Hey all, Microsoft has officially announced the launch of the "stable" version of its new Edge Chromium browser for both Windows and Mac platforms today. When I start Windows, Enpass 6.12.0 (2238) opens in my face on the desktop. Can I make it open discreetly minimized to the system tray like older versions did?

Please fix. It happens on the latest Enpass version.

Just posted this on the new Reddit forum, but then I checked a few of the threads there and saw that none of them had ever been replied to, so I'm cross posting here. After upgrading to 6.12.0 per the in-app upgrade notice on Win10 the app won't launch; I just get the Crash Reporter saying it's sorry. I sent the crash report in then uninstalled, downloaded directly from the website and reinstalled, and got the same error. I sent that crash report in, too. While you work to fix this I need a link to download the previous version.

Enpass just updated on my Windows 10 desktop computer, but it won't open. It just keeps crashing. Two crash reports have been sent. I think the new Enpass version that is failing to run on my Windows 10 computer is 6.12.0 (2238). Please help with this new version as soon as possible. If not, I'll have to revert to the previous version. Please assist me to do this, if necessary.

I just updated to the new version 6.12.0 (2413) of Enpass on Windows 11. I like the new design, but unfortunately all of my custom icons are now very pixelated. I have a total of 450 entries and for all of them I created and saved custom icons myself (mostly based on the icons of the respective apps from the iOS App Store) so that everything looks clean and high-resolution (especially for websites whose favicons do not look good). I always used a resolution of 256x256 pixels (PNG files) to ensure the icons were high-resolution enough to also look good on high DPI displays such as my iPhone. When editing an item, pasting a new password into the masked password field does not correctly replace the existing value. Steps to reproduce: Open an item that already contains a password. Enter edit mode while keeping the password masked. Select the password field and paste a new password. Save the item or click the icon to reveal the password. Actual result: Part of the previous password remains at the beginning of the field, followed by the newly pasted content. Hi Guys, I've been a loyal user since the very beginning (2015), and after the new UI update I was a little worried it crashed every time, whether on Win 10, Win 11, or Win Server 2022. But the latest 6.12.4 (2630) update looks stable - I haven't had a single crash since updating.

Guys, Enpass software worked perfectly for years on my Windows PCs. You broke it. After my initial semi-positive impression, now - after using it for a while - I think the update was a disaster and I'd like to go back to the old version. I already mentioned, multiple times, the awful UI re-design decisions that serve no purpose other than to annoy. Hi Guys - I just installed Enpass 6.11.12 (1997) and I can't get the Wi-Fi Sync to work between my Windows 11 desktop and my iPhone. I went through every troubleshooting document I could find but nothing fixes the issue. Here are the suggestions I tried, and more info about my configuration: I am running Windows 11. When I try to find my Enpass Vault on my iPhone it cannot find the Windows 11 Vault. When I scan the QR code it just spins and does nothing. Since no one at Enpass seems to think it's necessary to respond to problems and errors via email or here in the forum, I hope someone will finally help paying users. Just so you know, Enpass can still be used after your latest update. As mentioned in another post, synchronization isn't possible after the update. All the tips on the help page have been followed, but there's still no improvement. It's not due to our settings or systems, as nothing has changed there. Latest update for Windows 10 is clunky. Major step backwards! Seldom/never fills in login for saved sites. Constantly asks for master password even tho I have entered an extended time before it is supposed to ask. Constantly asks to verify Firefox browser. Shows vitrification code. Stupid! This is for the Windows version. I'm "update averse", as nearly all software updates these days break software or degrade usability for the sake of changes, so I was scared to apply the update, seeing that Enpass was redesigned. I fully expected a disaster. I have to admit though, that I was not a complete disaster as this new Enpass improved the looks and the functionality without breaking too much. I have tried all the usual troubleshooting steps but the issue remains. Since the update to Enpass 6.12.0 on Windows, I have noticed an issue with custom sections. The problem is still present in the latest version 6.12.2 build 2551. Enpass automatically changes the name of the custom sections (for existing and new items), so that the first letter is always capitalized. For example, if I name a section "MySQL Database", it is immediately displayed as "Mysql Database": --> This happens already while editing the record (when the input field loses focus), before it is even saved. Hi! Version 6.12.2 (2551) is great, looks very good. Great that the notes field now stays unfolded. Unfortunately in edit mode the notes field does stay very small even if you expand the enpass windows. It would be great to have it also using the whole width. Thanks.

I just ran across a small bug with the new design. Hopefully you can fix it. If I edit an entry and want to add a new tag, then I need to scroll down. Once my mouse hits the notes field the enpass app stops scrolling though. Either I have to place my mouse at the left of everything to scroll or it won't scroll further/down up at all, once my mouse hovers over "notes".

I have problems with Enpass 6.12.1 and Edge browser with the 6.11.13 Extension on Windows 11. 9 out of 10 times the Extension wont load if i try to log in, iow if i click in a field to log in nothing happens. If the Enpass icon do show up i am promted to unlock Enpass eventhough it is unlocked in the background. Sometimes the Extension requires Enpass 6.12.1 to launch, with yet another unlocking. I could not even log into this forum, that comes with some irony... This happens on more than one computer and it happens when doing a clean install of Windows 11/Enpass. Hi Enpass Team, First I want to say thank you: For the last couple of years, enpass crashed quite often on my notebook and since a few month it seems to be very stable. Thanks for that! Now to my little issue: When I activate autostart on windows start, every time enpass launches, it also launches a console window, that quickly after that closes. This by itself is no issue. But this also launches my Windows Terminal app, which after than stays open. As soon as I disable enpass autostart, this does not happen anymore. BTW this also happens when I don't auto start enpass but then manually open enpass. So it seems that this is an issue with enpass altogether and …

I found a small translation error in the Portuguese version of Enpass (version 6.12.0 x64.2413 for Windows). In Settings → Browser → Autofill, two distinct options display the same meaning: Automatically sign in after filling in login details Autofill without prompting to select for single matching item Both are translated as "O atalho de teclado preencherá automaticamente sem apresentar o Assistente do Enpass se houver apenas um Item correspondente". The error does not occur in English. While we're at it... The addition of Brazilian Portuguese would also be very welcome.

The new layout is much more visually appealing. It takes some getting to used the new structure. What I'm missing is the ability to edit templates. There's only a button for “Add New.” Where can I access and edit existing templates? For the individual fields, I still miss the option of a freely editable dropdown field for a selection. I'm finding that with Enpass 6.12.0 (2400) on Windows 11 (25H2) that it will unlock with Windows Hello for a while (a few days.. a week maybe) and then it just stops. It will no longer trigger Windows Hello unlock process (i.e. will not trigger Windows Security dialog). If I Quit Enpass and then relaunch it, then it starts working again immediately. I don't need to reboot Windows or anything. Just Quit Enpass and relaunch.

As the title says. My other apps (Spotify, Firefox) restart without issues. It is annoying finding that the app is not running when I need it. Can we make some improvements for this case?

I've been using Enpass with full Face ID unlock for years. Recently, I updated BIOS on the PC and the option to unlock Enpass with Windows Hello after the system (or Enpass) reboot is gone. I now see "Master password is required every time you restart Enpass". How can I restore the full Windows Hello functionality? I tried deleting and re-registering Face ID in Windows Settings, but this didn't help.
