  2. More than 1Tb which should hopefully be enough for a text export. Maybe the fact that I have 529 items is the culprit? Maybe it's too much to handle for the export tool? (although in that case it still should parse it, just in chunks). Just tried again on my Windows laptop, happens there as well.
  3. Thank you for the time and thought put into your response. I wasn’t asking for anyone’s permission to use weak passwords. I was asking whether or not they WERE weak in the first place. These other sites say they are not. It sounds like you’re saying all these other sites are wrong The point of password managers is NOT to use the most secure passwords possible. It is to use the most secure passwords *acceptable.* That’s why the Enpass Password generator has a rating system. It encourages the average user to use an *acceptable* level of password security. No typical user is going to use a 40-char password. In fact, the Enpass generator doesn’t recommend that. It would seem in your judgement that the generator would therefore be faulty. Also, if someone were to recommend an 80-char password, then your password would not be seen as strong “enough” and therefore unacceptable. Where does it end? What is “enough?” Thats the point of my question. Somewhere along the spectrum lies a point between “enough” and “too much.” Where is that? How do we know? Is the Enpass Generator enough or too much? Suggesting ever longer and longer passwords is not the answer. That just becomes more and more of the “too much.” 40, 80, 600 characters. What is enough? Do I have the answer to this? No. Of course not. I’m just the one posing the question, hopefully ably enough to get the ball rolling. And you’ve helped keep the ball rolling, which I appreciate. I just feel like we’ve still missed something. Do we have reason to believe that all the other sites are wrong, and the Enpass generator is right, as far as “enough” and “acceptable“ are concerned? How do we judge? Maybe there’s a study that shows a test of the passwords generated by these sites, or something similar. I don’t know. It’s possible I’m not even asking the question correctly, in which case I apologize for wasting anyone’s time trying to figure it out. I’ve definitely waded out pretty deep on this one and I’m not even sure how well I can swim.
  4. Do you have enough disk space to export to? I ran into that problem.

  6. Hi, I'm unable to export my vault's data into a file using any available format (JSON / CSV / TXT). I always receive an error "An error occured while exporting the vault" (see attached screenshot). Error occurs both in the App Store version of the app and the one downloaded from the website (freshly installed). I've tried selecting the Documents or Desktop folders, making subfolders in them, different file names - nothing seems to work. I also tried enabling the logs in the Advanced section of the Settings, but it just shows me an empty output (so I assume this error is not even being logged). Enpass version: 6.10.1 (1661) MacOS version: Sonoma 14.4.1 (M1 chip)
  7. Thank you for sharing the details and your efforts in providing information. I've reported this issue to the Enpass technical team. They are currently investigating it, and I will reach out to you with updates as soon as I receive them. #SI-3501

  9. Enpass (and Safari Extension) 6.9.5 (1640). Yes, this is on Safari 17.4.1, macOS 14.4.1. All appears up-to-date.
  10. Hey, the forum is quite full with syn errors - since 2021 - the same issue is reported again and again. The longest one is: For me this happens several times a week. I love enpass but after 3 years unsolved issue I lost the trust in (does it really exit?) the support. My last try to report it and then it is time to change. The exact error message is: "Sync Error Password of data on WebDav is required". If I press resolve I should enter my master password which I do. But my master password isn't accepted (I'm 100% sure it was correct!) with message "Incorrect Master Password". I never changed my master password, by the way. The only way I found is to delete all files on webdav and disconnect the sync and do it again. It happens random around twice a week. But overall the issue appears since at least 3 years!! I'm using Enpass on iOS (6.9.5 (802) and on two Windows 11 machines (6.10.1 (1661)) I hope you can help me...Thanks

