  1. Hi @OLLI_S Currently, the password generator in Enpass allows you to Exclude the symbols from the generated password explicitly. We are improving it further and soon will add another option to Include only specific symbols in the non-pronounceable passwords.
  2. Hi, That shouldn't happen. We need the following information so that we can get it checked for you: Have you installed the app v6.0.6 as a fresh app or updated the previous installed versions? Have you changed the Enpass data location (The default location is Documents > Enpass folder)? If yes, Does it set to a Remote disk or locally on the system? Does the Enpass app has required permissions, i.e., Both Read and Write to the new data location?
  3. Hi, Sincere apology for the late reply. We have already introduced the Docked moded feature, especially for the Tiling Window Manager, to deal with focus related issues. With this, you can stick the Enpass Assistant on the screen, and it won’t disappear when you click outside it. You can enable it from Enpass General settings under the Behavior section. Also, once the Enpass Assistant is opened, you can use the Keyboard shortcut Shift+Ctrl+ D to stick it on the screen. 
  4. Hi @remd Sorry for the inconvenience and late reply. Please follow the steps given below and let us know if you still face an issue: Take a backup over WiFi from the iOS device. Quit Enpass on Linux. Rename the Enpass folder under Documents. Open the app, and it will start as a Fresh app. Now click Backup File under From this PC and locate the saved backup. Enter Master Password and enable the sync. Now change the Master Password on Linux and check whether it works after some time. Also, please check this FAQ as well: I am using Enpass on multiple devices. What happens if I change the password on any one of them?

  11. Hi All, I know it can be inconvenient if you need to enter Master Password after every fresh start of the application. We would love to provide the Full-time Windows Hello support, but the integration of Hello in Win32 apps isn't quite the same as in UWP apps. Although we have already found a solution and currently our team is working on it. We will release it in the future updates which inevitably makes the things better. It's going to take some time until then; we appreciate patience and co-operation. Thanks.

  14. Hi, Sorry to hear that. Please share the following information so that I can assist you better: Is the new data location set to a Remote disk or locally on the system? Does the Enpass app has required permissions, i.e., Both Read and Write to the new data location? Do the Documents still contain any Enpass folder? If yes, what are the files saved in it? Are you able to access your data on any of your devices?
  15. Hi, Sorry to hear that. Please share the following details so that we can assist you better: What's the Windows device and version are you using? Please mention the complete Windows version. What the Scale and Layout settings have you set to the device? You can check it under Display Settings? What's the resolution have you set?
  16. Hi, Thanks for getting in touch. For security reasons, Enpass never automatically fills the details in a webpage until the user triggers the autofill action (Press the Shortcut or Click the item from Assistant). So when you open a webpage, Enpass only shows the relevant items based on the matching URL but doesn't fill the details. But, for a single item saved in the database, you can set Enpass to fill the information using the keyboard shortcut without showing the Enpass Assistant. You can enable it from Enpass Settings under Browser section. Also, please share some more info so that we can investigate further. Version of macOS you use. Version of Enpass and browser extension you use. In which browser along with its version are you facing this problem? Thanks!
  17. Hi @portboy Sincerely apologize for the late reply. This application error is very common, and it occurs when there's a mixing of 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows and applications. You may also encounter this problem when you are trying to run a game or program. The simple way to resolve this is: Restart your computer Update .NET framework on your system. Reinstall the Portable version and try again. I hope this helps.

Both the items created under the default template and imported from other software have different Templates which are causing this unusual behavior. Your valuable feedback has been shared with the team, and maybe we will improve it in further versions.
  20. Hi, When you tap on a field (Except Note) on the item's detail page, Enpass will show a button to Copy the saved information. When you click on it, the app displays a message 'Copied to Clipboard' to notify you that the information has been copied to clipboard. Once copied, the information will remain on the device's clipboard until the time you set to clear it. Please share the following details so that I can assist you better When you copy the information does the app shows Copied to Clipboard message? Except for Note, in which fields have you faced the problem? Have you installed any Clipboard manager app on your device? Are you facing this problem in any specific app or all of them?

  23. Hi, Many thanks for showing interest in Enpass. The current version of Enpass is designed for individuals for personal usage. However, you can still use it to collaborate with a small team through a local shared space without the requirement of setting up any server or domain. In this scenario, all your data will be placed at that storage accessible to all the team members. The typical setup will look like A central folder location where the Enpass database will reside (could be a folder on network file share/WebDAV etc.). All the team members must have access to that location (preferably WebDAV if using mobile devices). This can be on your internal storage or remote on any cloud. As an admin, download Enpass and set it up with multiple-vaults, each for a team. Every vault with different master passwords. Set up sync for each vault (from Enpass settings) to a different folder location i.e. separate folder for every team. (Maybe to a different account in case of WebDAV). Share the access details of the shared folder (path of each vault) with the particular team. They would also need the master password of the vault. DO NOT SEND THE ACCESS DETAILS AND MASTER PASSWORD THROUGH THE SAME MEDIUM. FOR SECURITY REASONS, MASTER PASSWORD MUST BE SHARED SEPARATELY Team members can now download Enpass on their device and restore the data from the specific vault residing at a designated path. Please share the following information so that we can check on this for you: All your device and their particular OS versions on which you are using the app. When does the error occur, i.e., while restoring data from Welcome Screen or configuring sync from vault settings? Does the problem arise only on Desktop device or all the devices? Does the Sync error occasionally occur or every time? Are you using Proxy on your device?
  25. Hi All, Microsoft recently introduced the developer preview of its new Microsoft Edge browser. This edition does not support the old Microsoft Edge extensions. The Enpass extension for the new browser would need to be installed from the Chrome Web Store but requires some fixing before it works. We are working closely with the Edge team at Microsoft, and hopefully, the upcoming Enpass v6.1 would bring support for the Chromium-based Microsoft Edge. Meanwhile, you can make the Enpass Chrome extension to work with the app by disabling the "Authorized browser with verified code signature only" option from Enpass Browser settings.
