  1. When I start Windows, Enpass 6.12.0 (2238) opens in my face on the desktop. Can I make it open discreetly minimized to the system tray like older versions did?
  2. I do not like the new font spacing, nor the spacing of everything in general! I like to see as much data as I can on my screen, and now I get at least 20% less! Please add a way to put the spacing back! Looking at the Sections from Left to Right: Categories / Tags Visible | Item List Count Visible | Item Details Visible | v6.11.20 31 Visible | 15 Visible (same) | 19 (5 SECTION TITLES) Visible | v6.12 25 Visible | 15 Visible (same) | 15 (5 SECTION TITLES) Visible | The top Information Bar is also WAY TO BIG! Attached are a screen shot comparisons taken using the exact same dimensions. v6.11.20 v6.12.0 So far, I'm not liking the "improvements" at all. In addition to the Spacing being Way TOO BIG, and all the special highlighting of every row on the Item Details when moving your mouse over them is very distracting, and having to click the hamburger (3 little) dots to choose "copy"...now it's 2 clicks instead of just one. I'm not sure why you guys are messing with the already great UI you already have!!! I'm sure all the "under the hood" things are great, but please leave the UI as it is! Please put it back!
  3. For Enpass Business users, please ask your organization Admin to follow the steps below: Log in to the Enpass Admin Console Navigate to Policies → Advanced Enable (check) the option: “Disable passkey creation and sign-in” Save the changes. Once this policy is enabled, Enpass will no longer prompt for passkey creation or sign-in, while all other secure credential storage features will continue to work normally.
  4. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for supporting Enpass. We understand your concern about Linux updates coming later than Windows and macOS. We have passed your feedback to our team.
  5. Subject: Regressing usability: Fixed fields, wasted space, and broken search in v6.12 Hi Enpass Team, I need to express my deep frustration with the recent v6.12 UI refresh. The update is a massive step backward in usability for several reasons: Locked Customization: Preventing users from customizing, renaming, or freely moving standard fields above "Personal Data" ruins the flexibility that made Enpass great. Previously, I could fully customize my layouts (e.g., changing generic titles like "Security Question"). Forcing users into a rigid template structure is unacceptable. Wasted Screen Space & Bad UX: The new font and row spacing is way too big, resulting in significantly less information visible on the screen. The new row hover highlights are visually distracting. Furthermore, basic actions are now more complicated, such as requiring two clicks via a three-dot menu to copy a password instead of just one. Broken Search: The search functionality in v6.12 has become completely unreliable, often failing to find data that is clearly present in the vault upon manual inspection. As an early adopter who backed Enpass from the very beginning with a Pro Lifetime License, it hurts to see the software moving in this direction. We supported this project years ago precisely because of its high flexibility and efficiency. Destroying these core features now feels like a betrayal of your most loyal long-term users. This lifetime license is the only reason I am not switching to a competitor immediately. Because v6.12 is essentially unusable for my workflow, I have completely uninstalled it and downgraded back to version 6.11.21. Please do not ignore the feedback of the people who helped build your foundation. Restore the full customizability of all fields, fix the search, and provide options for compact spacing. I will remain on the old version until the previous behavior is restored.

