How to update Enpass 6 on Linux?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I'm currently running Enpass 6.0.1 (239) on Gentoo Linux. On the website (https://www.enpass.io/downloads/) I can see that version 6.0.6 is already available. When usimg Help/Check for Updates Enpass says there are no updates.

How can I update my Enpass version? A deb file would be perfect for me.

Hi,

I've published gentoo ebuilds for Enpass 6 on github: https://github.com/flbdx/enpass-overlay

It's currently up-to-date, but no promise for future releases :-)

If you want to monitor new releases from the official Debian repository, you can check the following URLS :

$ wget -q -O- 'https://apt.enpass.io/dists/stable/InRelease'|grep 'Date'
Date: Tue, 5 Mar 2019 13:55:15 UTC
$ wget -q -O- 'https://apt.enpass.io/dists/stable/main/binary-amd64/Packages' |grep Filename
Filename: pool/main/e/enpass/enpass_6.0.6.323_amd64.deb

Thanks for taking the time to do this. I'm trying to emerge on pentoo system, but getting a warning that the package is masked.

Are there any special unmasking steps that need to be taken in order for this to work?

--autounmask switch appended to emerge command did not resolve.
