Ivarson
From an interview here, Hemant states that it is planned for a "a password-less authentication with FIDO2" later this year. Edited June 15, 2022 by Ivarson
Bachsau
Hardware keys can never beat a good passphrase. They will either be cracked some day or be destroyed, resulting in data loss.

Andreas Stolle
Please support yubikey. Also für IOS Version of enpass. There is an API for Yubikey on IOS now, as well.

stefman
Hello Enpass Team, hello @Gulshan Dogra, I'll give it a try as well. Is there any news on this topic yet? This post is over 4 years old now. Lastly, a reply was given in Dec 6, 2021 that the Request will be passed on. I have the feeling that Enpass does not give much attention to what customers want/desire. This is not only happening on this topic (e.g. also on the topic of 2FA for the Enpass application itself). Responding to customer requests is something different. I would really want, that Enpass to be more responsive to customers requests and implement them once in a while. Fadi
@Pratyush Sharma using key file is not an effective option since it must be stored on same pc we use and once a pc gets hacked keyfile + database + password keystrokes can be stolen from same device so where is that security which stop hackers from getting access to our passwords? Abhishek Dewan
Hi @Fadi I certainly understand your point. Support for Yubikey is already on our development roadmap. Unfortunately, I will be unable to share any ETA for the same but rest assured, I'm following up on this matter and will be sure to post any updates regarding this feature's implementation. Your kind understanding in the meantime is appreciated.
mx03
I used enpass for multiple years now, but i will move forward to a password manager that supports hardware keys. Can't wait for important security features forever...
Dwian
+1 A Password Manager is the first step to security and its main purpose is to simplify secure access management. 2FA is the logical next step.
d-j-a
As a total newb & Lastpass refugee I completely love this product and +1 this request. I had to laugh when I saw a few pages back that someone pointed out LP had support for this... Edited January 4 by d-j-a
Laurent
I also support this feature. It would strongly improve the security of the vaults of your users compared to an usual weak master password. With the new Apple passkey service, it would be very efficient for Apple users.
emmgr23
yes please we really need that feature now, almost 3 years im waiting for it, and im still here because i love enpass ☺️
Fadi
I don't think they are going to implement any 2FA or FIDO2 in near future not at least for next 5 years as they already spent several years ignoring this feature request.
Abhishek Dewan
Hi @Fadi We are aware of the demand for this feature, and our development team is already working on it. Implementation of any new feature has certain phases like feasibility checks, development, testing etc. Rest assured, I'm regularly monitoring this forum and sharing feedback with our team. Once this feature is implemented, I will certainly update this forum. Please bear with us till then.
Fadi
@Abhishek Dewan any idea when it will be released? Because this feature is being requested from past several years but it is yet to be implemented.
