October 11, 20205 yr I'm trying to export my password but the Enpass app crashes after 5-6 seconds when the export process starts. I was able to export my data ONLY in .txt form but cannot do so in .csv or .json format. I'm using Windows 10, desktop app version is (traditional windows app) 6.5.1 (723). Kindly push an update ASAP. How can you get this very basic feature wrong?!? Regards
October 12, 20205 yr Hi @pushkaryadav, Welcome to the forums and posting your query! Does Enpass give an option to send a crash report after the app crashes? Additionally, did you try changing the location of export while exporting in .json or .csv format?
October 12, 20205 yr Author No, the app doesn't give any option to report the crash. It just disappears completely suddenly. I have tried 2-3 different locations already.
October 13, 20205 yr Hi @pushkaryadav, Please share the following details so that we can investigate where the problem could be. On which OS version are you using Enpass? Which cloud are you using to sync data? Number of items and Vaults in Enpass? How many attachments you have in Enpass? Thanks for your co-operation.
October 13, 20205 yr Author @Pratyush Sharma Windows 10 LTSC Google Drive Total number of items (as shown at the top-left corne) - 588. Only one vault. 13 attachments, though they shouldn't interfere in CSV export. Just updated to version 6.5.2 (725). My issues still exists. Edited October 14, 20205 yr by pushkaryadav
October 14, 20205 yr Hi @pushkaryadav, Thanks for sharing the details. I have noted down your feedback and we are looking into it.
October 16, 20205 yr Author and what I'm supposed to do in the mean time. It's already been 2 days. Please hurry up, I need my database. This is such a basic feature of a password manager. I've to admit, my overall experience with Enpass has been horrible. It always a hit and miss in Mobile Firefox and even in Windows, it's really slow and now this export incident. @Pratyush Sharma Edited October 16, 20205 yr by pushkaryadav
October 19, 20205 yr Hey @pushkaryadav We understand it's been inconvenient. Our app will show the crash dialog on the next restart. Please try restarting the app and then share the crash report which appears. We would recommend you to put this forum post link or the issue in the report's description, it will be helpful for us to identify the issue. Thanks!
October 20, 20205 yr Author @Garima Singh I've already mentioned that the app is not showing any crash dialog. I have tried, unsuccessfully, exporting my vault multiple times.
