  1. Hey, it would be very nice to get my application settings also synced in my vault, so that new clients don't need to setup after connecting with the synced vault
  2. I can't seem to get Folder Sync to use a folder on the SD card in my phone (Kyocera Wave, Android 5.1). After I select the folder and press "Done", nothing happens. I can set a folder in Internal Storage, but would prefer to have it on the SD card.
  3. I really like Enpass and use it multiple Windows devices. Everything works fine. Then I activated OneDrive two factor authentication, and sync stopped working. I installed Enpass new device while havin 2FA enabled. It could read data from OneDrive, but after initial load sync didn't work. After disabling 2FA sync started working with every device. Any workarouds? Any fix coming up? Or is this stupid user error?
  4. I am trying out Enpass with view to moving from 1Password (why? while 1P say they have not done it yet, it seems 1P is moving to a service where device sync is on their servers only, and a monthly account fee will be required rather than a 'per major revision' license model...so I suspect if Enpass can get this right then there may be lots of new clients to be had.) Anyway, for the test I have: iPhone 5 running iOS 10.2.1 and Macbook Pro running running macOS 10.12.3 On the MacBook I have Enpass 5.4.1 (74) and on the iPhone Enpass 5.4.5 I have created a database on Enpass on the Mac with only 2 logins. These logins function OK. I have set the Mac to sync to iCloud. This appears to have occurred OK. I can see into the iCloud Drive and there is an Enpass file there as it should be. On the iPhone I attempt to "restore my exiting data"and choose iCloud. It asks for my Apple password with I provide. I get the message "incorrect password or invalid file" I have turned off sync on the Mac, deleted the Enpass file from iCloud and started again. The Mac creates a new Enpass file in iCloud ok, but when I go the the iPhone I again get the same error message i.e.: "incorrect password or invalid file" ... I have tried several times, I am definitely using the correct password. I have completely shutdown the iPhone and tried again. Same result. I know there are other options but I like iCloud and would prefer to use that service. Really looking forward to your response. Thanks in advance.
  5. I'd like to report a bug in syncing with Enpass for Windows desktop in Windows 10. Here is how the bug occurs: -First of all, you have to use Enpass for Windows desktop -Then, in OneDrive settings, you have to select OneDrive as the folder for documents and images -Make sure to have OneDrive sync enabled in Enpass -Now, OneDrive will be stuck on "Processing changes", and to make it stop, you have to restart OneDrive client, or restart the computer; it continues to upload files despite this, but even if there are no files left, it stuck on "Processing changes" forever until a restart of the client or the entire PC I noticed that If I revert the OneDrive settings not selecting the folder target documents and images as OneDrive, so local, the bug doesn't occur anymore. In addition, I found that if this happen, if I try to copy files from OneDrive to other source, the Enpass files are not copied because Enpass block the file in OneDrive. In the first screenshot, Ashampoo tell me that the Enpass file in OneDrive are blocked by another program, Enpass itself, and in the second screenshot, there is OneDrive stuck on "Processing for changes". The last screenshot shows you that Documents and Pictures folder are being moved on OneDrive.
  6. I need to sync with BTSync also called BitTorrent Sync. For this I need access to the data store file. Could you implement the possibility to sync the file with for example the sd card?
  7. I'm having issues syncing with any of the sync providers on app version 5.4.1 and 5.5-BETA on Fedora 25. I am able to launch the browser and authenticate, but the desktop app says that it is unable to connect to the internet. I can try and curl or WGET the URL prefilled in the browser after authentication, and the connection is refused on this port. I have my firewall, iptables, and selinux disabled and it doesn't make a difference. I can provide any additional logs or information if needed, but I cannot find anything pertinent on my own.
  8. It would be nice to have secure option available like Mega and Sync.com. Please add!
  9. Hi, i have enpass on my Onedrive account on my Windows 10 Mobile Phone, now i want to sync it with the W10 Mobil Phone of my wife. How can a use another Onedrive account in the app beside the standard account of the phone? Is this possible? Any advice? thx
  10. Enpass on my iPad does not sync anymore. I sync over iCloud. It still works OK on my iMac and iPhone. Other apps like Apple Notes still sync fine over iCloud on my iPad. I tried rebooting my iPad but that didn't help. I switched iCloud Drive off and on again. Then the iPad synced but after 15 minutes the syncing wasn't working anymore again. I then tried to sync over my WebDav server. This only worked for one sync. Then I got sync errors. My iPhone also stopped syncing for a short while. Now, my iMac and iPhone sync OK, but my iPad isn't syncing at all. What do I do now?
