  1. Hi, Latest MacOS and Enpass up to date versions. I noticed that when I quit Enpass, the main app window reopens at the center of my screen, and not at the place I last put it. There's also some problems with the main app window resize function, sometimes it take it, sometimes no. It's not a big issue anyway, just annoying. Thanks.
  2. Hello Enpassians! Today we have rolled out a beta update v6.0.3 for the macOS. This update overall improves the stability of the app by bringing several improvements and bug fixes based on your feedback. The full list of all the changes is: Improvements Significantly improved the synchronization for various WebDAV configurations. A big thanks to all those beloved users who shared the demo accounts and supported us in refining the WebDAV sync. You can now remove multiple items from the Favorites. Improved the Tags management where you would now be able to create nested tags with same name i.e like Folders in Enpass v5. Unlike the previous version, the improved password generator now adds more random digits and uppercase to the pronounceable passwords. Optimized the CPU usage which was going high due to an animation of sync icon. Added an option to quit the Enpass app through close button completely. This will prevent the app from running in background and thus the Enpass icon won’t always be visible in Menu bar. The Touch Bar on MacBook Pro now shows the option to use Touch ID to unlock the app. The item editing window now adjusts itself in accordance with the main app window providing enough width for writing the notes or information quickly. When a new item is created with any tag selected in sidebar, the item will be tagged upon creation. The app now shows a warning dialog before moving an item to Trash. Improved the synchronization with Google Drive. The index of any password (when viewing in large) now starts with place one instead of zero. Enpass can now import the JSON file exported from the Bitwarden password manager. Fixes An issue where the Enpass Assistant was taking longer in auto filling the details in a web-page. An issue where Auto-save dialog in the dark theme was appearing in Grey, making it hard to read, has been fixed. The app was freezing while setting up the sync is now fixed. Due to the Proxy configuration on some of the desktops, the update was not getting the download. Fixed. A bug where the Enpass extension didn't show the Auto-save window while signing up or entering the login details in a web-page. Fixed. A rare bug where double-clicking an item in Enpass extension doesn't fill the details in the corresponding web-page has been fixed. Fixed an issue when was Enpass was crashing on opening an item from the browser extension (Enpass Assistant) using the down arrow and Enter key. Fixed a problem where renaming the Tags was not being synchronized with other devices. Fixed an issue where the Folder sync was not working. Importing data from KeePass with the empty titles made the app to crash. Fixed. Fixes an issue where pressing Cmd + F in Enpass extension was not bringing the focus on Search bar if an item was selected in the list. 3. Hi, I just upgraded to Enpass 6.0 recently and miss the feature to restore from backups on my PC via WLAN. AFAIK this was supported in previous Enpass versions and has been removed in Enpass 6.0. I don't want to sync my devices since I use my phone's Enpass instance in a read-only manner. I don't own an owncloud server attached to my local network and don't want to share my wallet via cloud services like Dropbox, GoogleDrive, etc. What should happen? * On your IPhone in the Enpass app navigate to settings->extensions->Backup->Via Wlan * Open displayed the address on your PC and click on ""Restore from Backup" What happened instead? There is no button "Restore from Backup". There is only a "Download Backup" button. Tested on: IOS 12.1.2 IPhone 7 Enpass 6.0.0 (build number 196) 100% reproducible
  4. Hello, i just moved from Lastpass to Enpass 6 and i like the new version. I only have one issue: I prefer a 2 vendor strategy for archiving my passwords - in the past, i exported my lastpass vault to csv and imported the csv into keepass - as an archive. When i export an enpass 5.6.9 vault as a txt file, keepass is able to import this by choosing "Enpass TXT" in the import menue. When i export an enpass 6.0.X vault as a txt file, keepass shows the error message "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". So i seems, that you changed the txt-file format, did you? And i guess the only way to fix this is, that keepass will support the new layout in the future, right? I tried this while using Windows 10, Mac OSX High Sierra and Ubuntu 18.04 ... As a workaround: It would be great to convert the enpass6 vault to an enpass 5.6.9 vault - so that i can use a portable 5.6.9 to export the passwords in an keepass friendly way ... Best regards, A.
