aikon Posted July 9 Report Posted July 9 Enpass always needs at least 10 seconds to start. Basically, Endpass starts immediately, but then it freezes and the beach ball appears. Only then can I search for passwords. This is also the case if I have switched off “Search for compromised passwords”. Even if WiFi sync is switched off. I have an iMac M1 OS, the Endpass version is 6.11.12 Is there any way to change this behavior? Thank you

Tarun Singh Rawat Posted July 15 Report Posted July 15 To assist us in investigating the issue further, could you please provide the following additional details? Total number of items stored in Enpass Total number of attachments (if any) Number of vaults currently in use Cloud service(s) being used for vault synchronization (e.g., iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
aikon Posted July 18 Author Report Posted July 18 The total number of Items stored in Enpass is 725. (I cannot believe it! So many.) Total number of attachments is 2. Number of vaults currently in use is 3. No cloud service. Only local storage. It doesn't matter whether I check for compromised passwords or not. The startup behavior is the same. If I close Enpass and open it again immediately, there is no beachball and no delay. Thank you
Tarun Singh Rawat Posted July 18 Report Posted July 18 Thank you for sharing the details. I’ve passed the information along to our technical team and will get back to you as soon as we have an update.
Adamdd Posted November 21 Report Posted November 21 This delay is most likely due to Enpass scanning the vault on startup. As far as I know, there is no built-in way to completely disable it. As an option to reduce the size of the vault, disabling background sync may help a little. Otherwise, short-term freezes are expected on large vaults.
