I have problem for login to telegram web using passkey on firefox . Based on my research this problem is related to password mangers. I've attached screenshot of console, hope it help to solve the problem.

I have a question about how Passkeys and two-factor authentication (2FA) with one-time passwords (OTP) work together on Amazon, especially when using Enpass.

Currently, I have the following set up on my Amazon account:

• Two-factor authentication with a one-time code (OTP)

• Additionally, a Passkey

What I don’t fully understand:

• How do Passkeys and traditional 2FA logically interact?

• Do I need to disable 2FA (OTP) in order to properly use a Passkey?

• If so, is my Amazon account still secure enough?

• Or is it possible and recommended to use both at the same time?

I’m also specifically interested in the workflow with Enpass:

• When I log in to Amazon and 2FA is required, can Enpass automatically provide the one-time code?

• Is it possible for the OTP to be automatically copied to the clipboard so I only need to paste it?

• What does the typical login flow look like when both Passkey and OTP are enabled?

My goal is to understand the logic behind this and find the most secure yet convenient setup.

I'm also a Developer and one thing that I would like to find out is, how we can implement OTP autofill with enpass on our websites?

For example: I visit a webpage, I use my keyboard shortcut to fill out the username and password and submit the form. Now the OTP field shows up and I want enpass to automatically, or with the same keyboard shortcut, to fill out the OTP field.

Is this possible? How does the HTML Input field need to look like? Special name, type or attribute?

Enpass worked on the old system a few weeks ago

The new screen has 2 fields ... Email ID and Password.  

The Enpass login (I've manually updated the url) doesn't populate either field

I've tried changing the Enpass field name from Username to Email ID (and the Field type) but it did not help.  Enpass ignores the Email ID field in both cases.

As for the Password field, Enpass offers to generate a password for me.

So, my question is, what would trigger Enpass to recognise the two fields as username and password ?

Presumably it is something about the setup of the web page that Enpass is looking for ... and the web page needs updating

OR is there a way I can get Enpass to work as it is.

I should say that the "Save form" option never appears on the Assistant

Samsung released an update to their android browser which states they have improved 3rd party autofillers.

It seems bitwarden got it to work. Will Enpass further improve on autofill and Samsung internet as well?

I have started using Enpass to autofill logins (username/passwords) on a new MacBook Air. I have that working fine without issues (Chrome + the extension enabled).

This seems to turn off Chrome's autofill capabilities, which I liked because it would autofill my name and address on various websites when required. Is there a way for Enpass to do this? If not, is there a way to enable Chrome's autofill just for name/address on sites when prompted?

I have been a loyal Lifetime Premium user of Enpass.

However, I am currently experiencing a frustrating issue with the autofill service on the "Cromite" browser.

The Problem:

Enpass does not recognize the URL in the address bar of Cromite. It only detects the package name org.cromite.cromite. Therefore, the inline autofill on Gboard does not appear properly.

Why this matters:

I have tested Proton Pass and Bitwarden, and both of them correctly detect the URL on Cromite and show autofill suggestions without any issues.

Since Cromite is my main browser, this is a deal-breaker for me. I am considering switching to another service if this cannot be resolved.

Please consider adding support for the Cromite package (org.cromite.cromite) to your browser detection logic.

now when i click cancel, this shows. It sometimes happenend that the enpass window opens and asks me for a login to the enpass chrome extension, but once I login, I also get this popup

is there any visible reason why it would not fill the email / password field? It does show possible entries in the enpass dropdown, but once i click on them nothing happenes and i need to copy paste it manually from the enpass app to the email / password field. 

any idea what the problem could be would really help me (i am working on the buildplace.io page, so i could change code here...)

1. I open the URL to the application. It is forwarded to the SSO login form. 2. I select the Authentik Login item in Enpass via the Chrome extension. The item has "https://authentik.simonszu.de" as the saved URL, since that is the most common denominator between all SSO-secured applications as well as the admin interface of the SSO server. 

