  1. Enpass published new instructions for X11 systems: Enpass apps & installation | Enpass HelpInstalling Enpass on your devices Enpass can be installed from the Windows Store, the Mac App Store, the iOS App Store, or the Play Store. Desktop versions of …For me it worked :-) If you are running a desktop environment that uses legacy X11 instead of Wayland (common on systems like Linux Mint or check which one you're using by running echo $XDG_SESSION_TYPE in your terminal) Bash echo "deb https://apt.enpass.io/ x11 main" | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/enpass.list Import key that is used to sign the release: wget -O - https://apt.enpass.io/keys/enpass-linux.key | sudo tee /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/enpass.asc After that, you can install Enpass as any other software package. sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install enpass
  2. Hi everyone, I can confirm I’m experiencing the exact same issue with version 6.12.6.2258 on Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. Like mentioned above, the application fails to start under an X11 session because the static Qt build seems to ship only with Wayland plugins (wayland, wayland-egl), completely missing the xcb (X11) platform plugin. My Setup: OS: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS (running X11/Xorg, not Wayland) Enpass Version: 6.12.6.2258 (installed via apt.enpass.io) Error Message: plain textKopierenFailed to create wl_display (No such file or directory) qt.qpa.plugin: Could not load the Qt platform plugin "wayland" in "" even though it was found. This application failed to start because no Qt platform plugin could be initialized. Available platform plugins are: wayland-egl, wayland. Troubleshooting steps already taken (no success): Setting QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb or GDK_BACKEND=x11 does not help, as the xcb plugin is simply not present in the installation directory (/opt/enpass/). Reinstalling the package via apt confirms the same broken version is installed. The binary /opt/enpass/Enpass exists and is executable, but crashes immediately due to the missing platform plugin. It clearly looks like a regression in the build configuration for this specific version. I’m holding off on downgrading for now and waiting for an official fixed build that includes the necessary X11 support. Thanks to the team for looking into this!

Hi I am using Enpass via WebDAV, which I set up in April 2025. I mainly use three devices to access my Enpass vault: a Windows laptop, an Ubuntu desktop, and an iOS device. Last Monday, 30 November, I created a new entry on my iOS device and saved it as usual. Yesterday, Wednesday 2 December, I was working on my Windows device and noticed that this latest entry was not available. I opened the Windows client and manually started the sync, as well as the sync on my iOS device. Both clients reported that the sync was successful, but the new entry was still missing. I then tried to add another entry on my iOS device, but this was also not synced. Adding a new entry on the Windows client also did not make it appear on the iOS device, even though both clients again confirmed a successful sync. I disconnected the WebDAV connection on my Windows client and re-enabled it; however, the new entry is still missing. When I check the last modified date of the WebDAV file, it shows 23 November as the most recent change. Where is this issue suddenly coming from, and how can I fix it? Should I delete all data on one of the clients and reconnect it?
  7. Unfortunately, this issue has been around for years, and nothing seems to have been done by the @Enpass Dev Team. Could you please clarify the current status? Why does Enpass initiate a Terminal window on startup (this also occurs on Linux)? Is there any way to prevent this behavior? It would be great to know whether the Enpass team plans to disable this in upcoming releases. Like many others here, I find this behavior quite irritating and unnecessary. Thank you!
  8. Hi @Amandeep Kumar Do you have any updates on FIDO2-support in Enpass? Many thanks!
  9. I am also interested, if and when FIDO2 will be supported. Is this on the roadmap of Enpass?
  10. I am a bit annoyed about the terminal popping up everytime when I start Windows. What is the reason for this?
