Sebas Posted March 17 Report Posted March 17 A few days ago, I updated the OS on my notebook and had to download the Enpass client again. I downloaded version 6.11 directly and also tried from the Windows Store. I have my storage in iCloud but the synchronization process didn't finish, it always ends with a timeout error.
Gewessler Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 I have the same problem. A colleague of mine has also had the same problem recently. When adding the Tressore, the Apple page loads but nothing happens.
Tarun Singh Rawat Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 I've reported this issue to the technical team. They are currently investigating it, and I will reach out to you with updates as soon as I receive them. #SI-4276
Rolyac Posted March 18 Report Posted March 18 (edited) I am also having this issue. Every time I attempt to sync my icloud-backed vault on Windows, it will fail: 1. Click "Reauthenticate" 2. A new browser tab will open (I've tried both chrome and edge) to idmsa.apple.com for authentication. 3. Credentials are passed in with username / password OR passkey successfully. 4. Browser attempts to pass the assertion over to Enpass (browser is allowed) but Enpass just continues to say "Synchronizing..." while the tab sits idle Enpass 6.11.9 (1915) Edited March 18 by Rolyac
Samuela Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Hey @Rolyac, Try setting Firefox as your default browser and then attempt to sync with iCloud.
Rolyac Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Hey @Samuela, thank you for the reply. I do not currently use Firefox as a browser. Is there any way to make this work with Chrome or Edge?
Rolyac Posted March 19 Report Posted March 19 Update: I did install Firefox just to get the vault synchronized. Firefox did indeed work. Why is chrome unable to communicate with Enpass now? Will this be resolved soon? Thanks @Samuela
RonL1950 Posted March 30 Report Posted March 30 Again, same issue with ICLOUD not synching using EDGE browser. Asks to Re-authenticate, ICLOUD sign-in works just fine, but ENPASS just spins until timeout. EDGE is authorized browser. After time-out, when navigating to synch, ENPASS just says 'not connected'.
AnakinCaesar Posted March 30 Report Posted March 30 As I did mention in another topic this is most likely due to the recent changes in chromium and their new manifest v3 for extensions.
RonL1950 Posted April 6 Report Posted April 6 Ok Anakin, so not sure what you mean by that. We should be notifying the Chromium people asking them to change their browser so it works with Enpass ? Still having this issue.
Maddcow Posted April 7 Report Posted April 7 I'm having the same issue and am desperately trying to set up my Windows PC which had to be reset due to driver issues. I NEED Enpass to sync with my iCloud account. WHEN WILL THIS BE FIXED??!??

Maybe you should read about the changes between Mainfest v2 and v3 and what it means for every chromium based browser. Then you should read, how many browsers are based off of chromium. Maybe then you will understand, that developers sometimes need time to adjust to those dramatic extension changes.

Tarun Singh Rawat Posted April 9 Report Posted April 9 Please set Firefox as your default browser and then try syncing with iCloud. Additionally, our technical team is actively working on a fix for other browsers and will provide an update once it's resolved.

Thanks for the update, Tarun I don't use Firefox, and since I'm not interested in setting it up, I just switched the sync to MS OneDrive, and that's working fine for me while the fix is in progress.
