  1. I can't believe it. Someone actually tackled the problem. And successfully, too! An update was released immediately: [UPGRADE] enpass:amd64 6.11.12.1953 -> 6.11.13.1957.It would be helpful if the key were installed directly in the correct directory. Here's how to do it without sudo: # curl -fsSL "https://apt.enpass.io/keys/enpass-linux.key" | gpg --quiet --dearmor | tee /usr/share/keyrings/enpass.gpg >/dev/nulland the source in the new DEB822 format: ~$ cat /etc/apt/sources.list.d/enpass.sources Types: deb URIs: https://apt.enpass.io/ Suites: stable Components: main Signed-By: /usr/share/keyrings/enpass.gpg
  2. When generating a password, the "Separated By" drop down allows us to choose one of several separators that will be used throughout the entire password. This functionality is good but I think it can be made better by adding a "multi" option that randomly picks a different separator character between each word. For example if the current separator is "Underscore" then the password would be "Correct_horse_battery_staple". Swiching to the "multi" option would result in a password like "Correct_horse,battery$staple", or "Correct-horse.battery staple" or "Correct$horse#battery_staple" etc.
  3. Hey Enpass community! We’ve got something exciting to share - Enpass is getting a fresh new look, now more consistent with the Windows 11 experience. Plus, Enpass for Windows is now a native 64-bit and ARM64 app, bringing faster performance and improved memory usage. Everything you know and rely on works exactly the same, it just looks and feels a whole lot better. This is also just the beginning—Enpass for Mac with the all-new look lands in the next few days too! Here’s what’s new: A more modern visual refresh across the entire app Cleaner layouts and improved spacing throughout Refined icons, buttons, and text that feel sharper and more modern Every part of the app has been revamped- the sidebar, your item lists, item details, autofill, sharing, password generator, lock screen, and more Redesigned Settings More spacious and easier to read, so finding what you need is much more convenient. Everyday tasks feel smoother Things like adding items and importing data now take fewer steps. Get things done faster and more efficiently. And the most important part: it’s still the same Enpass you know and love. All your data and all your passwords remain secure and under the hood. We’ve just made everything nicer to look at and easier to use. Thanks for being a part of the Enpass community - you’re the reason we keep making it better. Check out the Beta version here and try out the new Enpass today. Note for Beta Testers Your data and settings will carry over automatically. Once updated, please take a moment to check that your vaults, items, and preferences are all in place. If you run into any issues, reach out to us at support@enpass.io. -The Enpass Team
  4. 1password and bitwarden started integrated win11 passkey support. Is there any plan for enpass? https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/windows-itpro-blog/windows-11-expands-passkey-manager-support/4467572
  5. While I was a firm believer in Enpass for many years, recent developments have convinced me that this has turned into nothing more than a cash grab. The product is no longer user-oriented and shows little to no real focus on improvement. At this point, I honestly believe the software itself is essentially dead. Development feels stagnant, communication is minimal, and critical issues keep piling up without meaningful action. I can no longer recommend Enpass, even though I personally convinced more than six people to adopt it in the past. The way the “team” handles requests, bug reports, and improvement suggestions is simply unacceptable and, frankly, business-killing. I’m not even convinced there is a real team left, it feels more like a handful of people copy-pasting AI-generated responses. Letting something as basic as a signature expire only reinforces the impression that they no longer care. For users on a monthly subscription, my honest advice is to cancel and switch to an alternative. For those of us who paid for a “lifetime” license: I’m still trying to figure out how to get out of this without just writing it off as a loss.
  6. Team, Per the Title, Is it possible for the Enpass Team to add Proton Drive to the Cloud Sync services? I would love to be able to move my vaults over. Thanks again!!
  7. The recent addition of the PRF (Pseudo-Random Function) extension to FIDO, which enables symmetric encryption, is indeed a key milestone we were waiting for. With this in place, we are actively working toward adding USB security key / FIDO2 support, including YubiKeys, in Enpass. Our goal is to support hardware keys both as a master-passwordless authentication method and as a multi-factor authentication (MFA) option. While we don’t have an exact release date to share yet, our current plan is to introduce this support in Q2 of this year. We appreciate your patience and continued interest.
  8. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsdeveloper/2024/10/08/passkeys-on-windows-authenticate-seamlessly-with-passkey-providers/ It’s a shame that we still don’t have an API for passwords but at least the passkeys version is arriving. Can Enpass please consider implementing it?
