Fill in username/password with browser pop-up

Featured Replies

Hello!

First of all, great tool, i love it!

When i try to log-in to a phpMyAdmin interface in Chrome the browser will come with a pop-up. I can't find a way to automatically let enpass fill in this form? Any thoughts about that :)...?

Regards,

Maico

Hi pijnen, in this scenario you have to manually copy username and password to fill in the dialog. Such popups are not at DOM level but at native level. At present there are almost no APIs in the browsers that support the ability for extensions to grab the htaccess prompts and thus we cannot support it. To grab such popups the companies behind browsers must add required apis.

Lastpass does it fine. I'm looking for alternatives for lastpass though, as their servers have been down a few times recently and apparently that's when you discover that offline logon doesn't work at all.

Roboform attaches a "toolbar" to every window (including popups) and then matching can be done. Just trying to give ideas as that might be easy to implement.