  15. With Enpass, you can only create one vault per cloud account. However, to organize passwords into different sections like you did with vaults in 1Password, you can use categories within Enpass. Simply create categories for "Me", "Wife", and "Shared", and then organize your items accordingly into these categories. This will allow you to maintain a similar organization structure within Enpass while utilizing a single cloud account for synchronization.
  16. Hi there, I managed to get my head around passkeys and roughly how it works. Unfortunately Enpass provides very little information on how to set up your Enpass app to work with passkeys and how to make Enpass store the keys. Anyway, I think I've worked it out after a lot of reading forum posts. However, it seems that Enpass is not on the option list to store a newly generated key. I have added keys for Google accounts, eBay, GitHub but non of them have been stored in Enpass. They do, however, work fine. But stored in the Google vault. Only two sites for which I have created keys have been stored in Enpass and that's PayPal and passkeys.io (testing account). When generating those keys, Enpass was actually shown as the place to store the keys. I'm using the latest Enpass Version 6.10.1 (982). On Pixel 8. Latest Android Brave browser and Google Chrome browser. Am I missing something? *** Another attempt *** Just tried adding a key to another testing site (see screenshot). Same problem, you can see it's adding the key to the Google vault. PS: A proper set up guide would really be appreciated. Including what options to set in Enpass and how to check if everything is working. Bitwarden for example provides a lengthy detailed YT Video. Enpass has a 20sec music clip with flashing images nobody can follow.
  17. When I import from 1Password, all folders (Vaults in 1pw) and subfolders are made into tags in Enpass. So I have now manually deleted all those passwords. However, I prefer to store my passwords in folders, since I find it hard to organise things in long list and only with tags. Like: I would like the passwords that has to do with my hobbies to be in one folder (called vaults in 1Password). I know there is a possibility to make vaults in EnPass aswell, but as I understand I need to have them in another I<cloud, it is not possible to have more than one in my "main" iCloud? or have I totally misunderstood? I wonder, since I would like to get a family account and then want vaults for me,. my wife and one with the ones we share. in 1Password I have: - Vault Me - Vault Wife - Vault Shared

  19. To cancel your iOS subscription for Enpass, you can follow these steps: Open the App Store app on your iOS device. Tap on your profile picture or initials at the top right corner to access your account. Tap on "Subscriptions." You should see a list of active subscriptions associated with your Apple ID. Find "Enpass" in the list and tap on it. Select "Cancel Subscription" and follow the prompts to confirm. This should allow you to cancel your subscription directly from your iOS device. If you don't see Enpass listed under subscriptions or if you encounter any issues, please let us know, and we'll assist you further.
  20. To help us investigate the issue, please provide the following details: Enpass and OS of your machine. Firefox version. If there is a specific URL where this issue is occurring. Feel free to let me know if you have any specific details or questions you'd like to discuss.
  21. Any feedback on when (or if) this feature was ever introduced in the mobile versions?
  22. hi, Google has recently updated how their gmail web login looks (and functions?) and since then Enpass is no loger able to autofill the web login (not gmail app) using Firefox on iOS. It only affects the email address. The password does work if I manually input the email address. Please fix as I do login to gmail pretty often.
  23. Hi, I got an email notification from Apple that my iOS Premium subscription is due for renewal and I want to cancel - I already have a Lifetime Pro plan - but there is no way to do it. The link the email doesn't work and under "Subscriptions" in my Apple account there's no sign of Enpass. How do I cancel an iOS subscription?
  24. Enpass does not open any attachments. Text files from 1PW that were in Notes show up fine and are editable. Attachment files from 1PW like images, or pdf's correctly ended up in the Attachments for each entry in Enpass, the files are listed but cannot click on them to view them. When clicking on the three dots to the right, all that comes up is a Save button that saves the file anywhere else, then it can be viewed outside of Enpass, but cannot be opened / viewed within Enpass. See screencap: Just ran a test adding an attachment file to a new entry in Enpass and it works as expected, that file is viewable within Enpass, when clicking on the three dots, now the attachment has the added "Open" option along with the "Save" option. So it seems that imported attachment files cannot be opened, but newly created ones can. Here's the test screencap: Thanks.

  28. I'd like to clarify that currently on desktop, Enpass can open a viewer for image and text (TXT) files only. For other file formats, you need to download the file first and then open it with the appropriate software. Could you please confirm if you're experiencing issues opening TXT files as well? Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. I'm here to help!
