  1. Thank you for your reply. I've now deleted Enpass, having previously exported all the vaults locally on my Mac. I deleted all the files containing Enpass using AppCleaner and then 'Find Any File'. I then reinstalled Enpass from the App Store and imported the vaults I had previously backed up. So far, Enpass's startup behavior is working smoothly and quickly. Now I have one last question. The 'PassKeys' folder in Enpass is empty. I don't know if anything was saved in this folder before I deleted it. I haven't yet emptied all the deleted files from the trash. If there was an entry in PassKeys, in which deleted subfolder can I find it? Thank you.
  2. Oh, I forgot: I'm using macOS Sonoma version 14.8.1 on an iMac. I have Enpass version 6.11.15 (2116).
  3. Hello, Enpass crashes about every fourth time I launch it. Besides that, the beach ball spins for about 15 seconds each time after launching. Both of these things are making me question whether I want to continue using Enpass at all. I therefore want to completely delete Enpass from my Mac and then completely reinstall it. Of course, I want to keep all my passwords and settings. How can I get a direct, freshly installed copy of my current Enpass app? Is it sufficient to export vaults? What about the other settings? Thank you for your answers.
  4. Thank you for your effort!
  5. The total number of Items stored in Enpass is 725. (I cannot believe it! So many.) Total number of attachments is 2. Number of vaults currently in use is 3. No cloud service. Only local storage. It doesn't matter whether I check for compromised passwords or not. The startup behavior is the same. If I close Enpass and open it again immediately, there is no beachball and no delay. Thank you
  6. Enpass always needs at least 10 seconds to start. Basically, Endpass starts immediately, but then it freezes and the beach ball appears. Only then can I search for passwords. This is also the case if I have switched off “Search for compromised passwords”. Even if WiFi sync is switched off. I have an iMac M1 OS, the Endpass version is 6.11.12 Is there any way to change this behavior? Thank you

Hello and thank you for your answer, 1. Enpass 6.11.8 on Mac OS 12.7.6 2. File type is RTFD (see attachmant) Right now I found my mistake by myself. The file type was RTF. If I make a PDF out of the RTF, Enpass will import it. I assume you cannot import RTF.

Hello, When I try to load a small attachment (just a few kb) into Enpass I get a warning: Attachments must be smaller than 5 MB. The attachment will then not be loaded Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug on Enpass's part?
  9. 👍 it works!
  10. The same here. Enpass crashes after update to 6.11.7 on Mac OS Monterey.
  11. Hello, I always try to avoid the Appstore whenever it's possible and the Appstore doesn't show, that I purchased Enpass. Anyway I tried to update Enpass using the Appstore and that worked howsoever Enpass came on my mac. So everythimgs seems to work now. I thank you for your help!!
  12. Hello, I use version 6.8.5 (1256). I downloaded it from your website. I made another to update yesterday and it didn't word also. Same behavior as described above
  13. Thank you for your answer. What you desribe is what I woul expect. But as you can see, there ist no update bottom in the 'help' menu. And I tried the master password, a password from a second tresor and none of them worked. I even tried an old password that I used one year ago. None of them worked. Only the reinstallation from the timemachine backup library container and then a restart of the mac heped.
  14. Hello, I have the website version of Enpass 6.8.5 on Mac OS 12.6.5 I tried to update Enpass to the new version 6.8.6 today. I could not find an automatic update choice. So I downloaded the new version from the website and installed it. Enpass installed a new version and kept the old (6.8.5) version. So now I had two versions. When I tried to start the new version Enpass could not find the preferences and the tresors. I had to direct Enpass to the backups of the old version. While doing that, Enpasss wanted the backup password. I tried the master password, but Enpass didn't accept ist. So I couldn't open the tresor. To get Enpass running again I had to reinstall the Enpass Container from the library and the old Enpass version from a timemachine backup. Now the old version is working again and I can open the tresors with my master password but it cost me nearly tweo hours of work. Now my questions: Which one is the backup password? Apparently not the master password. Has the Desktop version of Enpass for mac no automatic choice to update to a new version? What did I do wrong while I updated Enpass the way I described above? If I would change to the Appstore version of Enpass, will I have the same problems I had in the update process? Thank you for answers
