  1. I tried doubled checking caps lock and pasting the password, but the problem still happens.

    To answer your questions:

    • On which all devices (along with OS version) are you using Enpass?
      • I'm only using a MacBook Pro with version Catalina 10.15.5.
    • Which Enpass version are you using on each device?
      • I'm using version 6.4.2 (668)
    • Which cloud services are you using?
      • I'm using Microsoft OneDrive to sync.
    • Does your master password contains any special character?
      • No. The password only has letters.

Both Enpass and my Mac's OS were updated within the past week. That's why I suspect one of those updates may have caused the problem.

I also have a foreign language set on my Mac, but I double checked that the keyboard is on the correct setting, too, so that shouldn't be an issue.

Something else, which might not be important, in my vault.json file the field "last_password_changing_device" was empty and the field "last_password_changed_time" was zero.

    Thank you for the help.

  2. Hello,

I recently tried to open my Enpass file, and my password doesn't seem to work anymore. I've been using the same password for years and I haven't made any recent changes, so I'm not sure what's going on. I also tried resetting to the multiple backup files I have, and that also failed (probably due to the same password issue). The only changes I can think of are an update to Enpass and an update to my operating system. Before today, I hadn't used Enpass for several days, but I know it was working earlier this month.

    Some details, if necessary:

    1. I'm using the desktop Enpass from the App Store
    2. I have sync set up with OneDrive
    3. My recently updated OS version is macOS Catalina 10.15.5
    4. My Enpass version is 6.4.2 (668)

My only guess is that somehow the database files got corrupted, permissions somehow got changed, Enpass is somehow failing to decrypt the database files, or I'm somehow typing the wrong password. I don't see how the password could be wrong when I've been using it for a long time. Are these valid assumptions, or am I missing something? Is it possible to download a slightly older version of Enpass to test the recent update?
