whataboutbob Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 I am on the latest MacBook Pro with macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and installed the latest Enpass app version 5.6.2 from the app store. I imported over 1000 keepass2 XML entries successfully. It appeared to have created all the folder correctly but after a few minutes of use, it crashed. I restarted the app and again after a few minutes, it crashed. Any idea what's going on? I like the app from what I have seen and would like to continue to use it but not if it keeps crashing. Thanks, Bob
Guest Akash Vyas Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Hey @whataboutbob Sorry to hear about the trouble you're going through. It'd be a great help if you can share the full crash report at support@enpass.io so that we can look for the cause of it. Your co-operation is highly appreciated.
whataboutbob Posted November 6, 2017 Author Report Posted November 6, 2017 Done. In the meantime, I have downgraded to 5.6.0 and it seems to be stable so far with no crashes.
r0k Posted November 15, 2017 Report Posted November 15, 2017 I'm having this problem after today's security update to MacOS 12.12.6. I'm not even thinking about High Sierra right now. The app crashes almost immediately on launch. It's unusable at this point. The crash seems to occur when the app is attempting to sync with dropbox. I like auto-sync but I need to know how to turn it off if it prevents me from using the software. This issue was reported on 11/5 and it's 10 days later and no update is out yet? BTW, How would I go about downgrading to 5.6.0?

whataboutbob Posted November 20, 2017 Author Report Posted November 20, 2017 Hmm, 5.6.0 is now crashing on me too, any update on the issue?

thorstenv Posted November 22, 2017 Report Posted November 22, 2017 Same here macOS 10.13.1, Enpass 5.6.2 (118) . Enpass is crashing when it starts syncing via WebDAV. For me it seems to be a timing problem!?
Ant Posted November 25, 2017 Report Posted November 25, 2017 I am also getting a very regular crash - usually when it is syncing with Gdrive A snippet of the crash log is Process: Enpass [1177] Path: /Applications/Enpass.app/Contents/MacOS/Enpass Identifier: in.sinew.Enpass-Desktop Version: 5.6.0 (112) Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: ??? tschoepler Posted December 8, 2017 Report Posted December 8, 2017 Happens for me, too. Maybe it helps, that when I enter something in the search field to narrow down the visible items, Enpass doesn't crash. And yes, it usually does this while syncing with owncloud via WebDav. Also on macOS High Sierra, Enpass 5.6.0. I have 500+ items in my vault. best
bytegetter Posted December 14, 2017 Report Posted December 14, 2017 The same here, during syncing the App crashs.