  5. Hello all, just got updated to Enpass 6 across my devices (iOS, Win10, MacOS) and my previously working sync with my Nextcloud is now broken. Error 908417 is shown on all devices. I already deleted my old Enpass sync-folder from Nextcloud - still no success... Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks! Solved: After switching from lighttpd to nginx, the problem is resolved. According to Enpass support, my lighttpd version was too old.
  6. Hello, Just upgraded to enpass6 and the widget that appears on Firefox is very slow when saving new credentials for example, am I alone ? Windows 10 / Firefox 64
  7. Hi, I'm currently testing the Enpass 6 beta out on Linux and Android. Linux works fine so far but Syncing via WebDAV on Android fails with the error message "Something went wrong while syncing via WebDAV. Error code: 908503". I tried a lot of things but nothing worked: Creating a fresh vault and syncing it to a new folder It creates the correct folder structure on the cloud but no "vault.enpassdbsync" Creating a fresh vault and syncing it to an existing vault Restore works but subsequent syncs fail here Cleaning all data on device and reinstalling Same error Detaching from sync and reattaching Reattaching works but then the same error comes on sync I use NextCloud for WebDav with "https://<url hidden intentionally>/remote.php/webdav/" as URL and neither checking "Bypass SSL certification" or not checking it makes a difference. Hope this helps
  8. Hello Enpassians! Today we are announcing the first beta release of Enpass 6 for macOS. This beta brings: Multiple-Vault: You can create multiple vaults for personal and work credentials or a separate vault for other persons you are working with. Cloud Sync: Enpass 6 brings an improved synchronization mechanism, and each of your vaults requires a different cloud account to sync with. Secure Sharing: An option to securely share an item using a Pre-shared Key (PSK). For that you first need to define a PSK in the Advanced settings of Enpass. Enpass Assistant: A better and enhanced way to autofill details in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. You can download the extensions from here. Custom Categories and Custom Templates: Now you can define your own custom categories and templates in company with our existing categories. Custom Icons: You can add your own custom icons along with pre-supplied ones. Trash: Recover the accidentally deleted items from Trash. Archive: You can also archive the items which are no longer in use, but you don't want to delete them forever. Also the archived items don't appear in search results. Keyfile Support: You can now additionally use a Keyfile with the master password to log into Enpass. Important Notes for Beta Testers: Separate app: The Enpass 6 beta app will be installed as a separate app and will not replace the existing app on your device. Restoring database from Enpass 5: You can restore your existing data from Enpass 5 or previous versions into Enpass 6 using a Backup file on Welcome Screen. Synchronization: Enpass 6 is based on a new architecture and will not sync with the existing data of Enpass 5 on cloud. So this way you can use your existing cloud accounts to test the sync in Enpass 6 without any interference to sync in stable Enpass 5. Also, the Enpass 6 places the data on cloud into the designated App folder unlike it used to do in the root folder for Google Drive, and OneDrive. These changes will restrict you from restoring of existing data from cloud and you have to restore your data using a backup file. Mojave and Safari Extension: The Enpass extension for Safari browser doesn't work with the macOS Mojave beta versions. All beta versions are precursors of final products. They are intended for testing purposes only and should not be used any place where your data is important. Please backup your database before testing a beta release. The beta app may contain some features that are still in development and not fully functional. Download link - Enpass6 Beta for macOS (.pkg) Waiting for your feedback. Cheers!
  9. I can setup one vault (e.g Primary) to sync with an iCloud account successfully. However if I try to set up a secondary vault with a different iCloud account, this passes Apple's authentication but fails with a message saying this iCloud account is in use with another Enpass vault. Seemingly it can't differentiate between different iCloud accounts in different vaults.
