  1. DO NOT BUY ENPASS !!! This shitty app doesn't work and the support is screwing us all - and has been for years. Anyone reading this who hasn't bought Enpass yet - don't. The app is absolute crap. One employee said in August that the error would be corrected. Then a desperate user asks now (6 months later) and a other employee is asking the same questions about the used version again. Please don't tell me to reconnect the vaults, reinstall the app and restore the vaults from backup. I've done this 10 times already. And again and again the synchronization stops working after a few days (or just a few hours). And please don't write that you forward this to your "concerned team". I think that's what your garbage can is called. It's real crap support.

  2. I have the impression that the Enpass team is sleeping. Almost nothing happens here. No bug fixes, no promised changes take place, no updates and no real improvements for a long time. The developers will only talk and that the fee will be collected every month... Some examples: Where are the common templates? Why I can't still create templates from entries? Why hasn't the bug with the ghost sections that cannot be deleted been fixed for more than 6 months? Why Enpass is working with a PIN after restarting my smartphone? 1Password requires the master password for security reasons. The Enpass team promised to change that months ago. Where is the option to use fingerprint and PIN at the same time? When will there finally be a new independent audit? This has been promised for more than a year! If you are also dissatisfied, please answer this complaint with "+1".

  3. Hello, I was on win seven one week ago and made some db saves on a flash drive. MY SD crashed and I was forced to make some changes with my hardware and operating system Now I'm on win 10 (new installation) and reinstalled enpass. Once my identity accepted it asked for restoring db and I choosed from PC and selected a file from my save : Vaults\primary\vault.enpassdb (0,97 Mo (1 027 072 octets = hundreds loggins and passwords) with my last main password that worked on seven of course = pasword refused I've also tried the other file vault.json (1KB) but contains no informations about passwords = didn't match either This is not the first time I've had problems with enpass, the last time it was impossible to restore due to a program upgrade or sth. And I lost my database too... So what must I do to recover my DB please, I need it and I'm really pissed off about this situation cause I thought I had made everything TO MAKE SURE it would work with my new installation ? Thanks by advance for any help

  4. Yeah, I also think that Enpass is in a maintenance only phase because the latest updates with a few new features was launched last september. And beside this for them to just introduce support for TOTP codes long than 100 characters took two months and the latest Enpass version 6.8.X is verry buggy; it crashes often, and it's too slow.

I also think that the project, I'm not saying it's dead, but it's greatly slowed down, I think it has entered a phase of maintenance only, bug fixes only, just look at the release-notes, the last real update with new features was the 6.7.4, then only improvements nothing big. I think they invested a lot of time in compliant with the certifications (ISO27001:2013). Next July my premium plan will expire, and before renewing it I'm evaluating alternatives, in particular bitwarden, always self hosted, but unlike enpass and very open to the community there is a road map. I strongly hope I'm wrong and that the project is alive instead.
