    Hi @Will.iam

It seems that we have some issues with existing database file. We should restore a working version from backups first to restore your data. Please follow the below steps on your MAC:

    1. Quit Enpass(if Open) using Command+Q.

    2. Depending on the OS, Go to following Path in your System:

      /Users/$Username$/Library/Containers/Enpass/Data/Documents/
      OR
      /Users/$Username$/Library/Containers/in.sinew.Enpass-Desktop/Data/Documents/

Note - You might see multiple folders named Enpass here, please check in all such folders where you may find the Folder named Vaults. Also, Enable View hidden contents in Finder

    3. Here you will see a folder named Vault. Rename this folder. Say to “XYZ”

    4. Now launch Enpass Application. It will launch from Welcome Screen.

    5. Select Previous Backups Option

    6. Now Restore the latest Backup by providing your Master password.

    7. You should be able to restore Enpass from last backup state now

Please let me know if you were able to access your data after following the above steps.

Under Win OS-10 ver. 21H2 (OS build 19044.1586), there is no such folder as 'Library'. Hidden folders/files is enabled

  2. How about a fixed one-time fee to see details of each single website Breach Alert, and, separately, a single lesser payment to see each identified 2FA-supported website? All non-subscribed Enpass 'pro' users can the see the Security Risk website numbers. Nice that Enpass can detect them.

I might pay the introductory $8.99/yr to find my 2 breached websites, and then quit before renewing, but the $23.99/yr reminds me of why I ditched LastPass password manager.

I definitely would pay a fixed amount, say $2, $3, or $4 for information of each instance of the (currently) anonymous websites that have been reported by Enpass. Monitoring and identification incur additional business expenses, so the yearly Audit subscription fee is understandable.

Enpass is awesome. Please make it more so by creating a pay-as-you-go Audit feature.

  3. I had previously registered Enpass Pro on my Windows 10 PC. The new pricing had no effect on my two existing Android devices, a phone and a tablet. I paid $12 each many months before the new Enpass Pro pricing. I just upgraded my Enpass apps like any normal upgrade on the Google Play Store. When the registration pop up appeared on the android devices, I simply chose already registered. I then entered the code sent to my gmail address, and now I can have Enpass Pro on any additional devices for free. The Enpass crew  has apparently decided to reward their loyal customers who had made a previous purchase with the Enpass Pro version for all devices with the same registration. Thank you Enpass. The new Enpass Pro pricing eventually beats the recurring yearly price of many many password managers. I left LastPass and went to Enpass more than a year ago.

  4. I posted this same topic today here: Home> General discussion> Enpass Support & Troubleshooting>Desktop> Windows PC> Enpass Sync does not work correctly.   Afterwards, I then found Home> General discussion> Hot topics> Cloud Sync.   I did not know about this posting location on the enpass discussion forum, so I  apologize for the double post.

I'm confused about sync in WHERE database overwriting takes place, and if I can choose the overwriting direction. What if I want to overwrite my local device with what is on the cloud? What if I want to keep what is on my device and overwrite the cloud with new or changed information?

Example: I had a weak password on SOME*website*.com, so (on my Windows 10 PC) I logged into Enpass and generated a strong password for SOMEwebsite.com, then saved the new entry. I also logged onto SOME*website*.com and changed my password to the stronger one that Enpass generated. Then I synced to my cloud on Google Drive. Afterwards I logged onto my enpass account on an Android tablet. I synced to my Google Drive cloud, but the password entry of SOME*website*.com within Enpass on my Android tablet was unchanged from the previous weaker password. I tried this same kind of password modification on a different website, first using my Android tablet, then relogging onto Enpass on my Windows 10 PC, and syncing with similar results...the password did not change on the Windows PC.

I've synced Enpass on Windows10, and on two Android devices. There were several missing log-in entries on each device, even after re-syncing a few more times. So,.... Enpass syncing is not working correctly on my devices. I had to manually delete and/or add Enpass changed log-ins (and a secure note) on all three of my devices, so that each has the same information as the other two devices.

Why is there not some kind of switch within Enpass to either 1. Sync to the cloud (overwriting the cloud) from the respective device when changes are made on the device. OR 2. Sync to the device (overwriting the device) from the cloud which was changed from a different device.

Installed Enpass versions: Win10-5.6.10, Android phone-6.0.8.215, Android tablet-5.0.3.1      I don't see why different versions would make any difference since all of them sync to my Google Drive.

  5. The menu seems the same on my android tablet (Enpass version 6.0.3.1), and on my android smartphone (Enpass version 6.0.8.215). With either one, I click near the top left corner on the three horizontal lines just to the left of "All Items", then I click on the gear symbol near the bottom right corner. Under "Settings" I click on "Vaults", then I click on "Primary". Under "Synchronize" my devices each have Google Drive. Yours should be OneDrive. I did not go any further. Since you need to change yours, try and see what clicking "DISCONNECT" under "ACCOUNT INFO", and see what that does for you.

