In the current version of 1password the export generates a 1pux file. There is no possibility to generate neither csv file nor 1pif. Is there any possibility of importing 1pux files into enpass?

Thanks a lot

Hi @vidario!

As a temporary workaround, you could uninstall version 8 of 1Password, install version 7 and export all of your entries into a 1PIF-file/folder. Importing into Enpass should work fine here, as I did by myself. There were only some optical things I had to change in my imported Enpass entries. ;)

I've no option to install 1p 7. So it would be awesome, to have another migration path available.

Hi @Tamascha,

As we are exploring workarounds for the moment, we will require some more time to investigate it. I have also referred this to our developers and apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

@Tamascha

Not an Enpass representative in any way, just curious. What errors if any are being seen or encountered?

This is odd, are there any errors? I also have MBP MacOS Monterey 12.x and have done several exports out of 1Password7 and imports to Enpass without issue. I do a lot of testing on Mac and Linux. As long as you have your credentials in 1Password7 (version 7 and not version 8), you should be able to export from 1Password7 in either the `.1pif` format, or even standard `.csv`, by selecting the vault to export and then `File > Export > All Items`.

What is the status of being able to import .1pux files that have been exported by 1Password?

I'm wanting to give Enpass a try, but not being able to import from a 1Password .1pux file is a dealbreaker.

Hey @fcwest,

The feature has already been implemented and will be available in future versions of Enpass.

Do you have beta version which support this feature?

Hi @all,

Thank you for being patient with us. We have released Enpass v6.8.3 (Store and website version) for Windows, macOS, and iOS. Please try and share your valuable feedback.

It works, but some password field is not masked when I edit it. It shows as password (masked)

While editing one of these imported items, click on the password field name, this will bring up some editing options for that field.

The Field Name can be whatever you want it to be, but you'll want to make sure the Field Type is set to Password and the box is checked next to Sensitive.

Then click Save.

Now when you edit the password, there should be a small eye icon in the password entry field. Click it to show or hide the password.