3. As a result, the Enpass extension causes Chrome to open a new tab, with the address bar containing only "https://authentik.simonszu.de/if/flow/default-authentication-flow/?next=%2F", so, no reference to the callback URL to the actual application any more. 

4. If i try to do step 2 again in the new tab, Enpass does not fill the credentials, but rather opens a third tab, containing the same address in the address bar as in step 3. 

5. I can repeat step 3 and for for infinite time, causing Enpass and Chrome to open more and more tabs, and not logging in properly. 

Is there a flag where i can tell Enpass to simply fill in the credentials, and not trying to open the URL it has defined in the login item in a new tab? That would be nice. 

I have a bug on macOS with the Microsoft website. When I try to log in, it prompts me for a passkey that I have stored in Enpass. I validate the passkey, but nothing happens on Safari. How can I fix this issue?

This is especially useful for sites like PayPal, which now separate the email and password fields onto different pages.

However, I have found that this functionality does not always work.

Because this feature does not always work, I have found myself doing one of two things:

1. I have found myself waiting for several seconds before I realise the extension has not clicked the login button. I then have to manually click login.
2. I have found myself assuming the extension has not clicked the login button, and going to manually click login just as the browser loads the next page, leading to me clicking something on the next page by accident.

Both of these are frustrating. I have been tempted to switch this feature off for more consistency, but as I said it is very useful for certain sites with multiple login steps.

Why does this feature not always work? Is there something I can do to make it work more consistently?

I am using Mozilla Firefox (141.0.3) on MS Windows 11 (24H2 build 26100.4946).

Before switching to Enpass, I used Codebook for several years. That app allowed control over the input process on a site-by-site basis. So, for example, you could set a given site up to input the {email} followed by a {wait3} and then {password} and then {wait3} followed by {OTP}, or something like that (I've used Enpass for a long time now, so my memory is hazy). When it works, Enpass is better because it just does it right without manual intervention. But when it doesn't work, it would be good to have some control over this.

Setting this up in Firefox took a bit of work, because by default Firefox uses this keyboard shortcut to exit / close the browser window. Fortunately, there is an off switch for that shortcut in Firefox.

I've been using Enpass and Firefox for months without issue. But recently, I've noticed that the Enpass extension for Firefox on my home PC no longer opens via the keyboard shortcut. It still works fine on my work laptop, though (same version of Firefox: 138.0.1, but it also didn't work at home in the previous version, and my work laptop was fine in the previous version).

I have also noticed that if I try to reset the keyboard shortcut at home to CTRL+SHIFT+Q, I see an "Invalid combination" message, which I don't remember seeing before. I'm not sure if this is due to an update to Enpass, or an update to Firefox. I suspect the former.

I am going to try and uninstall and reinstall both Firefox and Enpass to resolve this issue, but I thought I would also post here to see if anyone else is having this trouble or if this is a deliberate change. If it's a deliberate change, that will be annoying as I've used this combination for ages now and there are few options remaining for a one-handed combination (many of the combinations in this area of the keyboard are used for other purposes). For additional context, I use CTRL+ALT+Q to open the main Enpass app, and CTRL+SHIFT+Q to activate the browser extension, so I really just switch between SHIFT and ALT. I would rather not have to go looking for a paired combination.

Any help, advice or support would be appreciated.

On one of my machines, this happens more often than I think it should, seems to be after each fresh reboot, fresh master password, then browser open.

Is this the norm now? or an option that has been turned on, that I can turn off, or a bug?

with enabled autofill (enpass 6.11.5.2 in firefox 140.0) some websites are broken.

https://kundenportal.ewe-netz.de/ reports this error in console:

with disabled enpass extension, the page load without errors.

I am not sure what the issue is here and searching does not give me much. Most of what I find is from users that does not get the option to save a new login (via the pop-up), but I do get that option; problem is as mentioned that the app does not save the creds when I ckeck OK to save.
