  1. Yeah, this was a bit of a botched roll-out. Things don't always go smoothly with betas (the price you pay for helping test software), but this one has been rough. At some point they have to test the process of upgrading from the current public version, to be sure it goes smoothly for people who are not part of the beta. This appears to be that test. (Having said that, Enpass 5 is actually prompting users of the production version to upgrade to this beta — which is definitely not ready for those users! I hope the Enpass team is ready for an influx of upset support tickets — I feel bad for you guys!)

  2. Hello, I installed this last version with TestFlight. But I had to uninstall everything about enpass... And then this beta ask me to re-purchased to unlock the 20-things limitation... I had to uninstall, download again Enpass5, and overwrite it with this beta to get it working without limitations... For now it's working... But with my mac, my windows computer and my iPhone, it was a pain in the ass to get all working together and synching with dropbox without problems... (and still Chrome extension doesn't work... but it's for another topic this problem...) You should have made the transfert more friendly...

  3. With the mandatory file change and no WM10 support, I can't go through the beta. How do I get out of the beta program? I'd hate to have my local app updated, upgrade my files, then lose the ability to sync w/ my phone.

  4. Beware that the repo changed. So you may have to update your apt.sources.

  5. Yes, that's the old beta and is not compatible for syncing.

  7. Hi, Apologies for the trouble. We are aware of some issues in the sync functionality and are working to get everything back up and running again normally ASAP. We appreciate your patience while we work through this. Thanks.

  8. Okay Guys, I'm happy to see a new version of Enpass. I like it very much so far. Is this the thread where I can post problems with beta? There is still no bug tracker I'm on Android 7.1 and updated from latest stable to 6.0.0.91 from Playstore. Seems like the automatic (I think there is one) database transition is not working, at least for me. App is doing something (spinner is spinning), then app is crashing after a new start I have to give my master password but there are no entries in the standard vault I can't find a option to manually import my old V5 database so there is a empty enpass for me UPDATE BREAKER A manual Import option is missing For me it feels like there should be an option in Settings -> Vaults -> vaultName -> Import Vault info should probably show some file name on sync target(??) A option to override the device language and use english would be very cool - now I stuck in german Desktop app 6.0.0 (149) (Fedora linux) is still using the Enpass6-Beta directory so I can't test the sync

  9. I uninstalled/reinstalled, same problem. I uninstalled, installed v5 from the App Store, then reinstalled v6Beta from TestFlight and it worked. It didn't ask me to restore purchases, it just had the Pro license in place. As my Google Drive backup was from the Mac beta, it synchronized fine.

  10. Did you previously have Enpass 5 installed on that machine with a different password? That’s the one you should enter there, since installing the new beta automatically migrates Enpass 5 data.

  11. Hey @Philip, Sorry for the trouble you are going through. Chrome web store does not allow two different channels (beta and production) for same extension, so we have to publish beta as a separate extension. Please install the beta Enpass browser extension for Chrome browser from this link and let me know if the problem persists. Thanks!

  12. I also can not connect the Windows client to Chrome extension. Also the app itself is WAY more slowly/buggy than the previous release. I jut hope I can get my data out of this mess and switch to Bitwarden.

  13. I am REALLY pissed off at this. Honestly, how dare you force me into a beta situation. I RELY on my password vault across my PCs, tablets, and phone 10s of times per day and I need to working 100% reliably. Now, you decide to forgo the previous side-by-side beta experience (a good way to do it) and force everyone into your beta?? I appreciate you want to put out the best version of the product on release and thus it probably made sense in your minds to pull in more users to beta test, but FORCING us into your beta test program with no way to decline or opt-out is simply unforgivable. I had always been a strong advocate of Enpass over other solutions like Lastpass but this behaviour by you will make me never in good faith recommend your product again.
