BeardedOldMan Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Safari 13.0.5 (15608.5.11) in macOS 10.15.3 (19D76) on computer1. With the Plesk web server interface login page already open, Enpass always opens new Safari tab for Plesk web server interface login and enters the login data in the new tab, apparently ignoring the already open tab. I've tried three other browsers and all of them log into the Plesk web server interface without opening an extra tab: Chrome 79.0.3945.130 in macOS 10.15.3 (19D76) on computer1. Chrome 80.0.3987.106 in macOS 10.15.3 (19D76) on computer1. Safari 13.0.5 (13608.5.12) in macOS 10.13.6 (17G10021) on computer2. I've been ignoring this since macOS Mojave because I thought it might be a bug in Enpass, but today I finally had a few moments to try and deal with it. Disabling Safari Extensions (except the Enpass extension of course) had no effect. Does anyone have a suggestion for how to fix this?
Tahreem Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Hi @BeardedOldMan, Please confirm the URL for the Plesk web server where you're facing this issue on so that we can test this more precisely. We have tested this at https://my.plesk.com/auth/login and https://www.plesk.com/wp-login.php.

Tahreem Posted February 17, 2020 Report Posted February 17, 2020 Hi @BeardedOldMan, What is the Enpass version you are using? Did you install it from website or store?

Tahreem Posted February 18, 2020 Report Posted February 18, 2020 @BeardedOldMan, Thanks for the details. We will be testing this internally and I will let you know once we have some update regarding this.
Tahreem Posted February 29, 2020 Report Posted February 29, 2020 @BeardedOldMan, We are unable to reproduce this issue at our end, could you please share a video of the same issue with me in direct message or email us at support@enpass.io so that we can check this further.
BeardedOldMan Posted February 29, 2020 Author Report Posted February 29, 2020 I prepared to make a screen grab video on a fresh user account in macOS and Enpass didn't open a new tab. So I went to look for differences between my regular user account and the new user account it turns out that this behaviour is caused by activating the option "Match URL Hostname" in Enpass' browser options. If the option "Match URL Hostname" is activated then Safari opens a new tab. If the option "Match URL Hostname" is not activated then Safari does not open a new tab. Turning off "Match URL Hostname" is not is unfortunately not an option for me because apart from https://managed.11758.linevast.de:8443/login_up.php I also have to login at https://panel.linevast.de/clientarea.php often.
Garima Singh Posted March 2, 2020 Report Posted March 2, 2020 Hi @BeardedOldMan Thanks for sharing the inputs. I would like to share that the issue has been reproduced by our QA team. Now, the same is forwarded to the Development team to look into. Thanks for the co-operation.
