There is a known problem with Enpass 6.0 and Sophos, and I am aware of the work-around.

However, the work-around is not always applicable when Sophos is centrally managed.

Enpass 5.6.9 did not have this problem, so it is clearly possible for Enpass to work without resorting to such workarounds.

Is there any timeline for properly resolving this?

Interestingly - although neither firefox nor chrome work with Sophos (without the workaround), Brave works fine (even through it is using the same extension as Chrome).

Configure browser push notifications
Chrome (Android)
  1. Tap the lock icon next to the address bar.
  2. Tap Permissions → Notifications.
  3. Adjust your preference.
Chrome (Desktop)
  1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Site settings.
