June 17, 20223 yr I need a way to control auto-updating. I don't want the latest release installed without my consent. This can be done a number of ways. If you have two release paths, security vs. feature you can control it in a granular fashion by allowing users to automatically take security releases, but not automatically take feature releases. Either way, allowing options such as: Check for updates and install automatically Notify of available updates but do not install Ignore updates would be welcome options. If there is already such an option, please point me to it. Thanks.
June 22, 20223 yr Hi @EmPath, I appreciate your efforts in sharing valuable feedback. However, store apps are updated automatically. If you would like, you can disable the option "App updates" from the Microsoft Store setting. Alternatively, you can use the Enpass desktop version as it requires manual updating. You can download the website version from here.
January 17, 20233 yr How to turn off automatic updates: Disable updates for good Press the Windows key and R to open the Run box. When the Services window opens, scroll down to the Windows Update entry. Select Disabled from the Startup type drop-down menu, then click Stop in the Service status section below.
