January 19, 20179 yr I would like to submit a request for consideration under "Tools". It would be great if there was an option to search for duplicate entries: I do not mean just the username and password, but the actual URL. Not sure how I keep doing it, but I manage to create duplicate entries here and there and this would be a great DB cleanup option for users like me. Otherwise, I seriously love this app! I still use it concurrently with LastPass, but have been more rapidly switching to Enpass for daily use. Thanks for the hard work!
January 19, 20179 yr Hi @sirbanks, Thanks for your suggestion. I have noted down your suggestion and forwarded to QA team for their consideration. Cheers!
February 4, 20179 yr +1 from me here too. missed this feature when imported all my stuff from LastPass. But general maintenance would also be nice.
March 30, 20178 yr Totally agree. Just imported from Lastpass and I have all my entries duplicated. Wouldn't be so bad if, after deleting one from the list, the list scrolls right back to the top again! Then I have to scroll back down to find another entry, delete it, then it scrolls up again, etc. So, a) don't scroll back to start, b) maybe a 'multi select' option to remove duplicates, c) a 'find/remove duplicates' feature. Great software though, good job.
April 28, 20178 yr I also imported my password from LastPass and also from Chrome. It ended up with a lot of duplicates. I have been searching for a way to find duplicated entries. I therefore vote up for this thing too ;-)
July 21, 20187 yr Anyway we can get this in Enpass 6? I got a bunch of duplicates from multiple different things (importing, browser extension saving as a new site instead of updating, etc) and it would be nice to clean them all up easier.
July 20, 20205 yr Hi @Afonsov, Thanks for using Enpass and writing to us. We have noted down your valuable suggestion and forwarded it to the concerned team for further consideration. Thanks for your feedback!

May 28, 20241 yr Any update on this? As amazing as Enpass is, this feature is a LONG over due one. Please, in 2024, can we get an update on this? Why upgrade if you're not going to address community requests? -E
May 31, 20241 yr We have forwarded your request to our product team for consideration. We will keep you posted on the progress and let you know when it's scheduled to be picked up in the product roadmap.

My original password manager created multiple entries with identical accounts, passwords, and domains without merging them. After switching to Enpass, I've run into the same problem—I have to manually delete them and re-add domains. It would be great if the similar password detection (or elsewhere) let users select and merge entries for the same domain. It's been nearly a decade since this issue was first raised in this thread. Hopefully it can be realized soon.
Sunday at 03:53 AM4 days This feature is indeed very useful, and I hope the Enpass team can give it some serious consideration. Since Enpass upgraded to Premium, the primary features promoted have been the Website Breach Alerts and 2FA account identification. After several years of use, it’s not uncommon to have over a thousand passwords, many of which are duplicate items. If users were allowed to select and merge entries with the same domains, accounts, or passwords within the Enpass vault, it would be much better. Manually editing and copying information across different entries are extremely troublesome and time-consuming. Enpass actually has the capability to detect duplicate passwords; it just lacks the ability to list them and allow users to select and merge those duplicates.