  7. Go to this website:

Download and Install GApps for Lineage OS

GApps is both hardware and software dependent. You must select the right GApps for your phone's processor and for your phone's version of Android. Any changes you make to your own phone are your responsibility. Have a good idea as to what you are doing.....you may brick your phone.

  8. Oh, another thank you wmc, your (endingly disgruntled) post was goodly detailed with plenty of glitches. That post took a timely account of your problems with Enpass version 6.*.*. Thanks to you, the next version will fix these bugs that you posted.

Since some reported version 6.0.4 fixed all the bugs, I decided to try it.  BIG MISTAKE!  It is as buggy (only without the text display issues) as 6.0.0.  Just some of the issues:

    BUGS:

    1.       Interface on desktop app locks if Enpass is idle even when “Settings->Security->Enpass is idle for” remains unchecked.

    2.       Enpass “forgets” the browsers with which it has been authorized by entering the matching code each time the system is cold-start booted even when “Settings->Browser->Ask for Browser Authorization Every Time is unchecked.

    3.       This difficulty to “remember” authorized browsers leaves no trace in logs (“Settings->Browser->Logs” “Enable” box checked).  The “Show Logs” button always shows “Nothing to Show Here.”

    4.       When I open a web page in a browser with the Enpass extension installed and authorized, the Enpass Assistant does not automatically open with the requirement to enter the master password before it displays the page’s login credential information from the Enpass database as did versions through 5.6.10.

    5.       When I open a web page that is not in Enpass’s database, and enter login credentials, Enpass Assistant does not appear, request the master password entry then offer to save the data as a new entry like versions through Enpass 5.6.10 did.

    6.       When Enpass Assistant is manually opened from any browser, it places a cursor in the search box.  Two lines below is the letter “H” and it displays entries with names starting with “H” (in my case two web pages beginning with https://...  Through version 5.6.10, Enpass showed all entries in a scrollable list sorted alphabetically in ascending order.  This behavior cannot be set as a default in Enpass 6.0.x rather I am stuck with the display of two entries, and must enter a letter at the top to display other entries.  There is no way to get a scrollable list of all entries in Enpass’s database in the Enpass Assistant window from any of the Browser Extensions as was the default for versions through Enpass 5.6.10.

    QUESTIONS:

    1.       There is no audio with versions 6.0.x whereas there was audio (unlock, incorrect password…) with versions through 5.6.10.  Is this a bug or by design?

    2.       Quite a few “Settings->Customize” entries in the User Guide do not exist in the application.  Are these “premium” features, and if so, shouldn’t they be identified as such in the User Guide?

    3.       Does purchase of the “Premium Features” restrict me to the Windows Store version only?

    4.       Since it appears you intended to remove the primary security feature of Enpass (not popping up Enpass Assistant and asking for a master password when a web page with login info is opened) shouldn’t there be at least a Knowledge Base article like “Enpass 6 for Enpass 5 Users” so we know in advance what kind of security and feature downgrades we will be accepting when we accept the update to version 6?

There just seems to be no interest from Sinew Software to REALLY FIX ENPASS 6.  They seem  to think if a few people can use it without issue, it is just fine.  FU to all the rest.

    ====================================

I'm confused as to your FU. I like your post as it refers to the wattet.db glitch. I believe they will fix it for you and the community. Compare Enpass to other password managers which require a yearly renewal, like LastPass which I dumped the last past year (ha-ha). It seems to me that the Enpass crew is trying to survive (for profit) with also caring for us users. It is good you posted your concerns, but the "FU" warrants an apology for the product they are constantly developing for us and for them. Hopefully they will NEVER sell out to some 'for profit' buyout company. Enpass is for us, both users and producers. Be ethical, be hopeful. Don't use FU.

You can install the previous version by downloading the site: apkmirror. com / apk / sinew-software-systems / enpass-password-manager /

This worked on my Android Mobile. I uninstalled the Enpass 6.0 version since it would not sync to Google Drive. I downloaded and installed version 5.6.9 which works perfectly. :D

Thank you very, very much Deyvison Rocha. A good new year to you!  I hope the Enpass upgrade to  version 6.0 for all platforms gets cleared up from the mess it currently has become. Keeping my Win10 version at 5.6.10. I edited my 5 star Google Play Store review down to 1 star for the Enpass 6.0 version. My old 5 star review: "Switched from LastPass to Enpass". My new 1 star 1/3/19 review: "5StarOldVer-6won'tSyncToGgglDrive"

    Once again, I'm sorry.

  11. Lastpass also failed to import into Enpass, because lastpass exported only .html format, not .csv like I could export back in 2017. It was time consuming (days) but it was worth moving them into Enpass one by one, so I could ditch Lastpass. Do this gradually in your spare time, while starting to get used to free Enpass, until you can ditch your proprietary subscription of your other password manager.
