rafaeltg
hello guys I'm wondering if it is secure to install this version of enpass directly from Deepin Store I'm using Deepin 15.6 If it is not, what would be the best way to install the software? Thanks
Anshu kumar
Hi @rafaeltg, Thanks for writing in. I would like to share that Enpass for Linux has been officially released only from our website. So you should install it from there only as installing it from other websites or stores might put you in trouble of security risks due to any possible tempering of setup executable. Cheers! Anshu kumar
Hi @rafaeltg, Thanks for writing back. Please make sure you have "lsof" dependency installed on your system. If the problem still persists, please run lsof -i:10391 command in the terminal and share the output via support@enpass.io 10391 is the port number here. If it shows no output (blank), please try with other port numbers between 10391 to 10395. Also please let me know if you are facing the same problem with the other browsers (Firefox/Opera) as well. Thanks for your co-operation!

electrolund
I installed Enpass from the Deepin store. I can confirm too, that both the Chrome and Firefox extensions don't seem to connect to the app. If I have the app open and confirm that Browser connections are enabled, yet autofill is broken still in both browsers. A new tab will open very briefly with the communication error message and then auto-close. Yet, autofill doesn't start. I will attempt to uninstall and re-install from direct download from the Enpass site.