  11. Hi, I am considering buying the pro upgrade of enpass. So far I downloaded the app on my mac (macOS 10.12.2) and on my iPhone 6 (iOS 10.2). I have entered 20 passwords and wanted to sync it to iCloud. While the mac does not give me any error, my iPhone does not sync. It says it is syncing but after a few minutes it throws the error code -118. No password have been synced. This error occurs both via WiFi and mobile data. Apparently another user has the same problem and reported it already two weeks ago:
  12. Today I got an update from version 5.4.6 to version 5.4.7 on Playstore. Running Android 7.1.1. All was working perfect in 5.4.6. Once updated to 5.4.7. I had an error message about sync with Webdav (owncloud) with a private certificate - as stated in the upgrade informations - . Following the instructions I disconnected, then try to reconfigure the connection to the server. No way. I get a "folder not recognized" message. Did this 4 times. Back to 5.4.6. (Thanks to having app backup) and all good again. Try to update 3 hours later.... same thing. Back on 4.5.6. and all works fine. Any idea ?
  13. Hi all, I just started using Enpass on my Mac and my Nexus 6. I sync using Google Drive. This all seems to work well. The only catch is that I end up with multiple Enpass folders in my Google Drive folder, and even multiple "sync_default.walletx" files in a single Enpass folder. As long as Enpass knows which is the latest file, I guess it doesn't really matter, but it makes a mess of my Google Drive folder. On the Mac the folders are all numbered, like "Enpass (5)". If there's more than one Enpass file, they're named like "sync_default (1).walletx". On my Nexus 6, all files all of the folders have the same name, as do multiple sync_default files. Is there a known issue? Or is it supposed to work like that? If the latter, there must be a better way.
  14. How do you sync your mobile device(s) with your desktop/laptop without relying on a public cloud service? You could run an OwnCloud or WebDav server privately but it's rather heavy to set up. I have used eWallet for many years and it has a rather elegant solution to this problem: the desktop client can act as a sync server on the LAN. A trust relationship must first be established with the mobile device(s) and presto you have fully private syncing without the need to install any additional software. It sort of works the opposite way of the "local WiFi" option that's offered when you first install Enpass on an iOS device and offers true syncing as opposed to just backup/restore. One of Enpass' key USP is the fact that it doesn't compel its users to store their precious data on random cloud servers. Despite being encrypted, the vaults could be retrieved then subjected to brute force attacks offline. Future exploits against encryption algos and Moore's law make this an unattractive prospect to many a user. Offering this feature would certainly strengthen that Enpass' USP IMHO. This feature could also enable syncing with any future "dropbox"-style public cloud service (ie: any cloud that's transparently accessible via the desktop's filesystem) without incurring any additional dev work. Please let me know if this is unclear and/or it would be useful to post a video of how this works on competing solutions)
  15. After purchasing Enpass on Android and having it sync properly with Google Drive, Enpass on Android can no longer sync with Google Drive. It gives me: "There went something wrong while synchronizing. Error Code :-116" I've tried disconnecting and then reconnecting but it makes no difference. Obviously I need it to sync on my phone or one of the major advantages of using Enpass for me is gone. There have been a few issues I've reported now that just get "I've filed a report and the dev team will look at it". This issue is severe so I'm hoping this gets the immediate attention it deserves.
  16. Note This only makes sense if Enpass is setup to sync. If Enpass is setup to sync, I'm thinking it would make sense to: Backup locally to a default location that can be changed by the user & offer the option to move existing backups if the directory changes. Backup remotely based on the Sync settings - no user control here Furthermore, when setting up Enpass if a user selects the option to restore data: Enpass would check the sync location for the restore data and if data is found, ask if they want to restore data If they choose yes, allow them to choose which data point to restore (e.g.: Tuesday 12/27, Sunday 12/25 etc.)
  17. When setting up Enpass on a new machine, you have the option to restore data from a particular source. I happen to use WebDAV/ownCloud over all the other services. However, when reviewing the Enpass settings after the fact, WebDAV/ownCloud Sync isn't setup requiring one to go through the sync process again. It would be nice if, during the restore process for WebDAV/ownCloud, you offered an option to restore data and setup sync at the same time; possibly via a checkbox defaulted to 'yes'.
