Change the context/right click menu so that a single click of a website automatically opens it.

Often I end up clicking other links because it's currently clunky.
First I single click and it only highlights, then I double click accidentally clicking whatever is behind the context menu.

Thanks for writing in. I'm afraid to say that I am not able to understand where exactly you're getting problem with clicking the context menu. Please explain the scenario a bit more mentioning the OS where you're facing the issue.
