About Me

  1. Absolutely, having a feature to easily exclude certain entries from autofill suggestions would be incredibly useful for many users. It would provide a simple way to manage and streamline the autofill experience, especially for accounts that are used infrequently or are not relevant in certain contexts. We appreciate your feedback and will certainly pass it along to our development team for consideration in future updates. In the meantime, if you have any other suggestions or feedback, please feel free to share them with us. Thank you for taking the time to provide your input, and we'll do our best to continually improve the Enpass experience for all users. #SI-3496
  2. Totally seconded! Would be great to just have an easy toggle like the "favorite" star button that would keep entries from being used as an autofill suggestion. As the "tech support" for my older parents, having younger kids with managed screen time, and also just having some older accounts that don't see as much use, I have several logins that I don't want to trash or archive, but I also get tired of having to wade through them as choices every time I log in.
  3. Is it possible to show the usernames of the accounts that can be autofilled to this website before needing to do a biometric verification? I found it much more straightforward when it's possible, like how Apple is offering with KeyChain, and Microsoft Authenticator on Android. Here's what I'm expecting (like Microsoft Authenticator): If this account is what we are looking for, we can select it, do a verification and it's auto filled. If it is not, press the button on the top right corner to open the app itself to choose another one. Here's what we have right now As you can see, it is not very "inline" as it still requires the pop up to be opened every single time, then we can choose an entry.
  4. This has been happening for over 6 months now. 1. I'm on lastest version of windows (11 Home 22H2), and using latest version of Edge ( 120.0.2210.144), enpass 6.9.3 (1592) 2. Every webpage, every login... The issue is, every time you try to login to any webpage has Enpass has timed out (or closed), Enpass pops up the Windows Hello box for biometric login. Then, after you successfully login with biometrics (Windows Hello) and select the "OKAY" or "CONTINUE" button, Enpass pops up again and asks you to enter the master password. If you don't enter the master password to open Enpass (after already using Windows Hello), you are unable to autofill usernames, passwords, or any information held in Enpass. This double login is extremely inconvenient, and I find it hard to believe you need specific browser, OS and Enpass info when its been happening for so long (across several updates of Windows, Edge/Chrome, and Enpass)
  5. Running macOS Sonoma 14.2.1 / Enpass app 6.9.3 (1592) MAS / Firefox 121.0 / FF extension 6.9.4.2 This is not my experience. If I Cmd-Q to quit Enpass (accidentally, but the app in in focus) it quits completely and no background tasks remain running. Icon is removed from toolbar menu, and subsequently clicking the FF extension instigates an effort to re-open Enpass.app. My expectation is for an Enpass daemon to run in the background with no icon in the Dock or Toolbar, and require an action more complicated than Cmd-Q to completely shut it down. Unfortunately, this is not the way it is working on my computer. Enpass continues to be inconsistent about when a new tab is opened, sometimes opening a new tab despite that the Enpass FF extension already opened my banking site - if it does not autofill as expected. Using the keyboard shortcut to open the Enpass dialog and double-clicking the site opens another tab. While I would like to make the FF extension use the keyboard shorcut I have been relying on with 1Password v7 (Cmd-\) when I attempt to set that in the extension preferences "Autofill or show Enpass" I am told it is an "Invalid Combination." When I use the default (Cmd-Shft-.) to open the extension dialog, it makes the Enpass.app visible/un-hidden in the background. Another issue related to this being an app running the background and not actually a daemon. For me, the Enpass app still lacks the polish and simplicity of 1Password v7. The inconsistencies in the UI and autofill actions result in me 'thinking about Enpass' where 1P7 is consistent in outcomes and is a noninvasive tool for me.
  6. The system integrates Autofill-APIs on iOS and Android, ensuring smooth autofill experiences for websites and apps. Yet, Desktop OSs lack universal APIs, restricting autofill to website plugins. Unlike some password managers, Enpass lacks AutoTyping functionality, a notable drawback. That's my point of view.
  7. I'm testing the latest beta build and I'm trying to edit Android app associations with the autofill info tab but it's not showing in the edit tab.
  8. It seems Autofill info cannot be removed at the moment and its also discussed in the below forum. You can take a look -
  9. I have a broken Autofill Info for an app inside an Enpass entry. I can display the autofill info, but not edit or remove it. What is the solution here?
  10. Hello Enpass Community, We appreciate the continuous support and dedication of our active users in making Enpass the best password manager. Regarding the recent news concerning the AutoSpill vulnerability, we would like to clarify that the research team from the Indian Institutes of Information Technology approached us about this issue in June 2022. The vulnerability in the Android Autofill framework was identified and promptly addressed/fixed in Enpass version 6.8.3, released on September 29, 2022. Your security is our top priority, and we are committed to providing a secure and reliable password management experience. If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to reach out at support@enpass.io. Cheers!
  11. Worked fine the other day, logged on to Nintendo, github, passkeys.io Google, so forth. But now I get a new seemingly Android-native prompt when I try to use passkeys. Chrome://flags still says "Use passkeys for Google Password Manager and third party managers" Reboot didn't help. Google Pixel 7, Android 14, Chrome 120.0.6099.43 Enpass 6.9.3.892
  12. For one customer I also use the password manager Password Depot, which has a wonderful way of filling in passwords: - For each entry, the type of transfer can be determined in the form Field name + Tab + Enter + Field name + Tab etc... - then you just point to the field where the entry should start and the password manager "writes" the contents. So it does not do a simple paste! This method has the advantage of working even with windows such as Vmware's Remote Console!
  13. I am having some difficulty with using Enpass with ChromeOS. I have the android app Enpass install and the Enpass extension installed in Chrome. In the android app, I attempted to do the following: 1. In the android app's settings -> Autofill -> Android Autofill Service. I toggle it and it and tries to set enpass as the android app. When I tried this, it display a dialogbox saying "Make sure you trust this app". When I press OK, the checkbox is not checked. It only gets check if I set the autofill service to none. 2. Toggle "autofill in chrome browser". This connects to the chrome extension. The problem is that connection keeps being loss. what am I doing wrong and why doesn't step #1 work?
  14. Hi @Rooco While investigating the issue you reported, our development team found that the autofill issue occurs on this website because this webpage uses web component. That is the reason Enpass Extension will not be able to autofill and as extension is unable to detect login form, while clicking on the item to login, it opens a new tab.
  15. Hi Team, My bank changed the website, on the new site, autocomplete does not work The old site had the address https://login.ingbank.pl/mojeing/app/#login The new website has the address https://login.ingbank.pl/mojeing/app/#login-new Browser extension displays page matching but when you click on login, a new browser tab is opened. Can you take a look at this problem? Enpass 6.9.2 Windows 11 (all updates installed)
  16. Hi, is there any chance to pick a preferred Enpass item for autofilling which is anytime choosen from Enpass? My situation - i have multiple accounts e.g. at google which are seldomly used and i want always to pick my main account instead of one of the seldomly used accounts. The account is reacheable / provide as choice, but first choice is another one. How can I achieve this? Austin?

