How can I open a backup without restoring it?

I want to simply open a backup file to retrieve one password that I deleted but I don't want to restore that backup because I have made too many changes since then.

If you still have the same parent entry that contained the now deleted password you should be able to view the history and see what the old password was.

@lcfieldYou can restore previous backup on a new vault and later delete it in case if you don't want to overwrite the existing vault data.
