> Internet is working. My browser works. As I have no virus Scanner, it can not be the virus scanner, who makes trouble. It can not be my Fireware. When I shut down it, it also does not work. Can you help me please?

Hi, Why do I have multiple enpass icons in my Windows 10 system tray (see attached). How do I fix this? thanks.

I uninstalled my Enpass windows 10 laptop app and deleted the folders on my system because I forgot my master password. Luckily, the master password on my mobile Enpass app was different so I haven't lost all my passwords. Big relief. I've reinstalled the desktop app and chosen a new master password. What I need to know is how to sync between the desktop app and mobile app. I assume you just set it to sync to onedrive but until I get reassurance, I don't want to take the chance that the mobile app will sync to the empty vault of the desktop app thus wiping all my passwords.

In some cases when I generate a new password with my desktop client, the password does not appear in the history of generated passwords. I am using the latest version of the client 6.0.2 (204)

Hello, I use Enpass at home (Windows 10 Pro) and also sync my vault to OneDrive. At work we have Windows 7 and there I have a separate user account. There is also no OneDrive App installed. I plan to use Enpass also at work but I did not test this yet. How can I access my vault (that is stored at OneDrive) from work? At work I can access OneDrive via the web browser. Any hints for me? Since the major update, the top row of icons is hidden under the window's title bar. The product is now unusable. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times... How can I fix this?

Hi, since the update for version 6 Enpass always crashes without any reason, I thought. Today I releazied that chrome always chrashes when I use the chrome extension. The understand this: - unlock enpass - open Chrome and go to a website - open the Enpassextention with the hotkey (doesn't matter if you have a login for this page or not) - now the searchfield should have the coursor in it. - press the "arrow down" key on the keyboard (the cursor should disappear from the search field - press enter - on my pc Enpass ALWAYS crashes in this moment! When will you release bug fix versions for Windows? I am currently on 6.0.2 and experience some problems which you have recognized and written will be fixed in the next version.

Applied the update today ... Now Enpass has been removed from Taskbar ... and if I go to Start>Enpass nothing happens. Please advise This is second time in recent weeks that an upgrade has caused issues - are they being fully tested before release?

Despite checking the Open Automatically at System Startup, the traditional Windows version of Enpass does not open at start up. The store version works fine. I've also found the registry entry which the store version creates to Open enpass at startup, and can see this being created and removed when changing the option in the store version settings. However, when trying to change the settings in the traditional version, no registry entry is created\removed. Matthew

Is there any way, that I can install Enpass 6 without administrator priviliges on a computer at work? I did test-drives with Dashlane and 1Password, but ultimately decided to go with Enpass - it provides all the features, that I want and need. Interestingly enough, Dashlane and 1Password could be installed on a work-computer running Win7Pro without problems, but Enpass was blocked because of the need for Admin installation priviliges. How comes? Can you change the installation routine, somehow? Hello, I can't find a newer version of Enpass portbale for Windows in the enpass web site. The last version that I downloaded was v5.6.9. The current version for Windows (not portable) is v6.0.4. Has the portable version of Enpass been discontinued?. I'll appreciate your comments. Thank you.

Hi I've setup TOTP on a couple of accounts and it works fine on one machine and my phone, but on another phone it always says the code is wrong. Has anyone else noticed this issue? Rich

When i start a search in enpass 6.04 the app hang then it take 10 or more seconds before i see results.

Hi, I have a problem with the installation of my enpass firefox extension. It just doesn't work. It's not possible to connect the App with the extension. It didn't work with version from the microsoft store and it didn't work with the version from the website (see below). I don't know what to do. For me the app is quite useless without the extension. The Identical Audit groups the Items by password. In each group you would expect to find at least 2 items. Howecver, I have a few cases where the group contains only 1 item. Moreover, using the search facility to search by password across all vaults, only finds that one item with that specific password. So it would appear that there are false entries in the Identical Audit list. Also, having run a pwned check, I change the passwords of those accounts which had been marked pwned. Hello, I faced a very disturbing issue. The TOTP code generated by the Windows 10 app and the one on the mobile app (iOS) are different. The one on the Windows 10 app is wrong. I checked with a few different credentials that I have with TOTP, and it was the case every single time. Windows 10 version: 6.0.4 iOS version: 6.0.4 (222) I would suggest a quick fix, this can be very frustrating/infuriating to get around. Still, the new version of enpass is awesome ! Cheers !

Hi, I have Enpass 6.0 on Windows 8.1 laptop. When I go to some of the websites,, they have those secret questions like Mothers name, City Born, etc. Now, how do I keep track of these secret questions in Enpass and how can those entries be autofilled from Enpass when I am in the website? Thanks.

I have notes that are very large. It would be nice to have a search option to search inside of the note I'm looking at that highlights the searched word or phrase.

I right click a field and select "History." I'm shown as many historical entries as will fit in the window, but I can't scroll to older ones. I can maximize the window to see a few more, but I have a long list of history and I need to select older values. Win7 and Win10 have same problem.

Hi there, I'm getting reoccurring sync errors (both in my private LAN and at work). I've tried to sync via WebDAV on my private RasPi. With version 5 that worked flawlessly. But since version 6 I'm was always facing troubles. So I decided to switch to DropBox. But there I'm facing the same issue! From time to time I get the following error (see screenshot): Sync error. Something went wrong while syncing with cloud. Error code: 215993 Then I need to stop Enpass via Windows task manager and restart the application. When enpass is running and usb flash disk or external memory card reader are plugged in i always get "No Disk" message box that comes from enpass somehow. Quitting enpass makes error not come up any more. Message box screenshot attached. Please help to solve this.
