Migrate KeePassXC database to Enpass

Featured Replies

Hello,

I decided to move from KeePassXC to Enpass. Over time I have collected a lot of passwords in my KeePassXC database. Is there an easy way to import these passwords to Enpass? Maybe there is some sort of script for that?

Running Arch Linux, Enpass 6.2.0 (537)

Hi,

Thanks for showing interest in Enpass.

Currently, Enpass doesn't support a direct import from KeyPassXC. Although, you can try importing data via CSV file. For more details, check this FAQ and let us know if you face any problem.

That FAQ is for Windows; how might one import a CSV file of passwords to Enpass on Linux?

I looked but didn't find anything.

Thanks

Hi @RichieG,

Thanks for writing back.

We would like to inform you that the import functionality is same for desktop devices so please follow the steps on the Linux device and revert to us.

I've since found the FIND > IMPORT menu item but the dialog window to choose a file from doesn't see the CSV file I am trying to import from.
Thanks!

Hi @RichieG,

While importing a CSV, the Select File dialog has an option in the bottom right to choose between All files and Document files. Please choose All files and then you'd see the CSV file to import. For more details check attached screenshot.

Hope this helps!