  9. Hello together, come on, guys, it's Christmas. Time to make people happy! So please support a coammnd-line interface to get passwords from Enpass. I want to use only one tool.. and this should not be KeePassX. Releates to: December 24, 2018 September 10, 2018 May 3, 2017 November 21, 2017 Thanks and BR Daniel
  10. To make it easier for you to copy and paste your Username, Password, and other fields simultaneously, we recommend enabling the “Always open Assistant in Docked mode” option in Enpass General settings. By enabling this feature, the Enpass Assistant will remain visible in the foreground, allowing for a smoother and more efficient experience while filling in your credentials.
  11. Thank you for reaching out. Ensuring your security is our top priority. We’ve released updates for all supported browsers starting with extension version 6.11.6. The issue has been confirmed as resolved by the original reporter (check the related blog post). To ensure your security, please update to the latest version (6.11.6) of the Enpass browser extension: https://www.enpass.io/downloads/
  12. We are excited to announce that we’ve addressed this issue in our latest Enpass macOS beta release: https://www.enpass.io/beta/ For the Enpass App Store version (requires macOS Monterey 12.0 or later), you can join our TestFlight program to access the beta. Alternatively, you can download the Website version of the Enpass macOS beta. Thank you for your patience, and we’ll notify you as soon as a stable update with the fix is officially released.
  13. Just updated to macOS Tahoe Beta 3 and enpass desktop doesn't work with this version either. Same symptoms and issues as Beta 2.
  14. I know it's bad manner to ask , but it's been like 2 weeks already , any update on this ?
  15. Our technical team is informed and is currently investigating the issue. We’ll update you as soon as we receive an update from them. #SI-4410
  16. Our technical team is actively addressing the issue. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work toward a solution. While there is no confirmed release date yet, the fix will be rolled out as soon as it’s ready. #SI-3955

6 Years and still counting on for this feature to be implemented.
  18. I've just started using Enpass and everything is looking god generally, but scrolling down my list of 600 logins items takes far too long. The spacing between each item is far more than is necessary. I'd be happy keeping the text the same size but shrink the space by one third or two thirds - so 3 options. Maybe offer text sizes too if you choose BUT changing the text size smaller would look really odd without changing line spacing.
  19. Hi, I'm using Enpass 6.6.1 from Microsoft Store on Windows 10. I have numerous apps from the Microsoft Store, including Enpass, that I have configured to 'launch with Windows start' One minor annoyance is that when Enpass updates itself from the Microsoft Store, it does not re-launch itself after the update. So I'll be at a website in my browser and click the Enpass extension button and nothing happens. I then see that Enpass is not running, and then have to go and manually launch it. I have other Store apps that 're-launch' after update. Could you please consider the same with Enpass? Then, one other related annoyance is that I drag the Enpass icon out of the hidden system tray icons for easier access as I use it so often. after every update, it reverts to being in the hidden system tray icons. again, I have other apps that retain my preference after update. Could you please consider the same with Enpass?
  20. Given it has been 4 years since my original request, this is clearly not a priority (especially as they focus all efforts on their Business version product, which this would also benefit mind you) or simply beyond their dev person (I'm reluctant to say 'team' given the slow rate of updates and fixes) capabilities.
  21. This is still not fixed. 👇 Enpass System Tray Icon Position Forgotten & Doesn't Automatically Open After Every Update

  23. Hi Amandeep, If you read my initial post above you'll see that I'm not having any problems purchasing Premium. The problem I have is in the way we are being treated. Back when Enpass started, I, and many others, paid extra for what was called "lifetime Pro", which was the highest feature level. Now, instead of respecting the support we gave, and keeping us on the highest level, Enpass has created new levels (Personal & Family, and Business), and demoted our level (Pro) to BELOW the new ones, (ie we now lack new features), and expects us to pay again to get up to even the LOWEST of the new levels. Let me know if you don't understand the issue.
  24. Firefox requests this permission so the Enpass extension can securely communicate with the Enpass desktop app using native messaging and a websocket connection. #SI-4373
  25. Over 2 months later, and more distributions are dropping X11. I just checked and Enpass is still unusable in the default Fedora GNOME/Wayland desktop environment. Without revealing any corporate secrets, can you advise whether a new release will occur any time soon?
