Enpass extension for Safari on iOS 15

Featured Replies

Now that iOS 15 is out, you might want to look into creating an extension for Safari on iOS. It looks like you'll get much better integration and a better password experience that way.

I am really look forward to the extension as well. 1Password already has it live !

Also there is a bug on iOS 15.. previously i could open password protected pdf’s from mail on iOS, but choosing the password from enpass - but now that doesn’t work

@Discordant posted exactly what I was going to. (I'm happy I searched before posting.) Sounds 100% correct to me.

Hi. Any further news on this extension

the thing I am missing is that I don’t get a prompt to save new a login or updated password on Enpass.  I only get the alert on iCloud Keychain.  With the ios 15 extensions, I could get that on Enpass too.

thanks

Right now, with iOS 15, an extension isn't likely to fix this issue. It didn't with 1Password and their native extension. However, there are a lot of good reasons to move to a native iOS extension and perhaps a future version of iOS will allow for third party integrations like this.

Hi @all

The Enpass Extension feature for Safari iOS 15 is already in development. We are working on implementing it as a priority in upcoming versions of Enpass. Thank you for your patience in the interim!
