iOS app not sync'ing automatically

I have one small issue with the iOS app: It does not sync automatically.

I have to manually go to Settings > Sync, and it immediately starts sync'ing. Is there a way to set a sync interval, e.g., every hour? Or can it be set to sync immediately when something changes?

This is with Dropbox as storage, not sure how it behaves with other cloud providers.

Hey @Andrew Myers

Sorry for the trouble you are going through.

Please share some more info so that we can help you better.

  • On which all devices (along with OS version) are you using Enpass?
  • Which Enpass version are you using on each device?
  • Which cloud services are you using to sync?
  • Are you getting any error message or code while syncing?
  • Does the Date and Time setting set to automatic on all devices?

Thanks for your co-operation.

I have the same problem.

1. Two iPhones X, running OS 12.2

2. iOS is running Enpass 6.0.6 (234). Windows Desktop is running the latest Enpass version.

3. iCloud

4. No error messages. As mentioned by the OP, the sync works fine, except it does not sync automatically, behind the scene, as soon as any change is detected. I have to open Enpass on iPhone and wait for like 10-15 seconds for Enpass to sense that it needs to start syncing and then the sync circle starts and the sync is done. Most of the time when I am on a website, trying to enter the password and that automatically takes me to Enpass, it will not find the entry for website on enpass, because the sync was not done previously.

5. Yes the date and time setting is automatic on all devices.

Hello.

iOS - 12.2 on iPhone 6 Plus.  Enpass version 6.0.6

Windows 10 Professional.  Enpass 6.0.6 (322)

File is hosted in Dropbox.

Date and time is automatically set on both devices (both appear to be showing the correct time in my timezone - Australian EST)

The error shown is below in the first screenshot.  If I click Resolve Now I see what is shown in the second screenshot. Merging seems to resolve it but the problem seems to constantly reappear.