  26. My apologizes for delayed feedback. First troubleshoot step fixed the problem. Thank you! Regards.
  27. Use wildcards to urls Hi i have a suggestion for the autocomplete. I have saved the login credentials for the desktop version of a site e.g. (www.facebook.com) when i try to login from my phone it gives me the mobile version of the site (m.facebook.com) and enpass cannot find the login credentials. My suggest is that the autofill to be able to recognize and use wildcards for the url e.g. (*.facebook.com)
  28. We are looking into the issue with the technical team and will follow up with an update soon. #SI-4367
  29. We're currently reviewing the issue with the technical team and will share an update soon.
  30. Enpass already supports the creation of custom categories. You can create and manage them from the “Categories” section within the app settings, helping you organize your logins and other items exactly the way you prefer.
  31. Hi! I was wondering if should be possible to have (for redundancy) a feature that allows for simultaneous synchronization to different cloud providers, instead of only one. This could be an option for having the maximum redundancy in case something goes wrong
  32. We've already added the feature you requested to our development roadmap, and I've passed your feedback along to the team. While we don't have a specific release timeline at the moment, please be assured that it will be available as soon as it's ready. #SI-1404
  33. That is a good approach! I quickly found the two affected records, and fixed it. Thanks for the suggestion!
  34. I guess one way to do this kind of easy would be exporting your entire vault and then searching in the created file for the affected entries. Then you could either clear all current entries in your vault and import the corrected export file. Or manually open all entries (after finding them in the exported file) and correct them. Not a nice way, but from my pov and knowledge the fastest/easiest.
  35. I've posted this in the topic mentioned and I also want to add it here - 1.5 years passed and this feature still not implemented. That's disappointing
  36. 1.5 years have passed and still no actual solution? really?.. it is extremely easy to forget to take off the "associate"-checkmark when logging to new sites via chrome, and then have it unintendedly displayed every time you open chrome sub-apps.
  37. Please try authenticating with Firefox. Other users reported the same issue and solved it with using Firefox. https://discussion.enpass.io/index.php?/topic/31671-icloud-sync-is-broken/#findComment-91732
  38. Please add the ability to Export Selected Items to CSV. This would be a really great thing to have in order to share certain information with a Customer / Family Member / Friend / Coworker / etc. I use Enpass to track assets, and not just passwords. It would be nice to Export Specific "Selected" ones to CSV (or something in a Human Readable Format). Thanks!
  39. It would be great to be able to use a non-propostional font. It would help a lot to structure notes and make it more readable. Thanks.
  40. The scrollbar is currently only visible when hovered over. This should be changed to “always visible” or at least “visible while scrolling.” With the hidden scrollbar, it is impossible to determine my current position in the list and the total length of the length – two important functions that a school should have. Thank you for considering this improvement. -- macOS 14.5 Sonoma, Enpass 6.11.0 (1676) Мас App Store
  41. Could you please add Fennec (a Firefox fork on F-Droid) to the list of supported browsers? So that URL detection will work? I guess it should not be that difficult, as it's basically Firefox.
  42. I would apperciate button to unhide password especially when there is a quite long masterpassword and typo, you have to retype pass again without easily just fix typo
  43. following up on this; why is there no apparent way to remove connected apps from enpass entries? I connected an entry to an app by accident and apparently cannot to remove it, causing the entry to now show up every single time. also: closing threads without any further information is very annoying for anyone finding them later: another related one without any information: Doesn't seem like a difficult feature to implement or (at least) a difficult question to answer to me.
  44. Enpass Wi-Fi Sync is a small WebDAV file server under the hood, restricted to a folder of your shared vaults. Since the server is on your local machine, its address is made discoverable by the Enpass client on your other devices via the mDNS protocol. Enpass client on other devices can discover running Wi-Fi Sync Server on the network and pair with it. The pairing can be done manually by verifying a code (to verify the server’s certificate) and access code (password for server) or by scanning a QR code that embeds all information required. Regards, Rachel Gomez
  45. It's been 5 years since this was first requested. Please prioritize this.
  46. Hi Team. Please, please, please make it possible to change the width of the middle column. It is necessary for very long usernames ... . Thanks in advance.
  47. Regarding this feature request, is there any information about whether the feature will be implemented?