  18. Hello, don't really know where to post this, but "Data Security" seems kind of fitting. I recently set up Enpass on my devices to synchronize via a nextcloud-server running on my desktop computer. In doing that, I realized I didn't receive a certificate warning on any of my devices when setting up the synchronization, even though the server is clearly using a self-signed certificate. I'd really appreciate it if I received a warning when setting up synchronization with a server using a self-signed certificate, and maybe even enable some sort of certificate pinning, to make sure my data doesn't end up on another WebDAV server, which happens to be accessible with the same URL and just is configured to store all data from incoming connections, regardless of matching credentials. (A malicious person could do that) Using Enpass 5.3.0 on Linux and Mac, and Enpass 5.4.3 on Android

    Sync to Folder

On the Linux desktop client (and presumably the windows client), there is "Sync with Folder" option, which appears to be unavailable on Android (tested only on Enpass 5.2.0, Android 6.0.1; CyanogenOS 13.0). I'd like this feature so that I can use Syncthing to synchronize my Enpass instances. As the Sync to Folder option on the Desktop creates a wallet with a nonstandard filename ("sync default.walletx" - no underscore), one cannot use the default Android folder (hardcoded to "/storage/emulated/0/Enpass_backups/" for some unknown reason), which contains the default wallet in "/storage/emulated/0/Enpass_backups/Enpass/sync_default.walletx" (underscore). Use case: Clients A and B are running linux. Client C is running Android. The Default Enpass wallet directory on A and B is set to ~/Enpass/. Clients A and B have the "Sync to Folder" enabled and set to sync to ~/Enpass/Sync/, which is of course synchronized via Syncthing. On A and B, Syncthing is configured share ~/Enpass/ with A, B and C. Client C maps that sync share to /storage/emulated/0/Enpass_Backups/ (as this is where Enpass stores its data, and this path is not adjustable in any way) Without the "Sync to Folder" option on C, and without the filenames being the same, there appears to be no way to synchronize the files. Thus, the main desired missing features on Android: Sync to Folder Select default Enpass folder ("To SD card" or whatever is not sufficient) As the Android app is fairly pricey, I'd expect these features. Cheers PS: Hm, on further thought, it seems "Sync to Folder" doesn't work on Linux at all. In any sense.
  20. Hello, I'm evaluating to purchase pro version of enpass, but it doesn't sync data on iCloud between my iPad and iPhone. Could anyone help me? Thank you
  21. I am looking for a solution to the problem of using Enpass locally between iPads, iPhone and MacBook Pro. Whilst using the iPads, I've employed my own hosted WebDav but again the management of such a server requires time and effort unlike iCloud, OneDrive for Business or local Folder. Cloud sync would be good if it is a Trusted store such as Apple or Microsoft. But do we really 'trust' these big corps with our password data? I would like to build a cross platform WebDav for secure password management for people to use solely for this purpose only. Who would be interested? I'm thinking deploying WebDav on a Swiss Server, designing a web interface for Enpass and then syncing between devices through WI or SSH. I've tested WebDav and EnPass on Digital Ocean before but it's a lot to manage. Any other solutions to secure cloud password storage?
  22. Hello. Enpass cloud sync using OneDrive usually works very well for me. But this morning I experienced the problem of some changes made in the traditional Win32 desktop application not syncing to other devices (Windows tablet and Lumia 950). When I tried manual sync, the phone and tablet would fail repeatedly. "Last attempt" time updated, but "Last synchronized" date remained old. Then, I opened the Windows 10 UWP app on my PC, entered the same changes I had made in the Win32 app, manually sync'ed, then tried to sync the phone and tablet again--and they both worked! So, it appears the Win32 application causes problems with cloud sync in my case--although the cause and workaround could be different for others. Desktop: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.187 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6 | Enpass (Win32) 5.3.0.1 Tablet: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.187 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6 Phone: W10 1607 build 10.0.14393.189 | Enpass (UWP) 5.1.6
  23. Since this problem does affect the 5.3.0 linux app too (ubuntu 16.04) : - Is it possible do have access to a previous (working) version ? - do you have any ETA for the fix (even an vague one: next week, before the end of this month, next month…)? Thank you, David.
  24. Hi, After reading the review by Daniel Rubino on Windows Central, I thought I would give Enpass a try. Have been using Lastpass for a while, but was attracted to your support for UWP, Windows Hello, cost and device sync. I am really impressed. I travel a lot, sometimes in areas with no wifi or phone signal. Can you suggest a workaround/method for getting access to stored passwords, etc in a worst case scenario where I only have access to a public computer or a borrowed smartphone? This computer / smartphone may NOT have Enpass installed and my data file at present is located on my Onedrive. Is there a web app, for example? If the only solution would be to buy another phone and install Enpass on it, I guess there would still be a need to remember my login details for the new phone's platform AND my OneDrive. Thanks for the good work. Malcolm
  25. Hi ! I'm using 2 Windows10-PCs and 2 IOS-mobiles. And the latest enpass Versions. But I don't like your Synchronisation via cloud. Because: your sync didn't work, sorry. I try different clouds: Google, owncloud,Dropbox. My Problem is, that the datas are everytime old. The sync hangs. Which solution/icloud do you recommend for customers? bye, Thomas
