Mister-A
How to completely uninstall Enpass from Mac OS? Maybe I'm missing something here, but I can't find any instruction on the above anywhere!
Monyker
I think it's as simple as trashing Enpass from Applications and trashing .Enpass in your user profile directory (~/.Enpass), which is hidden by default. Use Terminal for the following. To list everything in your profile directory, including hidden files and directories: ls -a ~ To (recursively/forcefully) remove .Enpass: rm -rf ~/.Enpass This will permanently delete .Enpass; you won't be able to restore from Trash. Use rm -rf cautiously.
Mailer
I also tried to do the Re-Installation above, and was curious how it works, because in my case it did not work. ... Reinstalling Empass after Uninstall ... Also lost the Master Paqssword! Wanted to reset with new installation. Deleted Enpass in /Applications Did an: ls -al ~ There is no ~.Enpass I purchased Enpass Premium for MacOS. At first it was impressing for its simplicity; so it was purchased. BUT: Reinstalling from Apple App-Store does nothing to reset Enpass. After new installation from AppStore, the Master Password is still required - ?? ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ Fortunately, I found the Master Password again in the older B-Folders5 Password Manager. For the export from the old Password Manager (B-Folders5) only one internal export can be done to a comma-delimited CSV. It is a very mixed up flat file that has to be cut up into various separate excel sheets that follow the categories for Enpass. Enpass also has only one very primitive user defined Template to import non standard data into Enpass with its own CSV format. The unfortunate part is that EnPass's user defined Templates will work perfectly, but cannot be used for imports!. Still looking further for something better than Enpass. ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ ̄ Edited November 11, 2019 by Mailer
