About Me

  1. Ubuntu 16.04 LTS Chrome 62.0.3202.89 Enpass Browser Extension I can not change the keyboard layout inside the extension. Just in the browser, changing the layout works correctly.
  2. Why is the auto-filling on Chrome on the extension's bar? Wouldn't it be better placed at the login's and password's fields better? The extension is great, but you should also add the auto-filling in the fields Is it possible to do that? I think most password managers use that way and most people seem to enjoy more the experience like that, including myself. Thank you for the app, love it.
  3. I've recently started appreciating Chrome web apps for some of my oft-used Google products (Gmail, Calendar, Music, Photos, etc.). Here's a screenshot of Music. Notice there's no toolbar or other typical browser distractions: Most of these still allow me to autofill with Enpass (along with the full browser right-click menu), so that's good! However, if I use the nifty Applicationize product to turn a page into a web app, right-click and Enpass access if somehow denied, which is a problem when I then need to log into these sites. Any thoughts about how to make them work with Enpass?
  4. Chrome extension not working Hi, I am running the enpass app on linux ubuntu 16.04 using the chrome extension. When I click the enpass icon in the extensions area (top right corner), I get the following error: Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension. Now of course I have tried this, and I am sure that it is all enabled. I've tried, clicking and unclicking + redownloading the app.
  5. Chrome Ext never works Apologies if this has been posted a million times, but feel like I've got to ask about it because it's continuous. Using Enpass on OSX with the Chrome extension and it seems to continuously not work. I don't know how often it is, but it seems when I go to Enpass preferences that "Enable browser extensions" is unticked. Just wondering if there's a reason for this or if it's a pattern. Does the connection stop working when Enpass or Chrome are updated or is it just random? It feels like it's broken multiple times per week
  6. Hello, I noticed that when I use keyboard shortcut or click on Enpass extension icon in Chrome then after choosing login its details are filled in in the page's form but Chrome focus is lost and I have to click the browser window in order to be able to submit login using keyboard. I found the issue has been reported previously and reportedly fixed but it stills occurs on my machine. Best regards, Piotr
  7. Hey there. I'm currently using Enpass on both, Windows and Mac in Chrome. I'm used to use "cmd + f2" for auto fill since that's an easy to manage keyboard combination that doesn't force my right hand to leave the mouse :). That's what I was using in 1password, and I'd like to continue using that. Whenever I register *any* keyboard combination that starts with a "cmd" key followed by any "f" key, *all* cmd keys are fetched even if there's no additional key pressed. So right after registering "cmd + f2", I'm no longer able to use e.g. "cmd + f" for searching. If I e.g. register "cmd + ^" (which gets displayed as "cmd + `" in the extension configuration), the "cmd" key works as expected and doesn't catch other key strokes then the configured one. If I register "cmd + esc", then it's the same as with "cmd + f2", the Enpass tooltip opens as soon as I hit "cmd". A possible solution for resolving this would be: Having "Fill with Enpass" as a menu entry somewhere in Chrome, which would allow me to register my very own shortcut through regular OS-X keyboard management. Is there any chance to have a "cmd + f" combination working on OS-X? Regards, Stephan.
  8. Hello, dear Enpassians! Recently, Google has changed the signing certificate for the Chrome browser on Mac leading to the failure of code signature verification of Enpass and thus, showing Enpass connection error while using the Enpass extension. We are implementing the fix and will roll out the new update for the website as well as the store version very soon. We request you to accept our apologies for the trouble caused, please put up with us. Thank you.
  9. Hi, As you can see in the screenshot, if you right click the text box, and choose enpass, some buttons are covered by the dock. You're unable to click them, please fix.
  10. Taking a quick browse through the code for the Enpass extension for Chrome and it looks like it's using the chrome.storage.sync property to store the option for the shortcut. While this makes it convenient to sync across devices, I have a few different devices that I'd like to have different shortcuts on, and with the sync property being used it changes it automatically on every device. Could you make it an option to instead use the chrome.storage.local property instead? That way I can set the correct shortcut for each devices without overwriting the others. All it has to be is a simple checkbox with the label "Sync across devices?".
