March 29, 20241 yr Hello, I've been running Enpass installed from the Apple App Store since it seems to be more reliable than the externally installed version. But now it won't save any passwords from the browser extension. When entering a new credential, the save window comes up and I click save, but it doesn't get saved in the vault. Let me know if there is a solution for this. Thanks!
March 29, 20241 yr We would appreciate it if you could provide the following details: Device OS version. Browser details. Enpass Version. Screenshots or screen recording, if available, would significantly aid our analysis. P.S. I suggest you use the latest version of the Enpass App and Extension
March 29, 20241 yr Author This behavior is consistent on both of my devices: MBP M2 (Ventura / Mac OS 13) & MBP M3 (Sonoma / Mac OS 14) Enpass: 6.9.5 (1640) Chrome 122 - 6.9.3 Firefox 124.0.1 - Extension 6.9.4.2 (December 2023) Everything should be up to date. I've been noticing this behavior for a while.

April 10, 20241 yr Thank you for sharing the details and your efforts in providing information. I've reported this issue to the Enpass technical team. They are currently investigating it, and I will reach out to you with updates as soon as I receive them. #SI-3767
May 7, 20241 yr while we look into this issue, can you confirm following: If the issue is specific to this particular website or is common to all websites they use? Can they verify if search filter in their extension is set to search by “Fields”. To verify, they can perform below steps- Open browser extension in any browser and click on mentioned button for filters From the dropdown menu that appears, select “Fields” option. Once this is done, again try to search with the existing search phrase they used as shown in video.
May 9, 20241 yr Author @Amandeep Kumar Thanks for the followup here. - This issue is on all sites - My search is already set to "Fields"
May 22, 20241 yr Author @Amandeep Kumar I don't suppose there's any update on this? The issue persists for me, but I'm surprised that no one else has chimed in having similar situations.
May 29, 20241 yr Please open the main Enpass app and follow these steps: Search for the item in the Enpass app that was added via the Browser extension and share the results. Add any new items and check if the newly added item gets saved in Enpass. You can verify this by searching for the item or by using the Sort By "Created Time" option. Please share a screenshot of this. Have you installed two Enpass apps (one from the Website and one from the Mac Store)? If so, please let us know. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
May 31, 20241 yr Author Hi @Amandeep Kumar It looks like there are different results coming from my Firefox browser extension than from the app itself, where the app is showing recent additions but the browser extension is not. I had originally installed Enpass directly, but that seemed quite buggy, so I uninstalled that and reinstalled it from the Mac app store, but I couldn't tell you how long ago that was.
June 4, 20241 yr Author @Amandeep Kumar Also of note, I don't seem to be able to delete / move to trash any of my logins either from the browser plugin or from the Enpass app itself.
June 7, 20241 yr Hi @rps i see you have couple of issues as reported above, could you please put them together in ticket to support team by sending an email at support@enpass.io? Our technical team will help you resolve this issue.
July 1, 20241 yr Author This is still ongoing. If I update a login in the browser extension, it does not save. If I update the entry directly in Enpass, I get this message saying "Error! There was an error while updating the item.", but it still saves.
July 2, 20241 yr Hi @rps To diagnose and resolve the problem, please follow these steps: Update the App: Make sure you are running the latest version of Enpass on all your devices. Sometimes issues are fixed in newer releases. Sync Issues: Ensure that your devices are properly synced. If there's a syncing issue, it might prevent new entries from being saved. Try manually syncing your vaults. Reinstall the App: If the above steps don't work, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the Enpass app. Ensure you have a backup of your vault before doing this. Clear Cache (if applicable): If you're using Enpass on Android, clearing the app cache might help. Go to your device's Settings > Apps > Enpass > Storage > Clear Cache. Check App Permissions: Ensure that Enpass has all necessary permissions to function correctly. This includes access to storage and network. If none of these steps resolve the issue, please share the screenshot of the error message you're receiving. This will help us better understand the problem and provide a more targeted solution. Additionally, please let us know: The operating system and version of your devices. The version of Enpass installed. Any recent changes made to your devices or Enpass settings. Thank you for your cooperation. We look forward to resolving this issue for you.
July 22, 20241 yr Author After backing up and uninstalling both the primary Enpass app and browser extension. Then reinstalling (direct download this time instead of Mac app store) both, the system is working as expected again. Thanks for your help.
