Tuxmann Posted June 1, 2019 Report Posted June 1, 2019 Has the custom template import been finalised or dropped? I purchased Enpass for MacOS and Android. I can create and copy templates to expand as custom templates, but find no way to use them to import from previous Password Managers. On import, only the system templates can be used.
Tuxmann Posted October 24, 2023 Author Report Posted October 24, 2023 (edited) Well, it's been 4 years since the request to expand template imports of other password managers with Enpass custom templates. Others also mentioned the need for a general/flexible import template. Will it become purchasable feature some time, when Enpass get closed for the new pricing models/Plans, just as many OS projects become proprietary software? Pity. Now using another PW-Manager that allows custom import templates. Edited October 24, 2023 by Tuxmann
OOge Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 Enpass is dead. There is no active development. Issues aren't resolved. Promised things aren't developped. If you bought a lifetime enpass it is great and you can use it. But if you have a subcription you should leave
Abhishek Dewan Posted October 25, 2023 Report Posted October 25, 2023 Hi @Tuxmann You can import any template in pre-formatted CSV within Enpass. To do so, follow the below steps- Open Enpass > Click on File from Enpass Menu > Import > Select pre-formatted CSV > Select the login type as Other Miscellaneous and location > Continue > Select the vault in which you wish to import particular data and tap on continue. Please refer to the FAQ for steps to import data using a CSV file.