  11. Hi, Description Enpass crash on open from chrome the first time. Steps to reproduce Open computer or reboot. Open chrome. Go to a website with login. Use the shortcut to autocomplete with enpass. Enter master key. Current result Enpass crashes and chrome integration does not work until we open the enpass app again. Expected result That the enpass is unlocked correctly and the login fields are autocompleted. If I can help sending any data, let me know. Thanks
  12. Attempting to use https://exchange.gemini.com/signin the autofill plugin for chrome or safari doesn't find the fields at all. Both are animated when attempting to use autofill but no info is pasted into them. The HTML for the form looks like the below: <form role="form" method="POST" action="/signin"> <input type="hidden" name="csrfToken" value="<removed>"> <span class="FieldDebug"> </span> <div class="Field TextField filled FloatingLabel"> <div class="FieldLabel-Right"> </div> <label class="FieldLabel">Email Address</label> <input type="email" class="TextField" name="email" value="<removed>"> </div> <div class="password-field FloatingLabel"> <div class="Field TextField"> <div class="FieldLabel-Right"> <a tabindex="-1" href="/signin/forgot?email=<removed>">Forgot your password?</a> </div> <label class="FieldLabel">Password</label> <div class="FieldGroup FieldGroup-Right"> <input type="password" class="TextField" name="password" value=""> <span class="addOn"> <span class="Toggle">show</span> </span> </div> </div> </div> <span class="MobileOnly" id="ForgotPasswordLink"> <a href="/signin/forgot?email=<removed>">Forgot your password?</a> </span> <div class="Checkbox Field"> <label> <input type="checkbox" name="rememberEmail" value="true"> <span class="faux-check-and-label"> <span class="check-label-content">Remember my email address</span> </span> </label> </div> <div class="FormActions"> <button type="submit" class="Button Primary"> <span> <span class="iconWrap"> </span> <!-- react-text: 47 -->Sign In<!-- /react-text --></span> </button> </div> </form> Thanks!
  13. After installing a recent update of the Windows Desktop client, my browsers no longer work and I get the "Connection Error" message. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the browser connections as well as the Windows Desktop client. Any way I can debug this to figure out what's going on?
  14. happy new year everyone, I have installed enpass on windows 10 and on my browsers they are all working except UC browser extension which is my browser of choice for both mobile/desktop and this is keeping me from deciding to purchase premium I always get Enpass Connection Error Please start Enpass desktop app and make sure you have checked "Enable Browser Extension" in Enpass Preferences, before using Enpass Browser Extension. I did all the steps nothing worked both my browser and my enpass are up to date thank you in advance
  15. Recently Chromium blog annunces the end of support for Chrome Apps : http://blog.chromium.org/2016/08/from-chrome-apps-to-web.html Will this be the end of Chrome autofill?
  16. Hello. I am using Enpass on Linux desktop with Firefox and Chrome extensions. As of recent I cannot autofill the credentials for StarMoney anymore: triggering Enpass shows some credentials, but selecting the correct one has no effect. This definitely has been working previously. As a workaround I have tried to automatically save the credentials with Enpass anew, but signing in have not triggered the credentials saving dialog.
