WIFI sync : choose the listening IP

Featured Replies

Hi guys !

It would be awesome if I could choose the IP of the embeeded sync server. I want to use my tailscale IP instead of the local IP, So I could be able to sync my vaults through Internet.

Could you please explain the feature you’re requesting in a bit more detail? Are you looking for an option to configure the sync server to use a specific IP address, such as a Tailscale IP, instead of the local IP for syncing your vaults over the internet?

Any additional information you can provide would help us better understand your needs and how we can improve the feature.

Hi, That's it ! When I setup the wifi sync, enpass select a local IP, but I want to choose my local Tailscale IP. I suppose you should adapt the UI to allow the user to select a local IP on the PC. I don't know how to explain much better sorry.

Hey sorry for ressurecting this old thread but i have the same problem as the poster.

Is there a way for me to type the local IP manually for Manual Wifi Sync? my server lives on another subnet as the client and I've opened all communications between both devices through my router. the problem is everything else works (lan access) but it could not detect the server.

I've shared your suggestion with our technical team for further review, and they will evaluate it as a potential feature request. Thorough consideration will be made before this could be added in our roadmap.
