February 4, 20197 yr Hello, i have a problem with the new Update 6.0.4 (304) on Mac. I use the new (Enpass 5 old) option that i can disable the menu bar icon, but if i want to close the main window of Enpass it would closed it completly. In the old enpass 5 you could close the Main window with the x but the enpass process was always running into the background... Regards from Germany.
February 5, 20197 yr Confirmed on Enpass 6.0.4 (329). It looks like the problem may be that Settings > General > Hide dock icon when the main window is closed isn't working properly. I just turned OFF the Menu Bar icon and turned ON the persistent Dock icon, but when I close the Enpass window, the Dock icon goes away anyway, and Enpass is no longer running in the background. In short, if you don't have the persistent Menu Bar icon, closing the window is the same as quitting the app. This is definitely a bug.
February 5, 20197 yr Hi guys, Thanks for reporting the issue. I have noted the issue and it will be fixed in upcoming updates.
December 30, 20196 yr HI, its look like that this bug is in version 6.3.3 (584) back. If I press cmd+w Enpass will close completely.
January 3, 20206 yr Hi @JFS, We have tested the same functionality and it seems everything is working as expected. Pressing the cmd+w command closes the windows but the Enpass app remains in the menu bar. Could you please try restarting the device and let us know if you face any issues?
January 3, 20206 yr Hi, thanks for your reply! Yes I tried to use cmd+w or click the red x in the left top area. But if the window is closed Enpass will not open if I click the shortcut (alt+cmd+.). If i take a look if the process of enpass is present, but have no entries in the activitytool. I have also attached my settings from the generally tab. I use the Enpass 6.3.3 (584) on a High Sierra 10.13.6 (17G5019). Cheers
January 4, 20206 yr Author I also have no problems with the current version on the Mac. Everything works as it should. Enpass 6.3.3 (584) on Mojave 10.14.6