  17. Hi All, Not sure where the fault lies here but I've run into an odd website login issue since I've recently started using Enpass, and its corresponding browser extension. The machine is running Windows 10 Pro, Enpass 5.3.0 Desktop App, and Enpass Browser Extension 5.3.0 for google Chrome. Chrome Version 52.0.2743.116 m (64-bit). When attempting to login @ https://www.mynycb.com/ the website never takes the login, no matter what is typed in the box once you hit enter or submit the website reports back "Please enter your User ID". Took me a little while to go through all my browser extensions to verify it was Enpass that was related (no other extensions loaded during testing). Now for the truly bizarre part of this scenario, after you try to login with the user name and get that nice error message, if you go to the upper right corner of the screen where there is a search box below a login button and click the little search magnifying glass, the website magically seems to pass the logon user name and forwards you to the next part of their logon process. Any help you can be to understanding what is going on and if it is something Enpass can work around or not would be great (not sure if this is a bug or a feature of their site or Enpass). I've attached a screen shot to show the logon area, and the search area referenced above. Keep in mind once the browser extension is disabled the issue goes away. Thanks in advance, Phx
  18. To reproduce this bug: 1. Install Google Chrome + the Enpass Password Manage extension 2. Access a Wordpress admin dashboard with an admin account 3. Install the WP Migrate DB Wordpress plugin 4. Go to Tools -> Migrate DB 5. Fill out the form and select 'Save Migration Profile' 6. Type a profile name and click 'Save profile' 7. Go back to Tools -> Migrate DB 8. Select your saved migration profile, you should see something similar to this: 9. Click 'Export & Save' What should happen: The form is submitted as-is What happens: Somehow the Enpass Password Manager Chrome plugin clicks on the 'Create new profile' radio button before the browser submits the form.
  19. Recently got a new computer running Windows 10 Professional (using it on a company domain, running Sophos anti-virus). After installing current versions of both Chrome and Opera from Google and Opera (respectively), installing the latest version of Enpass from the Enpass website today, I am getting "Connection Error" in both browsers -- the error goes away and the plugins work as expected if I disable the option to "Verify Browsers". Obviously this is not as safe/preferred. I have disabled the Sophos antivirus and the issues remain. I have rebooted and the issues remain. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance in tracking a solution down (I am running the plugin successfully on several other laptops running Windows 10 Home). Thanks!
  20. Hi There, I am using enpass desktop 5.02 on Windows 10 with the browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox. This morning, the extensions stopped working. I've rebooted, reinstalled enpass, turned off my antivirus (to test) to no avail. (I am using Avira Free Antivirus version 15.0.17.273.) This is affecting both my Windows 10 desktop and my wife's Windows 10 laptop. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot. Thank you, - Rory
  21. OS: Solus 1.2 (DE: Budgie) Chrome: 51.0.2704.106 (Official Build) (64-bit) Opera: 38.0.2220.31 Enpass: 5.2.1 Fresh install of Solus + all updates run (as of today) (occurs in both VM and metal installs) Installed Chrome and Opera via Solus Software Center. Installed Enpass via EnpassInstaller. Enpass Extension installed via Enpass website. Browser support enabled. Chrome extension and Opera extension does not recognize Enpass running. Keyboard fill does not work. Clicking the Enpass extension does not work. Right-clicking the browser extension, selecting "Enpass", does nothing. Tested with default browser (Firefox 47.0.1) and Enpass browser extension. Keyboard fill works as expected. Clicking the Enpass extension also fills. All functionality appears to work as expected. I'd like to see these issues resolved to then submit a request to Solus dev that Enpass be added to the 3rd Party section of the Solus Software Center.
  22. I'm using Windows 10. I've installed Enpass on PC trial version for now. And also installed Enpass Chrome Extension. But I can't activate it. It asks to Enable Browser Extension in desktop app. But I can't find where it is. Can somebody help me? I've added a screenshot with my settings. Where can I activate Enpass Chrome Extension?
  23. When I use enpass to autofill my login details on https://keybase.io, it fails to fill them in. Instead in creates a url with my username and password and submits that! Obviously that fails too, but that leaves my credentials in someones log file. This occurs on Chrome (with ext V 5.2.1) and Firefox (with ext V 5.2.0)
  24. Hello, I installed the Enpass extension in Chrome and activated it in Enpass, but I keep getting an Connection error. I tried to install the extension in other browsers and disabling the signature verification but nothing changed. Reinstalling Enpass and/or Chrome didn't helped at all. I analyzed it with TCPView and there is indeed an open connection on port 10391. In Chrome's Dev Tools it seems that the extension cannot access Enpass because of the error: WebSocket connection to 'ws://localhost:10391/' failed: Invalid frame header I installed Enpass with Chrome on a VM and it worked like a charm, so I would be very happy to see this error solved for me. Greetings
