I have to change the password of my ownlcoud every 3 month.

This means i have to remove the whole sync account and add it again.

Would it be possible to just ask the user to re-enter their passwords if the auth fails?

Yes, pls this is still an annoying issue and easy to fix/improve

 

Either ask to reenter the password or keep URL and username for the webdav server in-tact/the same when you remove the webdav folder (so that you still have the option to edit them but don't have to)

Yeah, there should just be an edit action for WebDAV where you can edit URL, username, and password fields. I have moved around my folders quite some times and I ended up recreating WebDAV connections for six vaults every time, times 2 (on mobile as well).
