Enpass don't handle passkeys on smartphone

Featured Replies

Hello, I have pocketID service selfhosted and add passkeys in browser. Now I can login to pocketID admin page with that passkey trough browser Enpass plugin. I have sync Enpass app on Android 14 smartphone (One Plus 9 pro). I setup in Google to Enpass set autocomple options in android.

When I try to login my admin pocketID page I get error that no passkeys found. What I make wrong?

Regards.

Looks like you're trying to use a passkey stored in Enpass on Android to log into your self-hosted PocketID admin page. Here’s a quick guide to help ensure everything is set up correctly:

Creating a Passkey in Enpass (Android)

  1. Navigate to your site’s account or security settings and look for an option like “Create a passkey.”
Note: If this option isn’t visible, the site may not fully support passkeys yet.

  2. When prompted, select Enpass as the passkey provider and continue.

  3. Authenticate using your fingerprint or device PIN.

  4. Enpass will search your vault:

    • If a matching item exists, it will offer to use it.

    • Otherwise, a new passkey item will be created.

  5. Once complete, you’ll be redirected back to the site to finish the setup.

If It’s Not Working

  • Ensure Enpass is up to date on both Android and desktop (if using both).

  • On Android:

    • Go to Settings → System → Autofill, and ensure Enpass is selected.

    • Enable Accessibility Services for Enpass in device settings.

  • Confirm the passkey was created on the Android device. Passkeys created on desktop may not work reliably on mobile.

If you're still experiencing issues, please reach out to us at support@enpass.io with the details. We'll be happy to look into it further.

Hello, thanks for Your help. Thanks to You I open my pocketID admin page in smartphone browser and then add new passkey. Then Google password manager save that passkey. Now I can use it. But Enpass don't show as option. I can use passkey from Enpass only in browser on desktop. As You can see on second screenshot I set Enpass as default option for auto fill.

Now that "Google Password Manager saved that passkey." Please try setting up the passkey again. Just make sure to choose Enpass as the passkey provider during the process. That way, it’ll be saved directly in the Enpass app, and you’ll be able to use it easily across supported platforms.

Hi, as I said above I have Enpass selected as auto fill default option. When I login in my pocketID admin page and generate new passkey I have only Google option.