    iOS 17 Autofill/2FA

CC autofill can be achieved by creating a Safari extension. It’s not perfect, but would solve the issue. Other apps like Privacy are doing it. https://privacy.com/blog/product-update-ios-extension-oct-2023
  18. Hi, Autofill on Paramount+ isn't working. First the add-on doesn't offer Paramount. If I switch to the overlay (>>) then it offers Paramount+ but clicking on it only pastes the e-mail address while password stays empty. https://www.paramountplus.com/de/account/signin/ The password field itself offers to generate a password (Firefox Add-on). I assume enpass thinks it's a registration type page/form so it doesn't offer to fill in the password and I have to copy&paste it manually. System: Windows 10 64bit education edition Firefox 120.0a1 (2023-10-13) 64bit (Nightly) I could test further browsers if required. Website field in the Enpass entry contains this value: "https://www.paramountplus.com"
  19. Have the same issue on Ventura and still having this problem with Sonoma. Enpass crashes after using the latest Google Chrome and Safari extension. I also tried now to deactivate the browser extension option Show Inline Autofill Popup Menu as a workaround. Hope you will find a solution as soon as possible. Latest Enpass version on Mac 6.9.1 (1512) 1 vault 703 items 12 attachements Best regards sTaNy
  20. Thanks for your reply, but the inline autofill from Enpass Portable does work on Chrome or Edge on my System. Only in Thorium it doesn't.
  21. Hi @Jankete Upon a thorough investigation of this concern, we would like to share that Enpass Inline Autofill options are not available for the Enpass portable build. If you wish to use Enpass inline menu, please download the build from Enpass website.
  22. Hi @paulsiu To activate passkeys on your iOS device for Enpass, please refer to the below steps - The latest version of Enpass must be installed with iOS ver 17 and autofill with Enpass must also be enabled. Open the particular websites ( which supports passkey )and login with username and password . Go to settings page -> Navigate to login method -> Add passkey. Now Enpass will prompt to save the save passkey. Follow the screen instructions. For a visual guide on how to add a passkey in the iOS version of the app, I recommend checking out this blog, as it includes a helpful video that can assist you in this scenario.
  23. Hello, love enpass, but since it has lot's of categories and ability to store even documents or just notes it's very useful to me as forgetfull person. But sometimes it becomes very incovinient when it suggests to autofill fields from my notes, which are private, and I don't want anyone to see even the name of these notes. Please, add ability to exclude certain tags/categories/fields from even showing in autofill, especially on browser extension. Thanks in advance.
  24. Hi @stkjj Thank you for sharing the details with me. I would like to share that at the moment, credit card autofill isnt supported from iOS keychain. Also, it seems that you are opening the login Items and not the credit card Items. #SI- 3473
  25. hey, I recently switched to an iPhone and autofill doesn’t work very well. Enpass always tries to autofill using email even when the website is asking for a username. I can reproduce this error 100% of the time with absolutely every single website that wants a username instead of an email for login. For example: https://bethesda.net/en/dashboard?cogs_modal=login&redirect_to=transaction-history%2Fproduct-codes&redirect_to_site=accountsSite It works on my android phone, it works on my mac (macOS), and I’m pretty sure it works on my PC (Windows). It only fails on iPhone. I have an iPhone 15 pro max, with iOS 17 I also tested on another iPhone (pro 12, iOS 16) with a different enpass account. Same issue. This makes Enpass very hard to use on iPhone. Thanks
