Update and reinstallation with activation not possible.

Since no one at Enpass seems to think it's necessary to respond to problems and errors via email or here in the forum, I hope someone will finally help paying users. Just so you know, Enpass can still be used after your latest update. As mentioned in another post, synchronization isn't possible after the update. All the tips on the help page have been followed, but there's still no improvement. It's not due to our settings or systems, as nothing has changed there. It's definitely an Enpass issue, because a fresh installation results in the error message "Could not connect to the server," making activation impossible. This has been tried on several computers, and the latest version doesn't work anywhere. I strongly advise everyone against installing update 6.11.19 (2205). The proof is that the old version, Enpass_5.6.10_Setup, from the official Enpass website works and synchronizes perfectly. When will someone from the developers finally respond and/or fix this problem? After all, we have and pay for Enpass (6 licenses). We're getting pretty annoyed now.

The issue is reported to the technical team, and they are investigating the issue, and we will get back to you as soon as we have an update.

In the meantime, you can download version 6.11.17 (2135) of the Enpass app from here.

Responding here because I’m encountering the same issue. Not sure when it started (after an update I suppose ?) but the vault sync stopped working at work (using Google Drive). Tired of having to rely on my phone, I tried dropping the vault and re-adding it but did have an error when I was prompted for my email : "Cannot connect to the server" (translated from french).
I searched for a solution and after having found this thread, I can confirm that installing the suggested older version 6.11.17 (2135) is working.

This is happening on a Windows 11 Professional machine running 24H2 (build 26100.1742).
Let me know if you need more input / details / tests.

I hope this will soon be fixed because the more recent versions do look a lot better.

Hello minidev,

you are right with your assumption, it is due to an update with the version I described.

I got myself an older version, which at least works. It's pathetic that it takes several weeks for someone to feel addressed by the developers and respond. What is worse is that the support does not answer by e-mail at all, only after several requests does it answer unqualified and without help.

I (we) have/have lost confidence in Enpass, we will invest in another program and developer with 6 licenses.

I can't recommend installing the updates.

Good luck

Thanks for the Link Tarun Singh Rawat, sincerely. But I still can use my Microsoft password to sync to OneDrive. Any other ideas, or Enpass versions available?

I've got a new computer. But Enpass won't install and work. Help please