  8. This is for the Windows version. I'm "update averse", as nearly all software updates these days break software or degrade usability for the sake of changes, so I was scared to apply the update, seeing that Enpass was redesigned. I fully expected a disaster. I have to admit though, that I was not a complete disaster as this new Enpass improved the looks and the functionality without breaking too much. Well, for the most part... The main content screen is mostly nice, definitely an improvement over the old one, it's cleaner, looks better and I like the new dark mode, the old one was black, like the early Windows 10 dark mode. I like the addition of standard menus in the upper left too. But, it's not all that good, I see few annoying issues. I don't like that the notes field is now an eye scorching bright yellow and that it's folded by default. Can you please consider adding an option to make notes the same color as the window, the way it used to be, and not fold/hide it by default? I use notes a lot and it's now very uncomfortable to look at them when working in dark mode in a dimly lit room. It literally lights up the room when unfolded. And you missed the opportunity to make the notes field re-sizable in edit mode which would be more of an improvement than the painfully bright, yellow color. There is no need to associate "notes" with "yellow" any more, even Post-it started offering blue, white and gray stickies over a decade ago. The new icons are also too bright, too colorful, this is unnecessary decoration that adds nothing but visual noise. Can we please have the option to go back to the old gray glyphs or hide them altogether as they are nearly as painful as the yellow notes? Same for item icons, you increased the saturation. I use website icons whenever possible and the default icons do stick out. I'm not too crazy about the new settings either. It looks and works too much like the dreaded Windows 11 Settings App, but I suppose I can get used to it. There is too much empty space and display density is low like on mobile devices. Now everything is too big and there is more scrolling required to access settings while the window can't be enlarged. This is a regression in usability. And for what? For the dozen of people who use Windows on mobile devices? Overall, pretty decent update except for the few jarring color choices. Please consider adding options to address those annoyances. Thank you.
  9. Please Add Option to have the NOTES FILED OPEN AUTOMATICALLY as with the previous Desktop App
  10. The font used throughout the interface is too small, making it more difficult to read despite the increased spacing; there's no way to increase the size. **I'd rather see fewer items in a larger font (and have to scroll more) than see more items in a smaller, less readable size (and have to scroll less). The box for editing notes is too small. Some of my entries have multiple pages of writing and editing them is annoying in the small box. Having a yellow background for notes is unnecessary and can be harsh on the eyes. Yes, it is the color of a Post-It or a yellow pad of paper, but it's unpleasant. It would be great to have the background for notes be black or white in line with the dark or light theme - or allow the user to choose the color of the background and especially the size of the font. Highlighting of every row on the Item Details when moving your mouse over them is annoying and distracting. Glad to hear about improvements under the hood and I'll get used to the new interface, but I dislike the above. Where can I download the previous version?
  11. As the title says. My other apps (Spotify, Firefox) restart without issues. It is annoying finding that the app is not running when I need it. Can we make some improvements for this case?
  12. I tried to save a passkey to Enpass from Chase in Firefox. When I attempt to save the passkey, I get "It looks like something went wrong. Try adding a passkey again." So far, I have: Tried this on a different brower like Brave with enpass extension. The same thing happened. Tried this on a different password manager, in this case Bitwarden and the passkey was saved in firefox and Brave. In either case, the extension was configure to save passkeys. Tried on MacOS, Linux, and Windows.
  13. ...and Version 6.12.0 (2400) / 6.1200.2400.0 is still crashing on launch on Windows 10
  14. I like the the new theme, it catches up the design from the initial simple UWP design language, also making the UIs of Linux and Windows more similar (you ditched dark theme for classic theme on windows few years ago for some reason) I still agree with @bu11etpr00f on the unnecessary extra click for Copy, and the expand button for Note fields seems unneeded too. Good job that you allow Notes to get more space when windows is maximized though. (once expanded). I do miss the one-column view that you got rid of (now you can only have a two or three column view) I would like to be able to to hide the menu-bar, it clutters the nice ui and I never use it.
  15. So far, I'm not liking the "improvements" at all. The Spacing is Way TOO BIG, and all the special highlighting of every row on the Item Details when moving your mouse over them is very distracting, and having to click the hamburger (3 little) dots to choose "copy"...now it's 2 clicks instead of just one. 16. Passkey login has to be requested by the site. Enpass can't just offer it. If the website only shows a password login form and then wants to create a new passkey, that's the websites fault.
  17. 1 point
Add the ability to control the font and font size to Appearance settings.
  18. I would like to clarify that the issue is about Enpass doesn't restart after the Enpass app itself is updated by Microsoft Store, that is not related to a system reboot.
